"A-hhooooooooyyyyy THERE!" Came the loud, bellowing shout of a young woman from the deck. She had leaned backwards, both hands cupping her face, and shouted to the best of the ability which, admittedly, was pretty freaking great. The woman had long bubblegum pink hair, shaved up at each side to mimick a mo-hawk, only the hair was full of curls that sashayed down her spine and over one shoulder.
"Hellloooooo Pirates! Come out come out, I want to plaaaaaaaaaay!" Her outfit wasn't any more tame than her hair, with skin tight white breeches, and a billowing black v-style men's blouse. The "V" hung nearly to her navel, and the leather chord going from one side to the other just barely kept the cloth entirely covering her chest. Red boots covered tiny feet, and a matching belt hung loosely on her side. Attached to this belt were several small daggers and a single pistol. All in all she looked quite like a pirate herself.
The name was Mary-Sue, and she was looking for a job.

A head peeked out of a large vessel bright stunning blue hair shimmered in the bright sunlight falling over one intriguing cyan eye. He had a slender friendly face and a grin that went from one highly pierced ear to the other. "AHOOYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" He sang back at the girl with bright pink hair. "Come on aboard!" His head darted back in to the port hole and vanished fully.
Avior flew high above the sky, just above the clouds, letting his outermost feathers touch and enjoy the breeze. He did a little spin in the air. Nothing felt quite like flying up in the open sky. He glided down below the cloud layer, it getting a little too warm for him in the sun. He looked down and saw two ships. Curiousity overcoming his careful nature(again), he landed on the crows nest. He had honestly no idea why on earth it was named that, but it sort of fit in this situation. He heard the shuffling of feet down below under the hull, thanks to his enhanced senses. He looks down and tucks his wings inward to prevent more sight towards him.
One didn't have to ask Mary-Sue twice. She jumped onto the ship, skipping the open plank entirely in her bought, and landing easily on the deck. The small throwing daggers at her side clanked together sweetly with her landing, and fell into silence by the time she stood.
Well, the only person she saw on the ship had dissapeared down the port hole, so naturally the young woman followed. "Hulllo there! Are you the Captain of this ship? I could use a captain. Or a mutiny."

He launched himself out of one of the doors in to the bowls of the ship and had a wide grin. "Hello there I am indeed the Captain of this here vessel. What brings you out here searching to join a crew?" He brushed the long bright blue bangs from his ocean hued eyes. He gave a tilt to his head and then tilted it the other way.
"Something like that." She smirked, eyeing the captain with curiosity. What strange hair. Mary enjoyed strange hair. "Did you know you have a crow ontop your ship? Is thatsuppose to be good luck or bad luck here?"
he looked up and grinned brightly seeing the bird perched. "Well some find it bad luck but me I like them they belong on the crows nest I feel I feed them as I feed my crew when I have a crew I think that he looks hungry does he look hungry to you?" He said this all in one long breath as he pushed the bright blue hair from his eyes. He stood up straight getting a more serious look on his face. "Are you really in need of work? I would be careful who you talk to out here some are not so nice."
Kali had finally reached the ship she had been looking for. "I finally found ya." she grinned and ran up the ladder bridge. Seeing the crow made her for sure this was it. "I would like to join ya crew. If ya lookin fer one, that is." she smiled. Kali had a dream to be on this ship, why that would be, she had no clue. Maybe it was the stories she had heard of the things the old crew had seen. Things that made them run off when they were back on land. Land lovers. She tsked as the thought passed her brain.
Avior leaned over, trying to hear the conversation, his curiosity once again getting the best of him. As he heard the remark about the crow, he realized they were talking about him. He materialized an arrow in his hand, and took out his bow. He fired it without even looking at aiming, the arrow, piercing the deck of the ship with a 'thud-d-d-d-d..." He jumped from the top and landed on top of the railing, and then says, "I'm not a crow."
The arrow landed dangerously close to Mary-Sue's left arm. She arched an eyebrow at it, then lurched it's shaft from the wood of the boat. She then jumped up onto the side, knealt, and used both the boat's side and the strength in her legs to propel herself up and towards the crow's nest.
She made it, just barely, and clamped her free hand around the nest. A second later Mary hauled herself up using that hand and jammed the arrow into the wood right in front of it's shooter.
"Then perhaps you shouldn't perch up here where people can barely see you. Jerk." She said, a tone of annoyance in her voice. Mary didn't much care for being shot at.
Then, having said her peace, the woman released her hold on the crows nest and dropped gracefully back down onto the boat's deck.

His eyes followed all that happened in such a short amount of time. looking then to Mary-Sue he grinned and nodded. "Your in."
Turning then to the new girl who had sped up the plank to stand in front of him on the deck. "What makes you an asset to join my crew?" He was keeping an eye on the so called 'not-crow' as he spoke to both girls.

Oh so he wasn't a crow...interesting. "My assets?" she grinned. Not like he'd ask the other girl. Her skill was obvious with the throwing knifes jingling in her belt. Probably needed to make sure those were hidden in a battle. "Well." she looked at her fingers for a moment. "Ya never know what people be hidden them fancy coats." She took out several bags of gold and other, little trinkets. "But pickpocketing has it's rules, however." Never did she take from children or the elderly. Only the snide and well deserved was graced by her thieving fingers. "Never have to worry about being short on cash or bargaining items." She had other assets but she would leave them be.
(I meant that he had flown down to the deck railing, but whatevs, I can roll with it) Avior fell back in surprise, falling onto the deck. He quickly gets up, rubbing his head. Then he looks at the female with the knives again, and says, "Vehaaawh! Heveh lekawhkelkah!" flying behind a barrel. He peeks out from behind it, his shyness now imminent.
"I like pickpockets as long as it is not my pockets that are picked. I like my pockets right where they are thank you." He grinned and nodded thinking. "Well if you are good with those blades and hands are quick we can use one like you as well"
He turned then to the thing that squawked and flapped behind his barrel. "What are you if you are not a crow? You seem very crow like and I like crows. Oh Yeah, also, what are ye doing on my ship? Arg....*coughs*"

Mary watched the not-a-crow for a moment, then nearly burst with laughter. "You, my friend, I like you!" She nearly roared. If he had been close enough, and not hiding behind a barrel, she'd have slammed his shoulder in friendship. Then she turned her attention to the pick pocket, and subconsciously checked her own pockets. Everything still there. Then she wrapped a hand around her bare wrist - and seemed pleased with that as well.
Mary-Sue grinned. "Been a while since I've ran with a little thief."
Mary-Sue grinned. "Been a while since I've ran with a little thief."
"There be a difference between pickpockets and thieves." Kali fanged grin spread across her face. "Thieves get caught." ...and never quick enough anyway. "And yer right, they are quite little, them yeller bellies anyhow. To scared to take from bigger fancy folk. Yet they ain't smart enough to keep up with what they stole." She watched the captain who seemed a bit off but yet seemingly interesting."And don't worry." She had saw the woman check herself. "I don't steal from fellow crew members." Now the Crow. Or not crow. Or whatever it was confusing enough, was being interrogated and she for one wanted to know about it.
"Er...I heard voices and I was curious, so I decided to check it out." Avior says, biting his lower lip as he moved to in front of the barrel, sitting down. "And sorry I shot an arrow at you, I just get offended when that happens...And why are you so friendly although I just shot at you about a minute ago?" Avior asks, very curious. He was not very good with human behavior, not really knowing any humans.
Mary-Sue bit back another loud laugh and settled for a soft chuckle. "Well you missed, didn't ya? Either you never meant to hit me, or you're a poor shot. Either way, I don't reckon I'll need to watch my back." She reached out to scruff up the hair on his head a bit. He was interesting, Mary liked interesting.
Gary-Stu grinned and nodded to the explanations, they all seemed like good ones to him. He had come to port to do just what these folk wanted to do and that was re-crew his ship. He turned though still listening, away from the group to start pulling on a few of the rigging ropes. He was finishing preparing the ship for departure. He planned as it so happened to leave as soon as the ship had a decent crew, one he could stand listening to for more than half a day. The last one was a bunch of harpies constantly complaining about the salt getting in to their feathers and the swords being far too long for their stubby little bird like legs...Damn things always were a bother. He was still getting raw rotting meat out of one of the cells down in the brig where they liked to eat.
"No, I meant to miss." Avior says, looking at the arrow in the deck. He materializes another arrow and notches it in his bow, aiming at a seagull high above the sky. He shoots the arrow, it whistling as it streaks though the sky. About a minute later, the arrow comes back down onto the deck, Avior catching it. One of the seagull's feathers pierced.
