On the surface, Canis Majoris is a happy, bustling country home to a hard working, determined population. People tend to get along as they're willing to work for it. Beautiful cities, numerous sites to see, and world class food, Canis Majoris is a popular place to visit even if its xenophobic nature is a bit of a turn off.
However, the current generation is blissfully unaware of the country's dark and bloody history. South of Caleah are some old ruins, even older than Caleah itself and underneath them hides the infamous Crimson Labyrinth, a vast network of underground tunnels. It appears the tunnels were built before Canis Majoris was even founded and their purpose has yet to be determined. Some believe they were built to house the honored dead, evidenced by the vast amounts of gold and jewelry with the scattered bones, others believe it as used as a prison or it was even home to an ancient, long dead civilization, but no one is for sure. Recently, rumors have begun circulating that a shadowy monster lurks deep within the tunnels, seemingly guarding something deeper in the tunnels, but what it might be is unknown.
Today, the Ross siblings had arrived along with a local priest to explore these ruins. The siblings had arrived in search of the final get required for Elijah's rite of passage, while Cain had arrived on the request of the locals to bless and purge the Crimson Labyrinth of this evil. You arrive at the Labyrinth for reasons unknown; perhaps your curious about the ruins or maybe you're a clergy member yourself, whatever your reasoning may be, you've found yourself with them.
What will happen to the group from here? Will you run into that shadowy monster or will you discover the secrets the ancients Majorians left behind? Or will you die like the rest of the explorers?
I'm looking for 2-3 people to join me in an expedition through the Crimson Labyrinth, a place filled to the brim with mystery and excitement. This will be an action-adventure with a bit of horror tossed in. Combat is likely, but it won't dominate the past. Humans, demons, elves, anthros, and furries are more than welcome to join. Please read through Canis Majoris to get an idea of what the country is like. Magic in Majoria is currently being rewritten, but it does exist, just don't go overboard or make yourself unbeatable with it. Patience is necessary when playing with me, I could respond right away or it'll be a week before I get to you. I need at least a paragraph per response, walls of text aren't required, but 2-3 lines won't cut it. Comment or PM me if this interests you.

Magic is fairly common. Players and NPCs important to the tale may have it. Mistborn.
Industrial revolution
A peaceful setting, but with a chance for small fights and struggles to break out on a very small scale.
Details: Freeform, adjustable length posts, long-term RP partner preferred.
I'm up for this. I have an arsenal of characters for possible use in this. Actually, I have one that would be perfect for being underground.

Thank you for the interest, but I don't think they'll fit in well with the RP. Sorry, but thanks again for the interest.
Interested. I got a couple of characters that could fit this RP. I'm gonna propose the characters based on what I think will fit least to greatest.
Auren Corvelon Aldori: Long name, I know. This character is really just a dhampir duelist from Pathfinder, really. Vetala-born, so he can have childlike qualities. He also follows the Aldori Swordlord tradition. All in all, the only thing going for him here in my opinion is that he's a dhampir.
Varen Dominal: Oh, Lord. This is the better guy, in my opinion. I practically wrote him will listening to creepy music. Anyways, he's a human, of course. His profession is shadowmancy. I gave him lots of plot hooks, and he can even converse with shadows, or his creepy shadow companion, Elyzia. (She has a plot hook as well...) Really, he's almost like a detective for the darkness. I made him with the concept of being a mediator of sorts between human and nightmares, though.
I hope either one of these two characters will fit your RP. Thanks for reading through this wall of text, and if you don't approve of either of these two characters, then oh, well. I still wish you luck with the RP.

I don't see how it wouldn't fit, but ok. I guess you just want a very specific type of character that you neglected to mention. If you wanna be picky then specify so no one wastes their time.

I'm curious about the second character you. Shoot me a PM, I'd love to hear more about it!

1. Neither the undead nor man-eating exist within Majoria, necromancy doesn't exist either. So, Beth wouldn't fit in there.
2. Both Cain and the Ross siblings are highly religious, both of their religions advise against the practice of eating people. While I'm not expecting the characters to get along perfectly, I don't want them butting heads constantly. They're likely to do so with Terry.
3. I know I wasn't too specific on what I was looking for, but there was no reason to be rude.

I can't find where it says what is and is not allowed for those creatures, but if you had just told me that you had a problem with the man-eating part, then I wouldn't have been irritated. Instead of asking if I had a character to use without that, you just shoved me out of the rp all together.
-sweats-
Now, now, you two. Peace and love.
There's a third word, but I can't remember it...

I apologize, I haven't been sleeping well and my job hunt has been stressing me out, so I haven't been thinking clearly lately, but if you want to try something out with Terry, we can, but I can't guarantee that it'll go well or anything. Sorry for all the confusion ^^
I'll get you guys in a PM shortly.

Ok, thank you. It's alright.
Oh, By the way, I'll shoot you a PM tomorrow. Out of time today, only managed to grab a spare minute for this post.
I'm looking for just one more person to do this with on a 1x1 basis. Take a look at pages to get an idea on how magic works and what kind of people live in Majoria.
