He closed his eyes a moment then chuckled.

"I guess some things never change. Anyways. This monster. He's about 5'7". 135lbs...red eyes. Waist length black hair. And shows no mercy to any when fully released."

As he spoke if Ilo would noticed Kyle had basically just described himself...save for the hair and eyes. He would then turn and wLk towards the edge of the roof.

"He always shows when I don't wish him too. And when he does show even the potential of my friends being harmed or worse is placed on the table. He doesn't believe in allies. He only believes in pain suffering torment and death..."

Ilo smirked. "If you're talking about a beast in your pants..." But she saw he was serious and let the words die on her lips. Her smile fell and she crossed her arms under her breasts, dropping her head the the side. She was serious now, as she could tell this topic was not to be fun.

"So, what would you like me to do?" Her tone was sober.

He glanced over his shoulder with his eyes closed.

"Pound. Injury harm. Basically everything but kill this beast. While you are doing that, I'll be trying to control it..."

He would then open his eyes now red in color as his hairs length would begin to slowly increase and his skin tone darken.

"Just don't pummel him too bad...I would like to able to walk when it's done."

As he finished speaking a low growl escaped the confines of his mouth through gritted teeth as bony protrusions began to pierce through his skin at his elbows knees and along his spine and down the length of his now forming tail.

There were no sarcastic comments out of her now. She was deadly serious as the situation called for. The magenta tinge leaked out of her arm and over her body as she tensed for impact. She didn't want to attack him first. It was honestly too weird to just start attacking this man that had been so nice to her and she had obviously found kinship in later on in her life. Even if he looked like some horror story right now.

Having finished prepping her shield, she let out a long breath to focus herself. She was ready.

His form tensed up a bit as it seemed to grow a bit though not by much. The low growl escaping his mouth slowly intensified before generated back and threw his arms out to his sides allowing the growl to escape his mouth in the form of a bloodthirsty roar. After a moment he relaxed his form a bit and stared at Ilo a bit before looking about as he exhaled slowly causing his breath to visibly come out as though they were in the cold. After looking around for a bit he slowly started walking towards Ilo with a murderous look in his eyes that were now veiled by his longer hair. As he approached, his tail flickered back and forth violently.

The girl started to walk, meeting the beast halfway. She started with similar moves from before, her mana changing into a blunt weapon which she swung repeatedly at the thing whilst using her dagger in her right hand. She had more focus in her shield now and it spread over her entire self. When the beast took a jab at her, she used changed the mana into a disc resembling an actual buckler and to diffuse the momentum of the blow she pushed back. This was done in the hope that it would knock the beast's balance off, gaining her an opening to attack.

He mrred in a sickeningly content manner at her assault as instead of being thrown off balance he purposely back-up a bit. He silently stood there observing her in silence for a moment before suddenly vanishing into thin air. A moment later he reappeared above her a bit in the air spinning quickly before he came dropping down at her, his tail extended outwards obviously his intended weapon of choice for this attack.

Ilo had only a fraction of a second to react. She put her arms above her head, left one top with the magenta buckler. She braced for impact and the force of the beast's tail hit her shield. Her body was his with such force that the ground below her may have even cracked. Her knees buckled and her shins slammed into the ground. Shaking off the pain, she got to her feet and made another assault on the thing.

This time it was his own turn to go on the defensive as it crossed it's arms in front of itself. Just as Kyle spoke though it was merciless as even while blocking it pressed forward towards her, the same unchanged sickening look in it's eye. As it got nearer, it began to swing it's torso from side to side aiming the bony protrusions from it's elbows at her while keeping it's arms crossed in front of it. As it went some of her hits did make it stumble a bit to the point where it would plant it's tail to brace itself now.

Ilo was hard pressed to keep attacking while the thing was trying to stab her with its elbows. He cut her forearms a couple times as she was in the middle of swinging when he'd put the protrusion forth. She grit her teeth and kept coming at him when she was able, despite the warm sensation of blood running down her arms. She was annoyed that the beast had cut through her minor defensive shield, but she knew she had unconsciously shifted more mana into her arms making the light shield weaken. With an irritated grunt, Ilo shifted her weapon into a staff and spun around, wielding it with two hands. It hit the beast mid torso from the side.

He roared in surprise at the sudden weapon change and stumbled back a bit and stood there. Just as he was about to press forward again he stopped with a jerk as his skin tone lightened and one of the red eyes shifted back to his normal color of blue. A moment later he began to speak.

"I dunno what that last hit was but it helped me out some. Really rattled this beast. Are you doing ok? Has it hurt you?"

Ilo looked at her arms as she caught her breath in huffs. The magic had all faded away and she held her forearms in front of her, the blood dribbling down in rivulets. She looked from either arm to Kyle and smirked. "He got me a couple of times..."

The one blue eye shifted back to red a bit then back again to blue as Kyle's voice came out from the beasts mouth again.

"I'm just glad your still alive. Most don't last this long. Just hang in there a few more minutes. And watch out for that tail."

She nodded and rebooted her shield. The staff seemed to send a jolt through the beast's system so she reformed it with her mana and stood at the ready as Kyle's consciousness seemed to be fading out again. She awaited when he would slip out entirely and the beast would attack again.

He nodded his approval at her being ready just before his eye shifted to red again. Almost as though nothing happened, the instant it was red again, he whipped about and swung his tail at her.

Ilo had been ready this time and the tail hit her armored arm. The momentum almost threw her off her feet, but she had stitched them to the ground with mana first. Her other arm was suspiciously still for the entire action as it hung next to her like it was immobile. However, she had cupped her hand and purposely let her arm hang so that some of her own blood would collect. When the Kyle Beast got close enough to her supposedly injured self, she threw the blood into his eyes to disorient him.

When he was taken aback by the sudden blinding, she formed the staff in her opposite hand and swung it hard.

He let loose with a roar in what sounded to be both delight and surprise as the blood hit his eyes but it was quickly cut short as the staff harshly hit him actually causing him to fall to the ground. He lay there quiet and motionless for a bit before suddenly convulsing violently as a mixture of pained roars and guttural growls emitted from his form as it flopped tossed and turned like a fish out of water. As it did so it's eyes began to glow a dark purple color as beams seemed to shoot out of them.

She wasn't about to be incinerated by laser beams coming from this things eyes, if that's what they were. She had decided she may as well treat them that way and immediately got out of the beast's line of sight. she dodged the things facial directions as best she could. Even if it wasn't going to burn her, she didn't want to find out what the lasers did do.

He suddenly stopped as the light faded and he lay there silent with his eyes closed. After a bit he slowly opened one revealing it to be back to it's natural blue color as he pivoted it around looking a bit and sighed lightly. Those his open eye was blue, none of the other signs of the beast had faded as he spoke softly.

"Yo...damn...that hurt..."

Ilo grinned and stood straight, her lower arms were a good deal redder than when they started this game. She rolled her head to loosen the tension in her neck and paced over to Kyle. She was still on guard, however, when she crouched a few feet away from him.

"Are you YOU again? 'Cause I think I should probably stop this bleeding."
