She smiled. "That sounds like a fond memory. Almost like one of my own." Subconsciously she took a tip of her tea, imagining it to be the hot chocolate Hatter described. It wasn't of course, and her imagination wasn't working quite right this evening. The bitter taste caused her to sputter a bit and make a face.
"much better Ches thank you" He sat up and smiled softly seeing the face that Alice had made. He went to the end of the table were a large candle sat and started to do just that. Heating chocolate and mixing it with a little milk so that it could be drunk.
After some time he sat the drink in front of her. "here try this, it might be more to your liking" He pushed a bowl of marshmallow candy towards her as well to toss in if she liked.
"How long has it been since you lost your Hatter? My Alice ran off for some reason many years ago."

" i remember when the alice was around it was so lively and full of energy around here , but ounce she left it was like everything changed and it was only me and the hatter that stayed the same" she sat down on the edge of the table , she didnt very much care for chairs " it was a shame the way she just left out of the blue"
"I didn't leave out of the blue!" She snapped defensively, suprising herself as she wrapped both hands around the steaming chocolate. "I left out of the yellow...or...or something. I didn't have Hatter, or Cheshire for a doorway. I just...blinked...it was aweful."
She grew silent, once more watching the other Alice with great curiosity.

Hatter frowned softly and looked at her. "Where did you go Alice? Where did you come from?" He moved down offering a cup of the hot chocolate to the Alice in pink as well
She kept both hands tightly bound around the cup of chocolate, looking down into it's comforting swirls.
"Where did I come from..? I can't remember. An Alice rarely does from what I've noticed. But I know I was here, in the inbetween, once. For a while. I was suppose to find my Hatter then." She smiled. "And I did. But then I was gone. So fast. I went to a terrible place of metal and stone. Carriages that ran without horses, much faster than any horse could even run. I hated it. I hated it and I had no Hatter or Chesire. I had no one!" She almost screeched, looking up at the Hatter angrily. "I was alone!"

His face fell to a pained look of disparate need. He longed to help this one and she seemed to need it. How could he help her find her Hatter? How indeed when he could not even find his Alice. She had gone so long ago just popped out of the fields with the bread and butter flies with the sweet flowers. "I can try and help you find your Hatter. If you want me to Alice."
