In the world Amacyre - humans, daemon, elves, halflings, vampires and the like have been living with rising tensions for some time now. The conflicts of racism and rivalries have been growing, and this has caused bloody battles between the races. However, even a more dangerous threat has been uprising - dragons, which were believed to have been docile for many years. They have suddenly turned, and are now attacking what used to be their allies. The king of Amacyre, also known as the Reaper, has been ruling over the land for centuries. The Reaper gained his crown by achieving lichdom. He is responsible for the stereotypical image of the ‘Grim Reaper’ – a cloaked skeletal figure carrying a large scythe. The scythe is the source of his power. Unlike traditional liches, the Reaper is not evil.

Before he became a lich, the Reaper was believed to be from the daemonic race – although that was never fully determined. It is the Reaper’s responsibility to not only rule over the world, but also be the bridge between the world of the living and the dead – the Astral Plane. He can travel between the two worlds with ease. His family consists of his son Prince Daeric and daughter-in-law Princess Liara. Together, Daeric and Liara have an only son who the Reaper has deemed to be the next heir to the throne.

Bleiz knew the surrounding area like the back of his hand. He also knew his sister, so he knew exactly where he would find her. He stepped through the brush with ease, ducking and weaving through the thick branches as if it were second nature to him. He finally broke through a clearing to find the brunette woman, laying side-long in front of a small pond, one hand playing in the water slowly, methodically.

"I figured I could smell something burning," said Bleiz with a smirk as he walked over to his sister,"With that hot-head of yours,"

"Ha ha, very funny," said Melina, not looking up at him.

"Thank you, it took the entire hike up here to come up with that," he said as he sat cross-legged beside her. He looked up through the thick trees to stare up at the night stars. They both sat in silence for a long time, Melina looking down while Bleiz looked up.

"I know you're not going to stop trying to save the world," he said.

"Then you clearly don't know me that well," she spat in response.

"Oh, but I do. And I know how stubborn you are just to prove a point," he looked down at the top of her head then,"but now, you'll have to bite that back. And that's saying a lot, coming from me. You're not doing it for him. You're doing it for them." He gestured with his head back to the village, "For the people you actually care about." Melina sat in silence, thinking about it for a moment before she shifted into an upright sitting position, staring out at the still water ahead of them.

"Why do we get ourselves into this kind of trouble?"

"Because Trouble is my middle name." said Bleiz with a smirk.

"Tch, no it's not...it's Finley," said Melina, looking at him with a sideways glance. Bleiz frowned at her,

"Shut up! I don't want everyone else to know that!" That got his sister to grin. She rested her head against his strong shoulder as he gave her an affection kiss on her crown. They both looked back at the sky for what seemed like forever before a dark movement across the sky caught their attention.

"What was that?" asked Melina as she sat upright again. Bleiz narrowed his eyes as he too sat up. The dark movement came closer and closer towards them, moving at a very high rated speed. Both Melina and Bleiz stumbled to their feet. An ear-splitting roar sounded off from the figure, causing their hearts to drop to the pit of their stomachs.

"Dragon!" Melina cried. In a split second, they were both sprinting through the forest as fast as they could, dashing in between the trees as they rushed back towards the village. Flames suddenly erupted behind them, catching the bark and leaves of the oaks instantly aflame. The fire was all consuming, quickly filling the forest with thick smothering smoke

Ok, so fair warning to anyone interested...this is a long, looonggg roleplay in the making. I've had 12 years of work put behind this character and the design of the plot, so when I say I'm looking for a long term partner in this, I definitely mean long term.

To give some background on what a ‘daemon’ is in my writing, it’s not an ugly creature like what you would traditionally expect. A daemon is described as a supernatural being that could give somewhat of an appearance of humans but have something strange about them like cat-like eyes or have supernatural strength – things of that nature. Daemons tend to be beautiful/handsome.

This is where your character comes in. I need someone to be the Prince. He’ll have to have humanoid characteristics about him (although he can’t be human – I’d like to have racial conflict). If you want an example, check the above banner. Once things get rolling, there will be room for more characters, so no worries!

I am an artist, so if we establish a good writing relationship and I enjoy your character, you’ll probably end up with a lot of artwork! Yes, there will be sexual themes, but not until a long while of a real story has been going. I am not a power-player. I have my ideas/concepts, but if you ever have suggestions or ideas you want to throw in, I’m all ears!

P.S. Also, I write in third person, not in first person. So I write as "Melina walked across the road" not as "I walked across the road". So I prefer to stick to that style.

Wow, at the moment I am in awe of how well you wrote this, I'm totally interested in joining the roleplay!

Maybe... maybe..

I've got a couple of characters you might like...note the might, though..

Varen Dominal: I will admit to you, this is my best character. The best one I've made so far when it comes to details, and versatility in RPs. Well, Fantasy ones, at least. So, here's some info about him: He's a Shadowmancer, and he primarily tends to keep to himself, and talk to shadows. He has a shadow companion, named Elyzia (twin sister..? I dunno, both of them have lots of plot hooks...). The main problem you'll have with him is that he's, well, human. In a sense? This is the hard part to explain. He's like the culmination of the Umbral Lord's (fictitious character of my making..) plan to make an heir to his throne, or something like that. So...not entirely human, maybe..?

Auren Corve Aldori: This guy is much less developed, though he has the potential. What's primarily going in his favor is that he's a dhampir (half-vampire.) He's also a duelist, but that role is mutable. He has some plot hooks, though, again, he's not quite as developed as Varen. That means more room for development, though, right? (The glass is half full, the glass is half full... MAINTAIN A POSITIVE ATTITUDE.... -breathes in, then out-) He's a bit of a kid at times, but that's what you get when you design a Vetala-born dhampir.

Are both of them strong? Well, define strong. They're both strong physically (Auren more so than Varen) and intellectually (Varen more so than Auren), but both are pretty terrible at social situations. You know, that lovable ackwardness, maybe? And you'll notice both have humanity in them, somehow. I dunno, I like having that small connection to humanity because I can roleplay humans better? I dunno, like I said before, but it doesn't make sense...

Anyways! I have to stop rambling. So, I threw you a couple of characters, but I am open to suggestions Don't think I'm a stone-faced person who has to stick with his characters the way he made them! Just, don't suggest that my characters have random moments of nudity. Please, no. I like to keep some dignity.

Let just say "Wow!" You can tell you put a lot of work into this and I'm hanging on the edge of my seat to see if they made through the forest! I love the details you've used! I do have a character in mind. Um he's a human who has wolf like appearance. He also has a lot good in him. I woukd love to throw him into this. Maybe like, "As the smoke engulfed them, there was a sudden voice and as they looked around, a hand peered through the smoke! " Quick, take my hand and I will pull you through the smoke and fire!" What do you think??
