"Well given I haven't met my future self I couldn't tell you. As for how we know each other. Well me knowing your future self. Well it was a random encounter that..."
He then turned and looked at her in silence a moment.
"Well I know informing one of things that haven't happened to them yet can affect Thierry future different than what they were informed... But I believe you deserve to know this. Let's just say I know that scar covers more than just what one can see. The left side of your body to be specific...I'll let you figure it out from there as I'm a bit bashful talking about that kind of subject."
His face would then redden a bit as he looked back forward.
"And before you ask, no I'm not hoping for that same result this time."
He then turned and looked at her in silence a moment.

As she listened, miserably watching her floating gold, a smile spread across her face. It was not a modest smile, nor a nervous one; but a smile of knowing. It was not hard for her to figure out how they had met each other; or rather where that meeting went. She was not ashamed, either. He could get a small glimpse at that future Ilo forming in her smile.
"Well, you may have fooled me, what with all the niceties." She smirked and gave him a wink before walking around him to really get a look at him.

"You had left before the sun had even come up. And that was the last I seen of you then. You may be at my home in that time period waiting for me. Who knows. I got brought to this time within hours afterwards."
He then shrugged lightly as he glanced at her.
"I guess the only one who will know the answer to that question will be you."
He then looked back forwards as a clearing in the trees became visible.
"We're almost there. And incident free...surprising... Odd as well."
He then shrugged lightly as he glanced at her.

She tensed then, awaiting what must be an immanent ambush. If he had expected one this whole way, then it was likely that the suspense was building to a rather lofty attack. She took in her surroundings and walked with a measured pace, sure not to stray too far from Kyle.
"What sort of incidents are you waiting for, exactly?"
"What sort of incidents are you waiting for, exactly?"
"Well as I said the fire controlling versions of Kages are abundant in this area. And since the war, they became aggressive attacking anyone who wasn't one of their own including other Kages who aren't of the fire element. So I was expecting to possibly run into some. And as good as you may be I don't think you woulda been able to take an ambush from a group of them alone."
He then shrugged and chuckled lightly
"I guess we lucked out though."

"I guess we lucked out though."
She lifted a perfectly plucked brow at his slight of her and frowned. "We will see what I can do."
She was tense with annoyance now at being underestimated. Frustrated, she silently wished there was some sort of ambush so she could show of the skills she had taught herself in the months since her accident. However, she didn't know anything about these people besides the fact that they used fire. And in the back of her mind she knew it was unwise to be so foolish as to wish to be attacked by an unknown foe.

He cast a glance at her and smirked lightly as he waved a finger in the air.
"now now. Remember. I hold the advantage of knowing your future self. The more well trained and experience version. And what I learned of you then is what I'm basing my hypothesis on. You may surprise me but who knows."
He then chuckled softly.
"If you want to see if you may be able to hold your own against one at leat, then we could spar. Right now. As though you were just ambushed by one of them. I know enough of them to simulate a fairly accurate conflict with one. What do you say. As tired and exhausted as you are now. Maybe I'll let you see a trump card all Kages have."

She twisted on her heel to suddenly face him, hair whipping about her face. "Fine! We will spar, but first you have to put my gold down where its safe! I worked hard for that you know, I won't have you stealing it from me while I'm busy."
She crossed her arms over her chest and jut her hips to one side, awaiting his response.

He smirked lightly as her gold hovered just over his shoulder.
"Sad thing is...we could be surrounded by the hokage clans right now and wouldn't even be able to tell. But I know why we wouldn't be able to tell..."
He then made a throwing motion with one arm causing her gold to rocket past her yet land gently a ways behind her. He followed through this throwing motion bending over and smacking his hand one the ground. As his hand hit his arm burst into flames. The moment the flames erupted he jerked back up and screamed at the top of his lungs.
"AH CRAP! Backfire!"
In the next instant his entire body was engulfed in flames as just as quickly incinerated as the flames died out leaving behind a small pile of ash and smoldering cinders.

She blinked. Then cautiously approached the pile, bending at her waist to stare at it. "Well. That just happened." Straightening she looked all around her, expecting the man to be standing off the the side somewhere mocking her or something along those lines. She didn't see him.
"Well what the 'ell am I supposed to do now?" She threw her hands up and stomped over to her loot pile.

He smirked lightly as he reappeared atop her pile of gold in a burst of flames with one of his swords drawn and pointed towards her neck.
"Lesson one when battle hokage. NEVER! Never...let your guard down. They are just as stealthy as they are aggressive. They will appear out of nowhere as I just did and viciously assault their chosen target. They were second only to my own Kazekage when it came to stealth. But due to the versatility of wind, the fire were the primary scouting teams despite wind being just a tiny bit better."
He then stared at her in silence for a moment.
"You've already died. This spar is already over. And it's because of that, as another reason I used to volunteer to escort you...Would you like to try again now that you have a better idea of what to expect?"

"You cannot declare me dead until you've cut my throat and my heart ceases to beat." Her front shimmered with a dim magenta sheen: a very preliminary mana shield. "It's not much, but it could have slowed the blade long enough for me to react. I'll make it stronger soon."
She lunged forward, avoiding the blade and swung her left arm at him. Forming as it moved, the gauntlet emit a magenta blob that looked like it was trying to form a blade? Or a hammer? It was extremely unclear, but it hit with enough force to reassure that it was solid.

He flew off of her stack of gold from the impact and smacked hard against a tree. He just lay there quietly for a moment before he chuckled softly as he got up.
"See...I could have...but I've developed a habit called not harming a woman. Besides. If I had killed you, it would create a time paradox thus causing your future self to cease to exist. And who knows what effect that would have on me as I have already met your future self."
He then turned to face her showing the part of his body she had hit was cracked and chipping away a bit. After a moment though it stopped and began to reform. As it would reform, Kyle's body could be seen and the substance that was reforming appeared to be sand.
"Quite interesting. Well since I refuse to hurt women how bout I just deal my 'death blow' on you with a light tap with the side of the blade? Will that suffice? It does however have to be at a vital spot so a tap on the arm or leg is a no go for victory."
He then chuckled a bit more.

"Whatever. I have no qualms striking anyone who comes at me.." The pink edge on her person dimmed slightly more as she decided to focus her energy on the mana shape constructed over her left arm. It was wobbling in and out of form and it was obvious Ilo was trying to concentrate on it enough to keep it corporeal. This was all new still, but she wanted the thing to just be solid enough to land a harmful blow.
She let out a breath and tensed her body, launching at him with a wide swing of the mana arm. It was such an obvious and clumsy movement it was likely to be countered, but there was enough force behind it to knock him over. However, that was not her intent as her free arm unlatched a knife from her thigh and swung it toward his gut area as he was occupied with redirecting her first blow.

He smirked lightly as he watched the swing. Instead of blocking it however, he quickly dropped down so that he was sitting Indian style as that blow went over his head. As he did so, he also raised up his left arm at the elbow listening to tue tell tale clang of metal on metal as he used his forearm guard to block her knife.
"Your technique with that is sloppy...I do wonder however why that is. You could still be getting used to it or the mana used to form it possesses some form of unseen weight thus in turn throwing you off balance a tad. Or perhaps it's a combination of both."
He then rolled off to the side to get away from the tree before standing.
"Well then. Show me more of what you got."

Being the stubborn girl she was, she did not take criticism well. Her brow furrowed and droplets of sweat formed on her forehead as she made her next move. She sent all of her concentration into the mana supported by her arm, the shield ceasing to exist. The magenta field lashed out at Kyle like a great whip. When he inevitably dodged the crack, she formed the thing into a sort of tentacle, snaking after him striking again and again in an attempt to knock him off his feet.
She was becoming over-taxed however. Her fatigue infuriated her, as she had only just begun getting comfortable with the mailable mana weapon. Her knees gave at first, but she kept attacking, jaw tensed and grimacing determined to take him down.

He smirked a bit as he actually dodged the whip like weapon again only to rush her and stopped directly in front of her a hand in front of her face. A slight breeze would then clearly emit from his hand for a moment before stopping as he lowered his hand.
"Well. My goal was completed."
He then chuckled softly as he stared directly in her eyes.
"Disengage your weapon. We'll consider this done. You have the talent and ability to indeed battle hokage."
He then chuckled a bit more as he turned around and waved a finger causing her pile of gold to begin hovering again.
"I don't care if you appreciate being criticized or not. If you take no other bit of advice from me, then take this bit. If you battle the homage while your here, conserve your stamina. Hit and run tactics. Don't try to put all your energy in to a one hitter quittertype of blow because if you miss, it could be the end of you. I don't control you there for during your time here, you will probally choose to explore or something. And thus in turn I may not be there to assist you if you do indeed get attacked by the hokage."
He then started walking away heading back towards the building.

She let the mana go and she could feel it flowing back to the core of her being, pooling to lie in wait until she called upon it again.
"You're infuriating." She felt suddenly tense, like all of her muscles bunched at once, right as she was taking a step to follow him. Needless to say that step never quite met the ground: She fell forward. Her eyes rolled back as she lost consciousness.

He chuckled softly at her comment.
"Not naturally. I choose to infuriate others when it comes to combat related issues. Helps them realize..."
He was cut off by the unmistakable sound of a body hitting the ground and turned around seeing her unconscious.
"And that's exactly one of the 'end of you' things that could occur from over exerting yourself...luckily this time your with an ally. Guess this means I'm carrying you too after all."
He then chuckled softly as he knelt down and pulled her up over his shoulder and began walking once more.
"Apparently the future her took my advice...she seemed to have more stamina...or so it seemed...interesting meeting one who already heard your advice before then meeting em again before you gave em that advice..."
After a bit more walking he sighed lightly as he entered the clearing which contained his home and smiled softly as he just stood and stared at it for a bit.

Weird dreams flowed over her consciousness and she was very dimly aware of being moved. She was not used to the power usage, like her future self who was entirely in control of her mana. She was not even as full figured as she was then. While she was always as sarcastic and arrogant, she was now only the bud to the rose bush she would become and it was hard for her to shield herself without thorns. Her eye lids flickered open, but she couldn't see much before they heavily closed again.
Eventually, she was able to keep them open and she found herself being carried over somebody's shoulder. She was bouncing slightly with his gait and she looked around almost frantically before realizing what had happened.
"Put me down," she said through a sigh.
