A man seemingly in his mid-twenties sat on his knees on a wooden platform with a set of steps which led down to a sand garden. He appeared to be waiting for someone, or multiple someones. Next to him on the ground was a sheathed kodachi sword, indicating that he was a warrior of some sort. Due to his lack of extravagant armour, it could be assumed that he did not belong to a feudal lord and, as such, was a Ronin.

In front of him on the sand garden were three kneeling cushions. The setting along with the weaponry and the kneeling cushions was indicative that he intended to train people today, and it was his students whom he was waiting on. While waiting, he decided to occupy his mind by reciting the Kuji-In. As he spoke, his voice was deep and somewhat intimidating. Accompanying his deep voice was an aura that, for those who had the ability to sense auras, was rather dark and covered him like a cloak as if to mask his presence.

"Rin, Pyo, To, Sha, Kai, Jin, Retsu, Zai, Zen...."

He repeated these levels of power without fail as he waited for his pupils to arrive.

This sounds fun, I think my character Reginald would work well, seeing as he can use a blade, but doesn't have much technique due to a mercenary lifestyle.
