I sit at the fire, watching it crackle and pop. I look at the road, some merchants were crossing to the Kingdom of the Wood. A beautiful, yet powerful kingdom that was famous for it's unusual plants and animals. It is also home to different races, one f the only kingdom's to accept other races. I was on my way, but had to stop once more; there was still at least a day to travel there. I look around in the forest I am currently setting camp in. It's gloomy blue colors and cool, clear feel was very... Unique. This was one of my favorite forests. I fall to the ground, into a pile of leaves and sleep.
I awaken back up and stretch as I yawn. I get up and spread the black ashes on the ground. I get to walking and finally arrive at the kingdom. I look into it and already see what people were talking about. There were large Venus Fly-Trap's, vines that held the castle walls together and a tree at the top of the castle that had a weird dragon-like thing flying over it. Before entering, I walk around until I find an Inn to shift in.

Sitting in the middle of the tavern, Dylan was observing. He is bored and would rather not be here. He's rather be running through the woods or city, hunting people down and killing them. He's rather bed getting paid. But here he is. Sitting and waiting for something interesting to happen.
Lyra cautiously stepped into the tavern, her bushy tail flicking to show her discomfort. She didn’t like enclosed spaces much. There was no where to run. She would much rather be out in the forest. She forced herself to take a seat and smile at the other humanoids that were there.
I was able to shift in a place called the Rusted Anchor. I come out as a red hair'd girl with piercing blue eyes in a white sun dress. Some people stare but I laugh and walk out and go to the closest tavern I could find. It was a warm, fire lit place with many people in it. There was a bar with two bar tenders and 5 stools. Against the wall on the left was 4 tables and a corner booth with people in them all. A bard was singing a song about dragons, two men were arm wrestling and their was one booth still open. The second to the door had a bowl of sugar and another of what looks like Dragon cayenne. I sit at the table and listen to the bard as I observe the people in it.

The Kingdom of Wood had its fair share of inns and taverns, it seemed, but of all alehouses and gambling dens, The Rusted Anchor was the most bustling of them all. As it was built outside the castle walls, it attracted quite some people of interest, ranging from streetwise locals to potential ruffians passing through. Of course, that was not why Randle had come here all the way from the sloppy hostel downtown, no, instead of running after thugs, he went to see an old friend.
"Well then, here goes nothing," Randle said to himself, opening the door with one hand. His strong senses were immediately swamped by the scents of cheap food, spiced wine and a lot of ale. This was how an inn was supposed to smell alright. When he stepped into the warm, dimly lit room, he could already see Vadr's bearded face smile at him from behind the counter. The guy was just pouring a guest another ale - one of many, judging from the fact that the guy reeked of alcohol -, and put his hairy hand in the air when he recognized him.
"Randle, ye 'ol swabbey! How're doin'?" While the guest at the counter haplessly chucked his ale, Randle made his way through the crammed room and gave his pal a firm handshake.
"Same old, same old, Vadr," the Husk smirked. "Nice place you got here, but a little too tidy for a guy like you, don't ya think?" The heavy drinker next to him made a weird, scoffing-like noise, but Vadr decided not to pay any attention to the guy.
"Nah, I ain't the owner. 'Tis some fiery lass' inn, but she ain't around t'day. So why not throw a party?" The bartender groped under the counter and pulled out a bottle of mead. "But that's not why ye're here, right?" The tone in his voice had softened and the hairy human bend over the counter for a bit. Sure, he was a pirate back in his day, and a nasty one too, but even though the guy never properly learned to act like a normal citizen, he did have some gray matter between his ears. More than he knew.
"Got any non-regulars here today? People of interest?" These days, anything would satisfy his lust for adventure. He wanted to be up and about again, maybe even find himself a partner or another associate. Anything and anyone would do. Vigr took a sip from the bottle and scratched his hairy chin. Then, he looked round, and one side of his mouth curled up a bit.
"Three, in fact. There's 'tis fair redhead with piercin' blue eyes, a grim lookin' fox-tail 'nd a wolflass. Check them out if ya want." Randle looked over his shoulder, his silver eyes scanning the tavern. Three out-o-ordinaries. This should be interesting.
((OMG SKYRIM YAAAAAASSSSSSSSS))
I place my arm upon the table and rest my head. I notice chatter at the bar and walk over there. I sit down and ask for a mead. "Aye, what brings you? Same reason as I maybe? This kingdom is truly beautiful..." I take a sip from the cup and smile looking at the men. I take a seat and drink the whole cup down, it was a long trip after all. I grunt a little, trying not to be rude and burp and say, "Ah, never the mind. I saw you looking around. What interests you?" I put the cup down, motioning for more. The bar tender fills it and I drink until my stomach could not hold another sip.

At this point, Raed was well and thoroughly sloshed and seemed to be dozing there at the bar. She listened in on the one bartender's chatter, sliding her face sideways to look at this newcomer and then turning in an attempt to see the people described. Minus the fox-tailed one. He'd been around when she'd got in and she scoffed when the barkeep mentioned him. "Grim'ssa word. Creepsy 's better...." She struggled spitting that last word out, but once she had, she leaned back against the bar. "Avoided him, for shure. Juss somefin' a bit offa 'bout 'im."
Which was saying something, considering the sheer number of strange peoples she'd seen since coming here.
"Hheyy, 'mere a sec," Raed motioned to the cat-man, a bit too casual for being a complete stranger. "I gotta ask-- you ever take bounnies? Uh... juss askin' for a friend."

Speak of the devil. A red-haired human, young-adult of age, approached the two of them in quite a confident pace. She ordered a mead, and while Vadr winked at Randle, he put a richly filled cup on the wooden counter. Alright, she surely had panache.
"Aye, what brings you? Same reason as I maybe? This kingdom is truly beautiful..." she said, sipping some of the mead the ex-pirate had poured her. Before Randle could even answer, the girl sat down on one of the creaky stools and downed the whole cup. Well, bottoms up then. "Ah, never the mind. I saw you looking around. What interests you?"
Another mead was ordered. Who was this gal anyway? Randle had spend his fair share of hours in taverns, but never before he had encountered such a parched girl. Maybe he had to start talking before she drank herself to oblivion.
"Word is that interesting people offer interesting work. And I'm just a guy looking for a way to get off my lazy backside." In the corner of his eye, Vadr also poured him a mead, and regarding the spicy smell, quite a strong one too. What, was that thug trying to set him up? That wasn't going to work, not at all.
Suddenly, the heavy drinker lift her head and started to speak in a way she was kind of understandable.
"Hheyy, 'mere a sec. I gotta ask-- you ever take bounnies? Uh... juss askin' for a friend." she lisped. That was what a hell-load of bottles sounded like. And not the mention the smell.
"Err, yeah.. I did a few cases in my day, if that counts," Randle said a little puzzled. What was her deal?
"Oh my God this stuff is amazing..." I whisper to myself as I order another. "The bottle please." I say with a smirk across my face. I grab it as he hands it and drinks a little bit at a time. "Haha, sounds like a fine thing, " I pat him on the back and continue, "If you find any let me know my friend!" I drink more and put the bottle down once finished and stop for good. I place my hand upon my stomach, "Should've stopped after two..." I groan as I drink a little more. I then place a pouch of 50 gold down to pay for it all.
Dylan looks up, ears perked hearing his description. He growls under his breath as he is earned to be stayed away from. He has always been resented for his looks so it's normal. It doesn't mean he likes it. A sadistic smirk spreads across his face as images of slicing that rude piece of crap apart form in his head.
Listening to THEIR conversation, he rests his head on his interlocked hands. Smirking wider he listens closely. Wanting all the information he could get.

Dylan stands up, stretching. He walks over to the cat person and his friend and sits down. "I do bounties. Depends on the bounty and the pay but I do them. What'cha need? I do all kinds."
His smirk turns into a friendly smile, as his threatening demeanor heightens, but not for anyone here. His smile is sick and crooked, with no sense of security or sanity.

Seeing the fox man walk over to the table, Lyra wandered over too, listening to their conversation. She ordered a drink while she was waiting, ears slanted in their direction.
((Sorry it's short))

Looking at the girl leave he shrugs, not really caring. Waiting for a response he, he locks his fingers together, rests his elbows on the table, and then puts his head gently on top of her interlocked fingers. Looking at him patiently for a response.
((Computer died))
I stop for a moment. I had drank too much to quick. I rushed outside and into one of the barrels I puked up everything I had eaten today. "Ughh..." I walk back in wiping my mouth. "Ok... No matter what I say, so not give me any more mead." I tell the man at the bar with a serious look on my face. I sit back down and play around with a coin. "Any of you from here?" I ask the men at the bar, trying to start a small talk to distract me from drinking or eating anything. I look around and notice the bard is playing a flute with another man playing a lute. "Beautiful..." I hushly say to myself.

All of a sudden, the fox-tailed man walked up to the bar as well. There was something about him. About the way he walked, the way he looked at people. And his smirk was exactly hiding his intentions nor past.
"I do bounties. Depends on the bounty and the pay but I do them. What'cha need? I do all kinds." Did he have a criminal record? Did this city even record their criminals to begin with? Randle was about to answer when the girl suddenly got up and rushed outside, only to return looking rather sick. Oh dear..
"Ughh..." she groaned. "Ok... No matter what I say, so not give me any more mead." That was a rather sober thing to say for a gal that drunk. She picked up a coin from the bar and started toying with it. "Any of you from here?"
Strong mead indeed. Randle took another sip and scratched the wooden counter with his metal claw. He then turned to the fox-tailed man again, who was still looking at him patiently. The sleuth didn't like him, not one bit.
"You look like the kind of man who'll kill his own wife over a few coins," Randle grumbled, his eyes pinched. "But sometimes a ruffian is just what people need." After all, without villains, his career as homicide detective would be over in a split-second. He could revert to the occasional missing-person-cases, but those were never as rewarding as bringing a cold-blooded maniac to justice.
"Now, I trust we're all looking for a job, right? Why not team up?" He couldn't help but glance at the fox-tailed man. A young wolfish creature had appeared next to him, looking at the collection of strangers at the bar.
I look up and see who the cat was talking to. "Damn, he's right." I laugh slightly and the frown. With the way he looked, I was thinking he was a criminal, but I know not to judge to soon. I put my coin back into my satchel and itch behind my ear. I look down and say nothing more, not wanting to cause any trouble. I feel the wood on the bar and admire it. It is much more finer than the Kingdom of Rhine. This place really is the prize! No racism towards other races, clean streets, mighty fine wood. This place has it all. I look back up and just admire more of this place. The chandeliers of goat horns and rooms with doors open so I could see inside. One room I could see was very well kept, it had a dresser and a bed with a fur pelt on it. The room was better than a house in Rhine! "Wow." I simply state, saying it out loud instead of in my mind.
If she were sober, the approach of the fox-tailed one would have resulted in pinched lips or turning pale and making excuses to slink elsewhere. Everything about the man reeked of uncontrolled malice, which, while great for any murderer worth their breath, was terrible for someone like Raed. She'd always preferred less deadly ways to earn a meal.
But here he was, also talking of bounties, and Raed had already opened her mouth so there was no backing out now.
"hhhYeah. 'm lookin' for a guy -- gonna post a poster if I can't fine 'im. Figure, take some odd jobs here for a bit t' listen an' poke around an' then I bump into him, or I don'. But need more people for summa these jobs. Talkin' monsters and stuff. Don' fight monsters alone... 's recipes for disaster."
When the redhead returned, Raed tilted her head like a dog. "Hey, Ginger, you okay? Y'should eat somethin' so iss not just booze sloshin' 'round in your belly."
((Sorry, I'm not quite so fast at posting. ))

I turn to the woman behind me, "Ah, yeah, I am fine. It has been a while since I drank something." I smile and turn around fully, putting my arms on the table and listen to the conversation as much as I can.
((You're fine!))
((You're fine!))
Dylan chuckles slightly. "Over coin? No. I'd love her. You don't kill the ones you are for. You cherish them. My coin would be hers and hers would be mine. I found my wife already. She just refuses."
He is fully relaxed, not worried about a thing in the world. "Oh and I'd be OK with working with you. Just don't be too much of a burden. You'll regret it." His tone is rigid and sharp, unlike his calm and collected posture, implying he means every word. "I will eliminate any major problem. Oh, one more thing. No children are to be harmed. You harm a child," his calm posture ends at he sits up straight, leaning forward slightly, "and I'll end your life without the blink of an eye. I don't care if this child is the end of the world. Got me?" Dylan's voice is harsh and unforgiving, but soft, as not wanting someone around to hear.

I glance over and see him with a stern expression. I don't say anything, but wait for someone else to respond to him. I sit back and relax, I look up at the ceiling with my back arched up. After a second, my reflects punch my back in. I look around and enjoy the music some more. "So, you seem like a mercenary. I''m assuming you fight most of the time?" I say to the slightly enraged man sitting. I look him up and down, then look away as a fight breaks out. Two men who look rather strong are wrestling over something. I smile and start laughing, people are cheering them both on, some hoping for death as result. "Haha, my money's on the one in the bear pelt!" I say as he punches the other ones face. They both had beards, the one I am betting on has a black one and the other had a red one and wore bison pants with heavy boots. He looked like he was winning, but I didn't lose hope for the other one.
