And they did. There was a difference between renting a room and buying food. Women did have right there. They had freedom about the city and could buy almost anything and even have their own land if they were widows, but simple renting was a no.
Ameer walked quietly down the hall way and nearly ran onto a woman..in armor? " Oh! im so sorry mi lady!" he said he had a voice like velvet kind and soft, and his eyes the color of gold where kind.
Anora stumbled back in surprise when the man ram into her. When he apologized for his wrong doing, she knew she couldn't get angry with him. "Tis all right, Sir. Just watch where you are going next time." She bow her head with respect to the man. When she lifted her head up, she saw the look in his eyes were kind. Felt her cheeks burn slightly then quickly moved passed him and went downstairs to eat.
"What would you like this evening, bona femina?" the attendant asked politely.
Ameer sighed , and then realized he was hungry. so he quickly whent to his room. and pulled off the cape and hood folding them on his bed and hid his small bag under it. he was glad he had left his silver crown in his bag. then pulling his hair back slightly he sighed ~ alright prince, just stay calm and hope nobody realizes who you are. His family was quite well known even in a city like this. Turning he headded out of the room useing the key to lock the door and head down the steps
Anora looks up at the attendant, "Yes, I'll like to have the cook's special." She smiled softly rather happy that someone was being nice to her for a change. Her eyes traveled over to each and every person to see them staring at her. Quickly looked away, wishing she had something to read in front of her face. Since she didn't she just looked down at the table in front of her, trying not to look at anyone. She heard whispers and mumbles behind her back at the people sitting at the table behind her.
" would you like some company?" Ameer's voice asked from behind her. the prince walk to the near by chair and smiled " if you would be more than happy to sit you you" he said
Anora lifted her head up when she heard another voice speaking to her. She looks to see it was the man she ran into while she was going downstairs. "Um, sure." Motion for him to have a seat across from her. "I don't mind the company."
He smiled and sat down " Thanks, its nice to see there's other women in the world that not afrad to fight" he said with a smile " i got a friend that's a female knight" he said with a smile.
The clerk nodded and went into the kitchen. A few minutes later, the man returned and served Anora a plate of fresh fruits and cooked lamb meat with a side of goat cheese
Anora nods a thank you to the clerk and began to eat calmly. She look over to the man and gave a soft smile, "Yeah..I was raised by my father so I only know how to fight really." She looked over to the door to see it open and few royal soldiers enter the Inn. "I hope they aren't here to make trouble." She whispered softly to herself.
Ameer crused silantly and looked down, hopeing they did not reconize him.. he had viseted here before and most knew who he was, he just dident want anyone to know he was here
Anora look over to the Prince rather confused as to why he cursed out loud, "I take it you aren't popular here?" Not realizing she was speaking to the Prince, since she wasn't from around here and being on the travels for so long. She hardly looked into the latest info on what was going on.
" Oh no its not that" he said quietly " im not from here.. they know who i am but i dont want people to know im here" he said quietly looking at her with his golden eyes
Anora looked at the Prince rather confused, "If you aren't from here then how do they know who you are?" She looked at his golden eyes but quickly looked away down at her food. Eating calmly as possible to hide the face her cheeks were turning red.
The prince sighed softly " becuse i viset here every now and then.. but im from the kingdom just a mile from here" he said glanceing around. he pulled his family crest from his shirt " please dont make a big deal of it.. you a knight so i trust you" he said still keeping a low tone in his voice
Anora place her fork down and saw the family crest as he pulled it out of his shirt. "Wait.." Her eyes widen in surprise as she looks to his face. She whispered to him, "You are a prince!" She was doing her best to keep her voice down. "This is perfect! My men and I can finally stop searching!"
" Keep your vice down please!.. why are you looking for a prince?" he asked her
Anora winced as she looks around to see if anyone caught her words. When no one was looking, she turn her attention back to the Prince, "Actually, I am. I'm suppose to find any Prince and bring him back to my kingdom. The King's daughter is getting married and I'm here to find a Prince to him back to the Kingdom."
Ameer blinked " what? what do you mean im not understanding... I need to be heading home, im the other family my father has left.. and his only hair" he said still keeping a low tone
