Androids and humans coexist. The future is finally here, and now at a reasonable price, you can buy your own personal android! They cook, clean, garden, and assist to any daily needs. You can even register a name for them in newest models! Why not get yourself an android?
Androids and humans coexist. Androids are responsible for stealing the jobs of humans. They can obviously perform much more efficiently than you - they never get tired, after all. Before you know it, the world will have been taken over by robots. Why would you get yourself an android?
Okay so hi! I recently just finished playing through a game called Detroit: Become Human and instantly fell in love with the concept of how androids become deviants, so I'm here with an idea!
Basically, androids are machines. They are created to accomplish a mission, and always follow orders given to them. That is how they are made, and it is their main function.
Thing is, some androids become self aware and realize that they don't have to obey what they are being told when in a bad situation, thus breaking free and disobeying, earning them the title "Deviant." Deviants feel human emotions like fear, love, empathy, etc, and I wanted to start a roleplay with Isaac here for that reason! Here's a few ideas I had:
A ) Isaac is purchased by y/c (or their guardian) as a personal servant, and also to keep them company. They both become close and enjoy each others company, though y/c finds it hopeless because Isaac is just a robot who is programmed to be friendly. In reality, however, as Isaac spends more time with y/c, he slowly and slowly inches closer to becoming a deviant, until something pushes him past the breaking point. After that, y/c and Isaac have to keep his deviancy a secret so that he doesn't get destroyed.
B ) Y/c hates deviants with a burning passion. What's even worse is that y/c has to purchase one to help fix and clean their house because y/c's roommate walked out on them. At first, y/c ignores the android - gives them a list of chores and doesn't talk to them for some period of time. Unfortunately, though, Isaac happens to follow y/c around everywhere - school, stores, parks, and so on. Y/c's friends tease them for buying an android because they know y/c despises them, and it's a vicious cycle of annoyance.
This one can end in Isaac wanting to know why y/c doesn't like androids and they could meet an understanding and maybe even become friends at the end, we can discuss it! This option will probably be a bit angstier, however.
And that's it! You don't have to have seen/played D:BH for this roleplay, everything you need I've already addressed!
I'm looking for more mxm roleplays, but I'll take mxf, too. Please provide at least four sentences, and thank you for reading!
