Early 1600s
It was heavily raining in a small place called Rouen, France. The dry dirt was now turning into icky mud and there was patches of large puddles everywhere. Everyone was taking shelter in the small village that was just out of the castle. The castle was surrounded by a tall wall all around. The wall was made of boulders and mud. The wall was there to protect the castle.
Everyone in the village had took there good and things from outside and brought them in their homes. The villagers had small homes made of hay and wood. Their doors were all closed and the homes without doors had thick blankets for a door, protecting them from the cold and rain. Right now the whole kingdom looked like a lonely old place with no one outside.
The only people outside were the Kingdom Knights. They stand on top of the wall barrier and gave the castle extra protection from anything harmless. A total of twelve knights were standing on the wall. Three at the entrance, three on each side and three in the back. There was more knights inside by a giant trebuchet with a huge boulder in the cup of it in case anyone were to attack. The Knights all had heavy armour on, covering their entire bodies including their heads with a armoured helmet. The helmet had a large red feather coming out from the back and going down, looking much like a red ponytail. All of the knights looked the same except for the one in the middle of the three knights at the entrance wall.
That one was particularly small and shorter then the other knights standing beside it. No one could tell if the smaller person was male or female but everyone was guessing that the person was a male since it was so rare seeing a female in war as a knight. That person was also holding a sword in its left hand. It made people wonder who the person really was. The person looked so different from the other knights but that didn't matter. No one could really see the knights right now because of the rain storm.

(Can there be some kind of wormhole where I can bring in Doc or may I use my character Dmitri?)
((OOC: Either one of those characters are fine! There could be a wormhole where you could use Doc or you could just use Dmitri. It's your choice. ^.^))
In the center of the outlying village, there was suddenly a large flash of lightning, followed by a blaring light and a little shock wave that shook the houses around it.
Doc was there, kneeling for a moment, his body protectively covering a fox cub. The man stood up, wearing a black, military jacket and trench coat, combat boots, a gasmask very similar in appearance to the mask of a plague doctor and he wore several bandoliers around his shoulders, each with many apothecary satchels attached to it and those in turn filled with magazines for his AUG assault rifle.
"Ooooo~ what wonderful place is this?" he asked himself as the red light of his gasmask lenses moved over the ground and walls of the homes.

The knight in the middle, Rida, was the only one to spot the light from afar. The knight looks at the other knights, wondering if they saw it. They didn't seem to have because they were just standing there like they were before.
Rida gripped onto the sword tighter and started walking off to the steps leading her down the giant, protective wall.
"Where might you be going?" One of the knights asked Rida as he watched.
"Do not worry, I'll be back in a moment. Keep your guard up." Rida replied while walking down the steps, still wearing full armour so no one could see who the knight was.
Rida walked off into the village. Villagers looking at Rida as she walked by their houses. The knight had the sword on the side, holding it with one hand as Rida approached the mysterious man.

(Can they not hear her voice?)
Doc stood in the middle of the village and started humming to himself. The fox cub in his arms squirmed around, trying to get more protection from the rain in his arms.

((OOC: Yes, they can hear her voice. ^^))
Rida looked at the man through her armoured helmet. Rida would take her helmet off but it was raining heavily and she didn't feel like getting wet. She stood her distance from the man and looked at the tiny fox in his arms.
"Who might you be?" She said loudly to him, trying to make her voice sound strong and manly.

(So they know she's a woman?)
Doc looked over at Rida and the light from his lenses illuminated her face with red light, "I do not remember," he said, his German accent very thick, "But you may call me Doc. Where and when am I"

((OOC: Erm, The knights do. ))
Rida eyed the man suspiciously. "You are in Rouen, France. The year is 1600." She said. She didn't understand why he didn't know that much. She walked up closer to him to get a better look. She lifted her helmet off her head slowly with the hand that wasn't holding her sword. Her long blonde hair fell out and got wet instantly. Her hair was now glued with rain to her armour as she looked up at him with hazel eyes.
"...And that fox? Where did it come from?" She asked, looking at the fox.

"Oooo~ France is such an elegant country," he mused then clenched a fist, "I hate it!" he growled then his anger immediately dissipated, "Zee fox is my pet. You touch her and you will die a horrible death, madam knight."
((ooc: oooh medieval rp x333 I might pop in here at some point )
((OOC: Alright ))
Rida glared at the man, no longer paying attention to the fox. He insulted her country. Rida wanted to know why he had a strong hatred for France.
"May I say that--" She started explaining and then she was interrupted by a loud noise coming from the distance in front of them. It sounded like horses. A bunch of them. It sounded like thunder coming towards them but Rida knew very well that the sound was horses. She looked at the ground and saw tiny pebbles begin to bounce. She looked ahead and saw a bunch of men on horses with heavy armour, holding what looked like unlighted torches. Her eyes widened as a man on his horse quickly shot a flamed arrow with his bow at a villagers home. She was amazed how the flame did not disapear do to the rain. Suddenly, all she heard was people's screams.

Revanna had been in the tavern, drinking a glass of soft wine when he heard some peaople gathering at the window. The bang of Doc's arrival might have alarmed her, but she was deep in thoughts. She looked around to see almost half of the completely filled tavern staring out the window. Frowning, she made her way to the door and stepped out.
The young Cii'va was currently disguised. Her wings were dismissed at the moment - something only Cii'va can do, not angels, a useful trait to have when on missions - and she was cloaked in a gray mantle to hide her long gray hair and pointy ears. You never knew how humans reacted to her kind. Most would probably worship her, if they knew the tale of the cii'va, but others might think of her as a witch. She could have neither of those two, they'll both compromise her mission. She just stepped outside and leaned against the wall in the shadows. A man had appeared, obviously not from this era. She had seen some of his gear before, way in the future. Also, a knight had approached him.
She used her exceptional hearing and focused on the conversation, quickly frowning at the fact the man had just openly insulted the country this knight defended. Which wasn't a smart move. Just as she was considering interfering, she heard the thundering hooves. The knight heard them too, shortly after she did. She looked sideways and immediately saw them. Recognizing these wouldn't act friendly, she quickly hid and watched. She wanted to help the villagers but, wasn't allowed unless it was absolutely nessecary. She couldn't reveal her true form unless the town was under serious threat. She immediately thought it was, but she'd have to wait.
For now.

Rida watched in terror as the villagers home began to burn. Pretty soon the flame was going to spread and the village would be nothing but ash. Rida's eyes darted around while she thought of something to do. Her eyes landed on a young woman hiding and watching the action. The woman didn't look scared she looked like she was lost in thought. Rida shook her head, trying to focus on the real situation. She looked back at the man and in her thoughts, wished him luck and hope to get out alive before she put her helmet back on her head and charged at the crowd of men on horses with her sword in hand. Crowds of villagers were running the opposite direction, away from the horses and towards her. They pushed and shoved while she tried to make her way through the crowds. At one point, Rida fell down from a hard shove from a male villager. She fell on her knees and hands put still gripped onto her sword. She lifted her head up and looked around.
She saw the knights that she was standing on the wall with before already making an attack on their own horses. Other then her, they all had horses. She was nothing against all these men attacking them. The knights were gathering helpless villagers on the back of their horses, trying to save them as they attacked the men on horses. She estimated that everyone knew that the village was eventually going to burn down to the ground. The fire was already spreading so fast. Rida got back on her feet and instead of charging towards the men again, she ran towards the girl that was hiding.

Revanna scowled. It'd blow her cover, but she'd have to help. The village was indeed going to burn down if she didn't, and the knights themselves could use some hlpe of their own. Walking out in the middle of the street, she raised her hands to the side and kept them hovering around the same height as her shoulders. She closed her eyes as she spoke.
"Ignis, qui consumit, destruendam, indeficiens in nihilum." She lowered her hands firmly, and the fires in the village were immediately doused. She then pointed her arms forward.
"Alipedes de illis qui equitare te, eice onera vestra!" The horses that had carried the men attacking the village suddenly bucked and reared, throwing off their riders and disappearing into the night. After that, Revanna just stood there and watched the attackers for their next move.

Rida slowed her pace when she realized the fire suddenly went out. All was silent. No one moved. Rida stared at the homes that were just in flames a moment ago. She then darted her eyes at the attackers who were now on the ground, without their horses.
"Etre disparu!" A French knight said to the attackers while on his horse.
"Vous avez perdu!" Another said to the attackers.
The attackers could barely understand French but they knew what they were saying. "Stand up!" The captain of the attackers yelled to his men. They all stood up at once, still confused about where their horses went and how the flames suddenly disapeared. As if the men could tell what their captain was thinking, they all turned around and marched away from the village as the captain turned around and took one last glare at each of the knights and villagers and turned around aswell.
Rida stood there in shock and took off her helmet, having no need for it anymore. She looked over at the woman she was running too, remembering that she heard her mumble a few words but didn't understand much. She squinted her eyes at the woman while a whole bunch of thoughts raced through her mind at once.

Revanna sighed deeply as she eased into a more comfortable stance. She was glad she hadn't needed to kill any of the attackers. They planned an evil deed, but they were still human - and most of them were probably just following orders. Ignoring some staring people, she pulled the hood further over her head and walked back in the bar to retake her spot at the bar.
The knights helped the villagers they had gathered on their horses on the ground. The villagers already on the ground returned to their homes to help clean up the mess. Rida watched the woman walk back into the bar she was at earlier and decided to follow her. Rida walked casually to the bar and went inside, trying to look like she was minding her own business.
Rida saw a spot open beside the woman and decided to take it. Rida walked over to the spot and sat down in it, making herself comfortable.

Revanna sighed. "You saw it, didn't you?" she asked silently, so only Rida would hear her. "It's not every day a knight joins the commonfolk in the tavern."
