Can you properly put up a layout from say like, CoolChaser or FreeCodeSource, like copy and paste the Myspace 1.0 profile code and then pasting it into whatever character, or writer profile thingy on here? I'm just a little bit curious here.
Nope. Depending on how that code was meant to function and where you put it, most/all of it would either be stripped out, or a few things would work but mostly be broken.

However, if there's a design you really like, you might be able to find someone willing to adjust or mimic it for you. :)
It may be possible for some features of the Myspace 1.0 profile structure to be replicated, but it'll never truly be 1:1 here...even on sites that mimic the Myspace 1.0 profile structure, they don't use the same code, so the structure as we once knew it is dead. Unfortunate, I know. I personally prefer what I have now.

The other website I'm on can still use that code and the layouts. So I was hoping this place could also use it. But I guess that's all right.

Thank you for that. I tried using those layouts on a website a lot of us call RPG, and the layouts didn't work on there. It kinda did, but it was....Weird looking. So I was curious if the codes would work here. But I guess not.

It isn't a total loss, though--if you have ever used BBCode, that is even MORE flexible than any iteration of Myspace. Sky's the limit--I mean, have you seen the charas I run? >_< I have found no shortage of template styles I liked here.

RPR templates have a set div box structure like this:

https://www.rprepository.com/help/custom-templates#87

The only thing you can do is write or modify CSS coding to manipulate these div boxes and arrange them into the layout you want. You can't edit the HTML structure as that is uniform across all profiles.

Since these boxes have certain IDs and classes, coding that doesn't tell these specific IDs and classes what to do won't work. Coding from other places likely don't work because they're trying to target different elements that don't exist on RPR profiles.

If you know CSS well enough, you can do some really cool things, but there's no copy and paste coding available. There are template makers who create custom templates for free, or as commissions. I know someone recreated a Wikipedia-style layout which looks really cool! I'm sure someone can fudge things around and try to make something MySpace-y for you, but you'll have to ask around for someone to do it, and probably be prepared to pay for it. Coding takes a lot of time and is a learned skill, so a lot of folks ask for compensation for their labor.

Either way, it's not entirely impossible, an exact replicate might not work but something very similar could possibly be achieved!
Myspace, ah I wish I can go back to those few years, when emo was popular enough then. ^-^ But I would prefer to use that over Facebook nowadays. 'Cause, why not?
