I'll get straight to the point of my question: how do I make a circular group icon? I can use the gimp platform if that helps any. I've tried to make the icon not look like a literal square, but it's all I've managed to achieve. I've noticed there are icons that do not look like this, so I'm wondering how they do this. Any advice would be much appreciated, thank you.

Hey Lady!
I'm not a huge expert, but what I did to get this result was open your icon in a photoshop-like program, and deleted the outskirts of the circle. Not sure if this is what you wanted, but nonetheless what you do is erase the parts you don't want, and then because I don't know how to use my husband's program more than that, I used LunaPic.com, uploaded the image and had that online service set the background to transparent.

I tried using the transparent on gimp but failed royally. As for using Lunapic...it's been years since I used that program. But I'll give it a shot! Thank you!
