Hey all! I'm Anais. I'm female and I've just turned 30. (Phew, time just flies by, doesn't it?) I've always wanted to try roleplaying and collaborative writing, but I've never made a serious effort to find partners until now. So I signed up here in the hopes it would get my creative juices flowing. Hoping to meet someone around my age who can show me the ropes. 
I write dark fantasy and erotica, with indifferent success at either. It's hard to get all those multi-dimensional eldritch horrors to fall in love with each other in a way that would appeal to regular folks just looking for a fun, romantic read. I'm still working on it. In the meantime, I write ordinary erotica and just dream.
For roleplay, I think I'd enjoy working on a romantic fantasy with someone. I love building a slow-burn romantic tension and then getting into the dirty details. I like the build up the most, though-- all those long, smoldering looks and stolen touches, until it all builds up to a climactic explosion 200 pages later.

Oh my, I'm in no way over anyone's level! In fact, I'd probably be at Lvl 0 when it comes to roleplaying.
I'm still on lurk mode right now, trying to get a feel for what everyone else is doing, but I really appreciate your offer. I'll keep it in mind.
Anne Rice erotica is a pretty delicious guilty pleasure of mine, so we'll probably get along just fine!

I'm sorry the slow burn has raised some hackles for you, but I do hope you've found and enjoyed roleplay with similar-minded folks. Now I regret how little I know about the world of LOTR. It seems like such a nice, deep sandbox to play in!
