Zilyx took a deep breath, enjoying the smell of nature. It wasn't often Zilyx was allowed the pleasure of simply walking through the forests, without any intentions other than that of relaxation. The Seven had ceased their constant pressuring, and Zilyx could even feel his Markings, a rare commodity. He was still dressed in his usual attire, the finery being one of the few outfits he actually owned, and though this was meant to be for pleasure alone, Zilyx still carried his dual blades, knowing through experience that the world did not pause for peace, and it could be broken at any moment. Still, it was a pleasant night, and the cool breeze that permeated the thick foliage soon had Zilyx at ease, whistling a tune and walking nonchalantly.
Aylexia was sitting on a large rock her wings stretched out behind her. Her light pink hair glistened in the sunlight. Yawning she watched the waterfall that was a couple feet from where she sat. She only wore a simple white dress that stopped at her knees and had no shoes. Aylexia jumped slightly at the unknown noise she heard. Whistling? She thought glancing around, but saw nothing.
Zilyx stopped in his tracks as a faint noise disrupted his thinking process. Was that... a yawn? Zilyx stay still, shifting his feet lightly, breaking a few small twigs as he did so and cursing inwardly. Few citizens of the nearby cities ventured into the wilds, not with the guard's tendencies to lock the gates at night, and if the was another Hunter around, Zilyx would have felt it in his Markings. That left two options: Animal or Entity. Zilyx ruled out animals, because they didn't yawn... he thought. Yet an entity wouldn't just sit around and wait, especially if there was a Hunter nearby, right? They would attack, or feel alarmed... Zilyx shifted again, silently, and put his hands inside his jacket, each palm resting lightly on a hilt of a blade. If it was something threatening, Zilyx would not give them the chance to surprise him. He tensed, ready to dart towards the direction of the sound...
Ayelxia froze. Glancing around once more she stood folding her wings behind her. Where they after her? What kept making noises like someone was trying to sneak up on her. Hunters? She'd never seen one, but heard some go after demons or even fallen angels. She started to shake a little as these thoughts came through her mind.
Zilyx attacked. The green foliage melted into a blur as he picked up speed, his powers kicking in, making him faster. He grabbed a branch, pulled himself up, and began leaping from branch to branch, almost losing his footing several times, but as knew that in most cases, your prey never looks up. Which reminded him... where was his prey? He scanned the forest floor, and shook his head. This didn't make sense. They couldn't have- a flash of pink hair. He slowly slid to the ground and silently approached. It appeared to be a girl, but this was certainly the source of the sound. When did entities become pretty?Zilyx crouched, watching this... thing... with a mixture of fascination and confusion.
Aylexia kept her eyes sharp examining any and everthing she could though her eyes were not the greatest her hearing made up for it. She could sense another presence, but couldn't make out where or what it was. She couldn't fly away that be giving up her location and she'd become easy prey if whoever it was didn't see her yet, plus she hadn't quite got the hang of flying. She sighed lightly. "What am I to do?" She asked herself.
Making up his mind to attempt peace, Zilyx walked into the beings view, hands outstretched, a dagger in each one, "Don't attack, I'm not here to hurt you. You aren't my prey. The name's Zilyx Kayne, can you understand me?" Though calm and collected on the outside, inside zilyx was praying to whatever Gods there were that he hadn't misjudged this one and made the final mistake of his life.
Aylexia stood there having nothing to arm herself she didn't say anything for a moment after he introduced himself. She looking at him, "Who are you?" She asked in a shy tone. She tried her best to hide her wings under her long hair, but the wind didn't want to corporate with her.
