"Good idea... I better see all of you there when it's time,DO NOT stay out too long" Ember would bark lightly, walking over to the Deeper Areas of the city, He was there for about an hour, The wolf gambled quite a bit, His luck wasn't Exactly The best and he lost most of his Gambling Chips, Good thing he didn't spend too much, less he go poor, Ember had plenty to spend, after winning a couple matches (And his credits back) A Female quinterran walked up to him, "Hey.. Sorry to interrupt you, I need your help, my Hover-Car's diesel engine broke down and I need someone to help me fix it..." Ember would get up, wagging his tail "Of course... Lead the way" They would walk outside and she would open the hood to her car "Right... Try not to let any fuel leak" Ember would walk towards the hood. Wait a minute, Hover-Cars dont have Diesel engines, Ember would just barely dodge a blade attack, as it grazed his shoulder, Ember would Responding by hitting her upside the snout, the battle was hard and Brutal, Ember was injured quite a bit, He barely prevailed, He waved down two Quinterran soldiers as he explained what happened, slowly patching himself up It appears that separatist spies have managed to Infiltrate the Deep cities...

((See ya tomorrow))

ORIN - A tiny, static beep announced the arrival of a childishly enthusiastic Spec-Ops when he opened the door. Some heads were lifted, eyes peered his way, but Orin confidentially dusted the glaring citizen off and soon enough, everyone returned to whatever they were doing. The blonde lupine walked over to the counter, where a young Yurus girl was taking orders. He glared at the menu, but realized he'd rather spend tokens on the greasy meals than to actually pay with his own money.
So he walked over to an empty stand, inserted some coins and picked up the revolver that was tied to the frame of the shooting stand. He flashed a smirk. Now he knew where a cheap chain like Saaron's got their stuff from. He let the expired and disarmed military pistol circulate around his index finger for a second, and then shot five buzzing blasts. Bulls-eye, every single one of them! So he wasn't getting rusty after all!
He reloaded, ignored the staring and kept on shooting. Man, how he loved this place!

ZAIDE - Soule's Club was a bustling but cramped place close to the city center. But their drinks were cheap and their ladies were pretty, and that was all he asked and needed. Drenched in booming colored lights, Zaide took another sip from his Black Quartz-cocktail, trying to enjoy the sweet but spicy taste it had. Meanwhile, some dancers were swinging temptingly on the counters, picking out men willing to pay for them one by one, like a hunter selected his prey.
Zaide knew he had to be wary; cheap ladies could mean nothing but trouble, he could end up sick or worse. So he trusted his sense of smell and his eyes, despite it being rather crowded and dark in here. When he finished his drink, he rubbed his knuckles for a bit and walked up to the counter, where an athletic but incredibly beautiful Velox was dancing around. Geez.. what a babe, and what a damned shame a girl like her ended up in a place like this. But he had to focus on their business, because she surely would do the same when..
"Enjoying the view, soldier?" she winked towards him. "Hmm.. I like those brave warriors like you.. How about, hm, 120 Units. Sounds like a deal?" 120 Units, and that was a discount. A lady of quality, then. Zaide ignored his sheepish smile and nodded, not even considering negotiating. He was too tired and time was his enemy, so after he helped the Velox off the counter and followed her to a room, he desperately tried to forget everything.

Oh damn.. what a babe. Zaide dug his head into the expensive and pointlessly over-decorated pillows and sighed. His green eyes, even more weary than they were at the beginning of the evening, glared at the Holo-Clock that was floating above the table on the other side of the room. Wait.. only two minutes left?!
"Shit!" he cussed under his breath. The dark furred Lycandros jumped out of the adorned bed immediately and went looking for his clothes, which was quite a tall order in a dimly lit room. After dressing up and attaching his rifle to his shoulder-pelt, he nodded to the Velox lady as some kind of hurried greeting, and then jumped out of the window. Second floor. No problem.
He landed on all fours and ran through the crowded streets towards the Saaron's, where he was supposed to meet the others. Damn. Two hours was way to short to properly enjoy yourself! He had to admit that he was surprised by the amount of clubs, stores and other enjoyable facilities in this area, as he had expected that Frostfall's towns would be as dull as its landscape.
And there it was. Zaide made a swerve to avoid a Hover-Car and ran towards the suspiciously empty parking lot in front of the shoot-and-food facility. No-one there. He grumbled and looked around. The Saaron's seemed to be closed, which wasn't surprising since it was already past midnight, but where was Orin? His teeny half-brother never visited a club before in his life and couldn't handle too much drinking. And what about Commander Kamura?

Ember quickly pulled into the parking lot hastily hopping out of the vehicle "Zaide, it's not safe here. An assassin just tried to jump me" Ember would seem worried, "Did anyone attempt to kill you?" The wolf would be putting his gear back on, ears perked up for anyone trying to sneak up on him, It was clear that the seperatists had Infiltrated the Quinterran citizens, and maybe even the military "We need to call Orin and get him over here NOW, it appears the enemy has infiltrated us."

ZAIDE - A seemingly ordinary Hover-Car pulled over right before his nose, but when Ember Kamura himself got out the car and informed him that the Separatists had infiltrated the town, Zaide knew there was nothing normal about. He didn't even bother asking where the hell his Commander got the chrome polished, close-to-priceless vehicle from. Stealing a car wasn't an actual impressive feat, but it came in handy every now and then. And especially now.
Taking out his handheld, semi-waterproof Communicator, Zaide switched to Orin's channel, hearing nothing audible at first but after a creaking bump on the other side caught his attention, he decided to actually get into contact with his sibling.
"Orin," he hissed over the Communicator, ".. Orin, do you copy? State your location, over.." He awaited an answer that never came. Damn it! After trying to reach out to his brother again and again, he finally turned to his Commander and grumbled: "He's got his Communicator on him, but he's unresponsive. Do these Com's have trackers built in?" They had a pretty neat car, so if it were to end in a chase, there wouldn't be a problem.

ORIN - Sweat and piss. Those were the first things he smelled when he woke up again. Rocking back and forth in the Hover-Van's cramped trunk, Orin didn't even realize at first that he'd been taken. But when he tried to get up and wanted to use his hands as support, he immediately noticed that his hands were tied behind his back with some kind of nano-fiber rope and a creative and incredibly tough knot.
Oh All-Father... He coughed and wheezed when the cradling rolled him towards a rag, drenched in urine, for some unknown reason. The Lycandros struggled to get onto his knees, but when he finally did, he carefully peeked into the Van itself, not recognizing the fat Yurus that was driving it. His pelt was greasy and ginger, and his dark mane were tied into a messy ponytail. Overall, he was gross, and even worse, unknown, which made this whole kidnapping even more confusing. Orin barely remembered taking a walk around Saaron's to get the scent of blast vapor out of his muzzle, and he certainly didn't recall being disarmed and taken by some kind of greasy hound!
"Where the hell are you taking me?" he growled, failing to sound intimidating. The Yurus didn't respond and kept on driving. Grumbling, Orin rolled back into the back of the trunk and with a little stretching and stumbling, he got the inspect the messy yet skillful knot on his wrists.

Ember would bark "They do, though we also have an IFF chip installed in their paw" Ember would look around before walking to his vehicle "Hop in...." Ember would hand out a heavy machine gun "Take this, It's calibrated for Damaging Anti-Gravity,, aim for under the vehicle" Ember would pull out a Small Datapad, it flicked on as it showed a map of the city and it's surroundings, A red blip appeared as ember would slowly pull out of the parking lot, He would reach for his communicator "We need all units to Seal all city Exits and entrances, make sure nothing gets in or out" Ember would crank up the vehicle and quickly drive towards the red dot

ORIN - Time for some monkey business - literally. Keeping an eye on the driver, who was either too bored or way too focused on the suave elektro-jazz on his headphones to even pay attention to his hostage, Orin slowly took off his left boot, careful not to let the metal plates on his shin make any unnecessary noises that would result into a failed escape. After some quiet wrestling with his footwear, the athletic young canine brought his foot to his wrists and carefully untied the tough knot with his sturdy claw, ignoring the smell, of course. His last bath had been been ages ago.
One last yank and.. finally! The rope dropped at his feet, and Orin sighed relief. Rubbing his sore wrists, the Lycandros put on his boot and crept up to the obese Yurus. Alright, just snap his neck and take the wheel before-..
"W-what the hell?!" the tubby squeaked in a high-pitched voice. Right, the Yurus and their weird feminine males.. Orin elbowed the guy against his temple, then grabbing his neck and with a simple slam against the silver steering wheel, the fat hound was knocked out in no time.
Oh man, he still had it! Now all he had to do was.. err.. In hasty panic, the lupine soldier opened the door next to the driver's seat and threw the driver out; a fat slap was heard when the chubby ginger hit the sidewalk, his soft belly breaking the fall and eventually saving his muzzle from being smashed to bits. Good. After all, this smelly fella was just doing his job, even though he worked for the enemy. Orin sat down on the greasy chair, ignoring the sweaty marks and questionable crumbs and barely managed to dodge a street light, almost hitting a unsuspecting citizen in the process.
"Geez, sorry!" he yelled, but the Van was moving too fast and he already had to take the next right if he didn't want to collide with a demonstration crowd. Damn, what was happening over there? He sure hoped those weren't Separatists in the making...

ZAIDE - A sluggish Hover-Van covered in chipped, yellow paint was blocking their path. But when Zaide glanced at Commander Kamura's Datapad, he realized that this was the vehicle Orin was being held in. Damn it! No way that bucket 'o bolts was slipping through their fingers! His brotherly aggression and bellicose emotions overthrew his common sense and he immediately pulled out the Anti-Gravity rifle and shot between the frontal Hoverpads, launching the rusty Van into the air.
In a split-second, when the driver flashed by, barely visible through the colored glass, Zaide suddenly came to realize that it was Orin who was driving the Van, and that there was no villain to be seen. What.. what the hell? Zaide knew his little brother damned well, and he sure as hell knew that he would never spend his evening in a write-off piece of-..
Crash! The waste of metal hit the ground after making a perfect flip. Shards of glass and chunks of pavement were thrown into the air, followed by smoke and ice blue embers coming from the engine and broken Holopads. Shit!
The dark furred Lycandros turned to his Commander, trying not to show his panic and remorse. "Commander, pull over, Orin's in the Van!"
Ember Kamura (played by Ember_Wolf) Topic Starter

Ember would stop the car quickly. running over to the van and ripping the door off with his paw, Ember had his rifle in his paw, as he scanned his surroundings for any hostiles, Ember would grab orin by the paw and bringing him to the van "You okay? That was quite a hit wasn't it?" Ember would close the door and hop in his vehicle "We need to get back to the base, Highcom needs to be aware of the danger" Ember would step on it, with all 3 of them in the car they sped off towards blizzard base "Orin, ready that rifle in case we have pursuers" ((So now that all 3 of us are in the car, we can go back to the base)) "It appears they wanted to kidnap Zaide, most likely in an attempt to force a surrender..."

ZAIDE - They pulled over and Zaide got out hastily, making a dash for the overturned Hover-Van and breaking the window with a simple but effective kick against the already shattered glass. It took a while, but once his half-brother wiped the fragments and dust of his uniform, he actually got out himself and followed Commander Kamura - who apparently assumed Orin had it worse and needed more assistance - back to their nearly pristine Hover-Car.
Right. Back to business, but it wasn't easy to deny that this could've ended much worse than it did. Zaide got into the car as well, taking the seat next to the driver's, and for a moment, he glared at the back-seat, where his blonde sibling was desperately looking for a rag to clean his slightly bloodied muzzle with. When he noticed that he brother was staring at him with a teasingly furrowed brow, he shrugged impatiently and mumbled: "So you're gonna let me spoil the neat interior or what?" His hand made an annoyed gesture, and it turned out that there wasn't so much blood after all. Zaide scoffed.
"Ah c'mon prince, it's just a nosebleed or somethin'. And what's wrong with becoming a little uglier, right? It's fashionable these days," he said with an extra sassy wink. His younger sib' made another growling noise. "You're one heck of a fashion queen, then.." Nothing like a little bro-to-bro teasing on a day - hell, night - like this.

ORIN - "Orin, ready that rifle in case we have pursuers. It appears they wanted to kidnap Zaide, most likely in an attempt to force a surrender..." Commander Kamura ordered them. The two of them almost simultaneously made a confused grunt.
"It's the other way 'round, Commander," Zaide smirked. Orin rolled his golden eyes and elbowed his front-seat possessing brother in his ribs. "Shut up man, it was a long day for Kamura too," he hissed back, his face warped into a frown. "What's with the salt, lil' man?" Too late.
Loud humming noises indicated that two other vehicles weren't far behind them, and when Orin poked his head out of the window to take a better look at their pursuers, he barely managed to dodge a blast fired at his face. It left a scorching, painful mark on his ear, but he suppressed a yelp.
"Swallow the attitude and get that darned gun out!" he snapped at his brother. A sigh, but he finally listened. The dark brown Lycandros pulled out a fascinating Anti-Gravity rifle and with two plain shots between the Hover-Cars' frontal 'Pads, the chase was over. That easy. Orin leaned back a bit, enjoying that fact that he, again, could add another situation in which firearms bested melee to his list, just in case Zaide wanted to continue their never-ending argument about it.

Ember would growl, they had finally made it back to the base, Ember would hold out his card to the gate guard who waved him through. they would run to the command center as ember quickly walked up to the defense commander "Spies have infiltrated the city, Tried to kill me and Kidnap Zaide" Ember would hold his rifle "They must be based out of that command center, We need to destroy it while we have the chance" Ember would wag his tail lightly "Get Blizzard Squadron ready" Ember would look towards the gunfire in the distance, The wolf would quickly pull up a map, Showing images of several nearby ODPGs (Orbital Defense Platform Generators) "Aw hell.... they're targeting our MAC stations" Ember would show images of the orbital defense grid, massive stations shelling Seperatist ships "These are Orbital defense platforms, all that's preventing a total planetary invasion, The seperatists have slipped through already, but God help us if they break their Entire fleet past" hearing a announcement over the city PA "Achtung alle Bürger, Urteils Verzicht jetzt in Kraft, alle Bürger sollen bis auf weiteres in ihren Häusern bleiben und sich auf eine sofortige Schmuggel Suche vorbereiten" the voice said "Judgement waiver?" Ember replied, "Must be worse than we thought, We need to attack that base and stop them, NOW"

(( A little note since this is the second time you said it: no-one tried to kidnap Zaide. Orin was the one who was taken away in the Hover-Van. Zaide is the grumpy dark one, Orin is the dreamy blonde one! ))

((Oh, right, just assume I said that right))

ORIN - They drove past the wreckage of Cu'Madr, and although the battle felt like ages ago - strange how time warped on missions with such diversity -, Orin couldn't help but stare at the massive pile of steel, intestines and old blood. Their victory was as impressive as it was baffling. No-one would've guessed that a tiny squadron consisting of three Spec-Ops and a flock of rookies were able to take out a genetically engineered tank in a dogfight that barely lasted half an hour.
The Darkwolf Legion was invincible, it turned out again, which made Orin secretly anxious about the semi-peaceful relationship between them and the Lycandros Republic. As much as he loved his homeworld and species, he knew that the new PD (Planetary Director) was no good. His nationalistic, somewhat narrow-minded view on the galaxy would set off the Darkwolf Emperor sooner or later, and that was when he and Zaide were to choose a side. But for now, he prayed that PD Horzman would keep his mouth shut until these Separatists were dealt with.
With the end of his worrying, they arrived at the Frostfall Outpost - finally, his backside was getting sore - and parked the magnificent Hover-Car in the hangar. The contrast between the burly, battered battleships and the polished, sophisticated civilian vehicle was kinda hilarious, Orin thought as they walked into the Control Chamber where the local Defense Commander was apparently awaiting their return. Strange, how could he know about the uproar downtown? Orin sat down in a metal seat in a corner and waiting until Commander Kamura was done talking, listening to the foreign announcement booming from the intercom, only to realize later on that this was meant for the town's citizen. When the two officers where done talking, the blonde canine got up again, wiped the blood from his nose on his sleeve one last time and followed his brother to the hangar. Time to move out.

ZAIDE - "I saw that you were paying close attention to Commander Kamura's conversation with that Defensive fella. Never guessed you'd be interested in military talks," Orin said to him as they walked down the hallway to the bay. Zaide didn't respond at first, not sure if this was worth responding too anyway, but after a while of remaining silent, he gave his brother a dull glance. "Ya want me to be honest, Orin?" he growled, his bushy dark tail making a slightly agitated swish. "I think there's a rat on this team, or, well, Legion. From the moment we set foot on this damned ball of ice, things seemed out of place. Sure, sure, that plan of yours was brilliant, but Cu'Madr was turned out to be piece of cake. And yet Rynths claimed that the Outpost had been in the line of fire for about three days until we arrived." His notched ear twitched, but after a quick look around he concluded no-one was dogging their steps. No eavesdropping snitches to worry about. "Something's out of place. It's like those foxes didn't even try to look for a weak spot or anything. Maybe they're in with the Separatists too.." The siblings took a turn left, away from the hangar, and stopped close to the Outpost's depot. Zaide groped around his pockets and pulled out a Datachip, glossing lightly when he held it in the light. "This chip contains some other evidence: the gunship never reported to Blizzard Base that they were taking a detour to the nearby town. However, they did send a notification to another unknown address.."
With every word that left his mouth, the dark Lycandros saw his brother's face frowning deeper and deeper. He didn't believe a word of what he was saying, obviously, but it was because he wasn't listening.
"We need to tell Commander Kamura about this and-.." Such a naive cub he was. "No." The furrow on His Blondiness face vanished, and a flabbergasted grimace took its place. "Don't tell me you don't trust your own Commander." Damn, he was so slow on the uptake. "Just because I don't like him a lot doesn't mean I don't trust him, Orin. This just isn't the place to tell him what I've seen. Besides, we can't use any terminals in the base, since that'll cast suspicion on us." Footsteps caught his attention. Oh hell no!

Ember would slowly walk up to the group, growling lightly "I suspect it too.... Yet you don't trust me?" Ember would growl "We're going to raid that place in 10 minutes, get your vehicles ready" The wolf would walk off, talking to some of the base personnel before walking back "Blizzard squadron is ready for takeoff, We're going to attack the enemy base before they try and take down the ODPs" Ember would look towards the aircraft prepairing to take off, ember would hop in one as the hangar door slid open, allowing the fighters to take off

((Woof))

ZAIDE - The Lycandros soldier turned his head towards Commander Kamura, who approached them with a light grimace. "I suspect it too.... Yet you don't trust me?" he growled, and Zaide twitched an ear in frustration. Yeah, this was exactly why he wasn't very fond of his leading officer; he either had a smart-as-hell source who whispered everyone's secrets into his ear, or worse, he couldn't just keep his muzzle of out one another's business.
"Yeah, I think it's quite sane not to trust anyone eavesdropping on your conversations," the dark furred lupine snarled, but his Commander had already continued talking and informed the two of them that the final raid on the Separatist Base would begin in 10 minutes. Zaide sighed and set aside his anger, saving it for a later fight that might or might not occur after the siege. Like he had stated before, he still trusted this Darkwolf, despite not liking his demeanor. Once the rebels on Frostfall had been dealt with, they would sort things out, his way..

ORIN - He wasn't too sure if he could feel safe around his brother anymore. As Orin and Zaide walked down the hallway towards the bay, the blonde canine couldn't help glancing at his older sibling every now and then. He felt like Zaide was enjoying himself and hating this job at the same time, or more specifically, hating being bossed around. Orin wasn't much for that either, but he knew that they were in good hands and that Kamura was a honorable man. Why his half-brother failed to realize that, was still a mystery to him.
When they entered the hangar, most of the Blizzard Units were already activated; the consistent buzzing of their engines overruled most of the voices and other noises in the bay. Orin walked over to Kamura's vehicle and hopped on, manning the second seat controlling the canons, as he had done before.
In the corner of his golden eye, he saw Zaide and his Quinterran comrade boarding a newer version of a Snowfighter, which still had glossing metal plates and a clean windscreen. That lucky bastard.. After the vehicles were identified and assigned to The Blizzard Squadron, they took off, flying into the freezing darkness that Frostfall had become.
