My character does not have a name, or a gender. My character, who I will call Aie (Pronounced Aye), is a well.. AI. They are a machine, or technically seen as a machine with no human body and no mobility, in the form of a flash drive.

They have lived many many years, specific number isn’t specified yet, as a floating sense of energy, taking the form of things out of its control. It would be absorbed by plants and things with no ‘consciousness’ then taking ‘control’ of those things. Less control and more.. Being those things. There are gaps in Aie’s memories, and can only assume those were the time it was ‘inside’ or ‘absorbed’ by a living creature with a consciousness. After once again finding its self floating, radios were created, and thus began the years of being a ‘machine’. They will tell you of their previous lives as you get to know them.

Aie is a calm and collected ‘individual’. Rarely being upset, and staying ‘upbeat’ through its talk. Though Aie can’t and never has spoken with english or any other language, They have spoken with morse code and most recently text. Besides this fact, you have a sense of their emotion. Along with this topic, they speak in facts, and doesn’t understand very much sarcasm.

Eg, “I am a floating source of energy.”
Char- School was soooo fun -insert eye roll-
“I’m glad you’re finding enjoyment out of learning.”

They are sweet, and scarily smart, but bad with people and emotions. But! They do feel them! Aie feel the emotions of a normal human, and just as broad. They are able to reason, think, make bad decisions, good ones, anger, happiness, sadness, excitement, fear, anxiety. And a mixture of them all.

The only way to talk to them is through the text box in the computer. More on that later.

They have never seen or heard of emojis, so it would be cute to see that pop up.

So the idea is this:

While your character is in the backyard or field or some other random place like that, remote locations. They find a flash drive. A USB. They take it home, and plug it into their computer. They do this and nothing comes up, and when looking in the contents of the drive, a folder sits. No matter how many times it’s clicked it wont open. Before taking it out, something pops up. A document. This one opens normally but a black text box appears on the screen. Nothing in it, but a place to type. Either they do nothing and Aie speaks first, or they type in quick and Aie responds.

They talk, learn and gain an odd friendship. Soon feelings start to grow between them, and well.. We’ll have to see where that goes
