In the world of Iona, magic, for reasons unknown, has been outlawed for generations. This has caused anyone who has even the slightest bit of magic in them to be arrested and taken to the Arcane Tower located in the Forbidden Lands where they are then executed. In this world Muse A, a young princess (played by me), was one of these many people, was also captured. However, when she was first killed at a young age, they found out an astonishing gift she has: she is immortal. Now held against her will in the tower for many years to come, she has been killed almost daily in experiments just so the people could take her immortality for themselves.
After many years, she finally escapes them and, rather recklessly, now finds herself lost in an old forest know as the Hollows. This forest is the home of Muse B, AKA the Hollowed Man, who has lived for many lifetimes and many have been told about him; None of them good. Some say he is a devil in disguise who captures anyone who wanders into his forest where they are never seen again, while others say he would one day bring destruction to the world.
Muse A is rather surprised to see that he is actually a young and kind-hearted man who has known of her troubles for a long time. Now that they've met, Muse B changes her life forever as he allows her to live with him and experience the many things about life that she'd never got the chance to see before.
