Heyo. I was curious if anyone would like to do a sci-fi based roleplay. I don't have an already constructed plot, but I'd be willing to help work one out. I have a few pieces of concepts, but not enough to formulate a complete plot yet. So, if you're interested, feel free to reply or PM me.

Plausible legends of ancient magic, but current magic is not common.
Far future, perhaps galactic teleporters and fast terraforming
Unrest may be part of the setting, but any scenes that happen to involve combat may be summarized.

Good question. Hah, I feel slow for not thinking of mentioning that. Most subgenres are interesting to me, but I was planning to go more along the lines of realism, so possibly philosophical or militaristic.

Are there multiple species, or just humans?
How advanced is the tech? Generation ships, warp-like drives, teleportation (going along space ships, but applies to everything else.)
Finally, is this same universe/galaxy as earth, or is it a different galaxy and/or universe?

Okay, firstly, I would say there's no other known intelligent life forms, but possibly different species and races from adapting to new planets. Aliens are still a possibility, but they'd still be animal like.
Also, I would say technology would be pretty advanced. Warp-drives, FTL, terraforming, etc. Though the higher tech would likely be less common due to the expense of it.
Finally, yes it's in the same universe and galaxy, though numerable solar systems away.

She might not perfectly fit the general idea you've explained so far but I'm having trouble writing on much of anything so I decided to expand my horizons here by making my first futuristic sci-fi character.
