Relic's optical sensors were arrayed such that they could see in all directions, but their attention zeroed in on 75 and the A.I. the moment they noticed them. Other intelligent machines...? Simpler technology, and one looked heavily damaged, but clearly aware of their surroundings and capable of responding dynamically to them, including forming coherent sentences. Before they noticed what they were doing, they moved closer to inspect 75. (Relic disregarded the holographic A.I., whose rapid chatter and constantly changing appearance were off-putting.)
"Who created you? What is your purpose?" they asked, their voice devoid of inflection, though they were desperate to find out. As an afterthought, as they noticed the armor on the rusty robot, they observed, "Your weight is unevenly distributed. You must have difficulty moving like that." So intent they were on discerning the purpose behind 75's construction that they didn't pay any mind to the rudeness of their questions and statements.
