Alyana shook her head softly, "You idiot." She smiles to him. They arrived at the hospital and the two men took Jon into the operating room. She was told to wait outside of the room until they said it was okay for her to see him. She waited out side of the room as she watched Jon go in, "You'll be fine!" She called out him.

"Of course I'll be okay!" he replied, and winked at her just before the doors closed, but grimaced afterwards. "Oh great."

Alyana passed back and forth as she bit her bottom lip. Then suddenly she felt a hand touches her shoulder. She turned hoping to see the doctor but she saw Jake. "Jake! What are you doing here?"

"Why are you helping that man!?" He glared at Alyana.
"He's helping me on the case! So back off!" She narrowed her eyes at him then he grabs her arm. Pulling her close to him. "Let me go, Jake!" She growled coldly at him.
Jake narrowed his eyes into her own,"Listen to me Alyana. Jon is trouble for you! Don't fall for him! Just don't!"
"You aren't my father, Jake! So back off!" She pulled her arm away from him and walked away from him.

It took about several hours for the sugery. Finally the doctor came out and smiled to Alyana. Jake was still there watching what was happening.
She goes over to the Doctor. "Is he going to be okay?"
"Yes, he's going to make it. And yes you can go and see him. He's in the room 3." The doctor points to where the room.
"Thank you!" Alyana went straight for the room. She went inside and saw Jon there. "How are you feeling?" She walked over to him as she took his hand into her own. Not noticing Jake was coming right behind her.

Jon was just waking up, but still extremely dizzy due to the sedation. He tried talking, but his tongue wouldn't co-operate. With all the strength he could already muster, he managed to force a smile on his face, and nodded slightly. He was glad she was there.

Alyana smiled down at him as she took a seat on the chair beside the bed. She went to say something then Jake spoke.
"You are an idiot, Solaris! Why are you even helping this guy?" Jake spoke as he stood behind her as he glared down at Jon.
She turned to face Jake. "Jake shut up! Why do you care if I'm helping this guy!" She looked to Jon wanting to say that she liked the guy but in her eyes anyone could see that she started to have feelings for the guy.

Jon looked at Jake. Oh great, he's come along? He'd hoped he had stayed behind at the house. Wasn't he there to investigate? Why the hell was he even out here in the hospital? Because of Alyana? Jon - since it was the only thing he could do at the moment - gave him the same straight stared he'd given to that waitress this morning, only this time it was sincere.

Jake glared back at Jon,"Fine. I'll leave you love bird alone. But mark my words, Alyana, you will be hurt by him in the end. Any woman that fell for him has. And I don't wanna be the one cleaning up his mess." He turns and leaves the two alone.
Alyana shook her head and smiled down at Jon,"Don't listen to him. He's just being a jerk right now."

Jon smiled and relaxed again. Okay. he thought. He just wished he could project his thoughts some way or another now, but he couldn't.

Alyana smiled at him as she held her furry hand in his hand. As the hours went by she soon fell asleep with her hand in his. The doctor touched her shoulder gently. She lifted her head up and looked to the doctor.
"Visitings hours are over, Miss." He said calmly.
"I rather be here for him. Please." She looks at the doctor. The man nodded his head and left the two alone.

Jon had been awake the whole time. he shook his head when she refused to leave.
"You're stubborn, you know that?" It took some effort, but he was able to get the words to leave his mouth.

Alyana chuckled softly as she looks into his eyes,"And you aren't? You should get some rest, you know?" She smile softly to him, not noticing that she was still holding his hand.

Jon did notice, but he didn't pull back. Heb blushed slightly and nodded. "thanks." he closed his eyes and rested. It didn't take long for him to fall asleep, leaving his head to fall gently sidewards.

Alyana smiled as she watched Jon go to sleep. She aslo fell fast asleep and laid her head on top of his hand. The next day came and she gotten woken up by the nurse. "Miss, you really need to go home. We will keep an eye on him."
"I'm fine! Really." But her eyes were blood shot from staying up late and worrying about Jon.

The commotion woke up Jon as well. "Alyana, you really need some rest." he chimed in. "You heard the doctors, I'll be just fine." he smiled gently.

Alyana looked over to Jon and gave a slow nod of her head. She was tired and her back was killing her too. "Do you mind if I sleep in your apartment tonight?" Taking out her cell to call her friend that the met. She knew he didn't like going out in the daylight, but she had no ride to get out of this hospital

"Sure, go ahead." he replied with a nod and a smile.

Alyana giggled,"May I have a key to your apartment then?" She smirked softly to him.

"It's in my bag." he repleid. looking around a bit, he pointed out a black bag by the wall. "Over there."

Alyana smiled and leaned over kissing him on the cheek. She got up and walked over to the bag. She digged through and found his apartment keys. "Well I called my friend. He's coming to pick me up in his car. I'll come and check up on you tonight." She was planning on asking her friend for his car while she tried to find a new one. Since it got totaled in the crash.

"You can come check when you're rested up." he replied. "Now shoo, off you go!"
