I'm no stranger to roleplay, have been dabbling with group and one-on-one roleplays for... oh, quite a few years now. I've participated in tabletop roleplays (both as a player and a DM), and I've been active in online roleplaying communities even longer.
My favorite sort of roleplay is anything and everything fantastical. Delving into entirely different worlds and immersing myself in the strange and bizarre is the draw for me not only in my roleplaying but in all the media I consume - books, shows, video games, you name it.
If you're looking for someone with a penchant for LGBT+ characters, fantasy/sci-fi settings, and a laid-back pace (due to being in University), you've found them! I'm looking forward to having a grand old time here

As for your question, JayBird, I'm a sucker for fantasy and sci-fi in all forms - urban fantasy, high fantasy, cyberpunk, steampunk, post-apocalyptic, space opera, science fantasy. I don't have any favorite books, unfortunately, there's just too many to love! However, I have recently gotten into the Lockwood and Co. series, a wonderful thrill ride following a group of supernatural investigators who use silver rapiers and a multitude of innate supernatural senses to solve various mysteries of the spectral sort. I've also started re-reading the Bloody Jack series, good ol' Jacky will always have her special place in my heart.
