I'd love to join in! Just made a post about looking for this kind of RP earlier today, actually. If you're willing to accept original concept aliens, how about my Cchaaneh? We can hand-wave away my stuff about their species' empire if it doesn't fit your lore concepts. Cchaaneh is a new character based on scraps of a couple of old concepts and stuffed into my original species, so I've not got the firmest grasp on their character yet, but the best way to obtain that is through experience, I feel. They're a xenosociologist. Technically they're still a student, but they're traveling the galaxy in order to gather research through first-hand experience, possibly taking a break from their education to do so, so I think joining a ship's crew would work for them.

I‘d be using Tardis- she knows how to have authority when need be, although would be very kind to the other crewmates. That is, unless they underestimate her intelligence or strength. Then you‘ll have some problems, especially if it is repeated. Although, it could be where she and someone else never got along. Be it competing, sabotaging, or just plain bickering.

I would love to join! I'd use an altered version of Aimee, cut down on some of vampiric stuff and alien-flavor her sanguine tastes, and I even have workarounds for dealing with her sunlight allergy, which could make some 'episodes' decidedly interesting for her.

It should be noted that I am particularly well versed in the way rates, ranks and jobs work aboard naval vessels (I'm the daughter of a USN sailor IRL) so feel free to throw any questions you have in my direction. That would be great! I am more than willing to take other people's ideas and implement it into the lore. Please, do feel free to write up details for the species. I'm already doing it for planets, tech, etc.

I've got incomplete notes on the species (mostly need to finish typing up culture info and a couple notes on language) in Cchaaneh's character page, under About Varsit, but I can post it in the group as well if you like. Looking forward to this!

(It's also because I don't have the $$$ to make it epic right now. Once I get it ready, I might make it epic. We shall see!)
