Hey. So this is an appeal for a slice of life RP set in a Japanese high school club founded with the goal of exploring the concept of friendship and how to make friends. Club activities include team-building and social games and activities, and the focus is on character interaction.

• Japanese characters only please. Please make sure that your character has a Japanese name. I would also request you adhered to the conventions used in Japan (Family name first-given name second format, honorifics, etc.)
• Ages 15-17 only. Your age will decide what year you are.
• The club is tailored for those who have trouble making/no friends. Please keep that in mind.
• Send me a PM if you are interested in the RP. We can discuss questions, details, and your character idea(s) there without cluttering this page.
• Human characters only please.

Don't worry about post-length. This is meant to be a purely casual RP, with no pressure on anyone. One line/word replies are completely fine (my character will be making quite a few of them), and going 10+ paragraphs is okay too. There are no post orders, and posting at least once a day is okay. However, it's very rude to join an RP only to ghost it right after, so please don't do that.

The RP will be going in the General RP forum, but I might make a group if that's what everyone prefers.

As for numbers, I'll wait to see how many respond to this before making a cut-off point, but it'll probably be around 3-4 people since there are two of us right now.

I should also mention that while the story will remain slice of life, things like drama are wholly accepted. Darker topics like drugs, abuse, etc. are okay, but aren't encouraged to be delved into too deeply, for the sake of keeping things mostly lighthearted. I don't mean to imply that anything along these lines will happen; I'm just encouraging anyone interested to keep an open mind to topics like these since they could come up.

Count me in! I'm going to use one of the characters I already have but just change it up a little.

Am I allowed to have a mute character? She'll socialise with paper or sign language if the person she is speaking to knows it.

I have updated the rules in the original post, to be more specific in what I'm looking for. I apologize to those that I have already accepted, but I must ask that you please reconsider your characters based on the new criteria. If you do not match the criteria but are still interested in the RP, please consider either altering your character or creating a new one. Of course, if you would rather leave the RP, I understand.
