At first, things seemed impossible. (Y/C) was outnumbered, five against one. From the way things were going, (Y/C) was on the losing end. However, (Y/C) had far too much to lose. (He/She/They) were an important political figure for crying out loud! Failure was not an option.
At the time, Yuan was merely passing through. He did not plan for much excitement today. However, when he stumbled upon the fight, his plans were discarded immediately, and he jumped in to try and help (Y/C).
Yuan and (Y/C) managed to come out on top. (Y/C) turned to Yuan and spoke, exhausted, “Sir, thank you for saving me. You must come with me. You’re bravery deserves to be rewarded!”
“I’m sorry, but I can’t,” Yuan responded, already backing away from (Y/C). Before (Y/C) could get another word in, Yuan turned and ran, fleeing the scene and leaving (Y/C) to stare in confusion.
(Y/C) was determined, however, to find Yuan and reward him. Furthermore, (he/she/they) wanted to know what caused him to flee so suddenly.
For this RP, I’m looking for someone who can write 2-3 paragraphs consisting of 4-5 sentences at the most. Decent English would be appreciated. Also, this RP can take place anywhere from medieval to modern.

Magic is rare, but not unheard of. Mundane characters may or may not believe in it. Magical characters may form small and exclusive pockets for study, protection, etc.
