The world does not seem familiar, neither do a few other very confused beings standing in the field of view.
So, yes, that's the basics. A few characters get thrown into an unfamiliar world and have to somehow deal with it, and the other weirdos in the same situation.
Looking for paragraph-style roleplay, 3+ players. Additional ideas for the narrative always welcome. Any characters from any setting are welcome, though, we might end up rebalancing some abilities if some characters end up way stronger than others.

Magic is rare, but not unheard of. Mundane characters may or may not believe in it. Magical characters may form small and exclusive pockets for study, protection, etc.
Iron age
Distant war may be part of the setting, but any scenes that happen to involve combat will likely be summarized, not played out in detail.
