A LIST OF KNOWN
EXTRATERRESTRIAL LUPINE SPECIES

DARKWOLF - A medium-large canine originating from the Darkwolf Homeplanet. They were the first to venture into space to spread their culture and beliefs to the other planets, conquering them and adding them to their ever-growing Empire later on. The Darkwolves have a militaristic regime, believing that a powerful legion is the best method of defense. Due to their centuries of experience in warfare, Darkwolves are among the finest warriors in the galaxy, experts in both armed and unarmed combat.
Male Darkwolves are considerably larger and burlier than their female counterparts, with an average height of 5ft 11" and with a weight of 190lbs thanks to their muscle mass. It's being believed that both the Darkwolves and the Lycandros had a common ancestor, the Alpha Canine (feral wolf), but this has never been confirmed. Some Darkwolves grow thicker, colorful mane on their heads and necks, and dominant and purebreds also bear various markings on their black coat to express their power or authority.


LYCANDROS - A medium-large species of canines that hail from the metropolic planet of Lycandria. As this race is one of the few who are fully independent - but still an ally to the Darkwolf Empire -, most of them are strongly nationalistic and proud of their planet and species. Also known as 'The Lupine Apex', the Lycandros are one of the few lupine species left whose jaws are strong enough to fight with. But aside from that primal trait, there are also known for their strength, dexterity and craftsmanship.
The average male Lycandros is between 5ft 10" and 6ft and weigh 187 lbs to 198 lbs. Females are slightly smaller and leaner. Unlike most other species, Lycandros do not have hair. Their heads look like those of the Alpha Canine (feral wolf), with exception of their expressive eyes and faces and slightly larger skull. Their pelt colors are natural-based, but their markings and color palette are more elaborate than the original wolf's.


QUINTERRAN - A small, newly introduced local to Frostfall. Most Quinterrans have their roots in all sorts of planets, since their original homeworld, Firn 7, was destroyed by a huge meteor over a century ago. Now most of these foxen creatures make their home on other planets, especially the Darkwolf's and the northern part of Velox's, since the climate at some areas is very appealing to them. Quinterrans are renowned for their agility and stamina, but when not participating in any kind of combat or spying event, they are a very creative species as well.
An adult male Quinterran is around 4 ft 9" and weighs 99 lbs, females are about the same size but usually a little smaller. They're canines, but not as lupine as the rest; they mostly take after the extinct Gamma Canine (feral arctic fox): with small ears, a pointy muzzle and a thick, fluffy tail. All Quinterrans have a clear white pelt, but in some areas where seasons influence the climate, some of them shed this pelt in the spring and bear a brownish fur until it gets cold again.


VELOX - This medium species originates from the arid planet of Taronis. There were one of the first species conquered by the Darkwolf Empire and stayed quite loyal to their lupine allies until the Civil War broke out. Now the entire population of Velox in split into two: the ones who assist their original regime and those who joined the Seperatists, which caused some conflicts of its own among their tight-knit society. Despite living on a scorching rock in the outer territories, the Velox is highly intelligent and was the first species to discover and use maths, astrology, biology and other sciences to understand the world around them. Now they mostly play the part of scientist or army tactician.
Adult males are between 5 ft 4" and 5 ft 8" and weigh about 154 lbs, which the females being considerable smaller, around 4 inches on the average. Scholars believe that their ancient ancestor was the Labda Canine (feral jackal). The Velox have lean, athletic bodies with a short, bushy tail. Their pelt colors vary, but mostly are a mix of bronze, dark brown and cream.


YURUS - A large species from the jungle planet Yurazotl. They are the most recent addition to the Darkwolf Empire and are the first to actually declare war to their new regime. Despite being not being warriors at heart, the Yurus is a strongly nationalistic creature, like the Lycandros, and highly aggressive towards threats. They are expert at healing as their jungle provides them with all the herbs and medicinal toxins and minerals they need, and before the war started, they influenced and improved the healthcare in the Empire greatly.
An adult female - who are larger than the males, which is unique among canine species - is around 6 ft 4" tall and weighs only 165 lbs. Males are smaller and even lighter, and physically weaker - however, the species is dubbed weak by most other canines. They clearly take after the Omega Canine (feral maned wolf) and bear the same dark, long legs, short tail and large ears. Their pelt is mostly red or ginger, with black and cream markings scattered across their meager bodies.

Darkwolves are a Militaristic species, believing that a strong military is the best method of defense, darkwolves are VERY strong and are about 5'11 Though their height can vary depending on muscle size, Most weight up to 3`7 pounds due to their muscle, Females are not as strong, Darkwolves can Have Humanish Hair on the top of their head at times, Their fur is commonly black but can vary depending on environment, They are similar to the Common Black wolf, They also can have markings on their body, usually symbolizing power or authority.
