I have been sitting on doing a giveaway for a while; and originally I was going to be giving away a really awesome shirt but then I never got the shirt and stuff happened with the specific company, so I guess all things happen for a reason! So I decided to still do a little giveaway because I love all you people and was waiting for like a whole month to do a giveaway so I just couldn't find it in myself to throw away my hopes for hosting a giveaway even after things went down the drain on my original idea.
This is a flashish giveaway! That means it will be over quicker rather than sooner; but in order to give people some time to see this and participate even if they are in different timezones, it'll be up for 12 hours rather than just 3-4 hours. It is currently almost 2:00pm Eastern, and the giveaway with end at 2:00am Eastern.
There will be two winner in this giveaway, one person gets the walrus that you can play with infinite amounts of times; and one person gets the enchanted cloak that allots you with one permanent character slot.
TO ENTER:
You must write a 100 word story about the Walrus in the giveaway! A cute, adventurous, tense, or even scary (but not too scary!) story about the Walrus and all they have been through to get to this giveaway (or just a cute story either is fine!)
Your story won't determine whether or not you will win, it's just for fun, but you must write one if you want your entry to be counted.
No Anonymous Character Entries!
**100 words might seem like a lot but here's an example of 100 words.
Betty the walrus was strong and brave. Every autumn she would venture out into the great lands that surrounded her home. One year she found a staff that granted her the power travel to a new world. Leaving her family behind she followed her passion for adventure. In this strange world she saw funny looking creatures with four big flippers and bunches of tiny flippers connected to them! She braved the concrete jungle looking for a place to sleep, food, and someone to join her in her journey in this new world and show her all it has to offer.
The two winners will be chosen at the end with two dice rolls that will correspond to their placement on the entry list. (Which will be in the exact order that everyone enters) If the number is higher than the number of entrants: ie there is 25 entrants, if the roll is for 50, then the count will start again with the 1st entrant being 26, 2nd being 27 and so on.
Entrants:
1. Dndmama
2. Hikari_Yagaza
3. Abigail_Austin
4. Crystaldragon126
EIGHT HOURS AND THIRTY MINUTES LEFT.
I'm planning on doing it in a bit..
Well, heaven knows I'm an altoholic and could use more character slots, so here we go.
Vinnie the Walrus had seen a lot of death in his days. The world was a dark, cold, ruthless place and it had frozen his heart, making him dark and ruthless too. Gone were the days of beauty and innocence when he and his brother had flopped excitedly around on the beaches trying to attracted the plumpest female. Now Carl was dead, tusks sawed clean off, and it was up to Vinnie to avenge him. Bloody poachers...they were going to feel his wrath. Just as soon as he figured out what a raffle was...and how to fire a gun without any opposable digits.

Once long ago there was a walrus named Billy bob. Billy bob was a stupid walrus. But boy did he love fish. But there was no fish left. So he went on a very long journey to find the nummy fish. He met an old wise walrus and he told Billy Bob that he had no fish, but a magical cloak. This cloak would enable him to get many more fish. But the old wise man wanted the walruses tusks in return. The walrus agreed and had his tusks removed.
It was painful. But Bill Bob the tuskless walrus went off with his enchanted cloak, hoping it would attract the fish. He didnt know, and nor did the wise man, of its true purpose.

Cedrick, the walrus, was rolling around blissfully on the sunlit rocks of his barrier island off the coast of California, with scores of other walruses. It was mating season. Hundreds of loud trumpets, roars, and bellows emanated from the other male walruses in the group, most much larger than he, as they warned off competitors and tried to lure one of the sexy female walruses to be their mates.
He had his eye on a particular Walrus, one that had deep, penetrating brown eyes and an attractive layer of healthy blubber...one to seemed utterly bored with the aggressive displays of the dominant males. He sashayed up to her, and nuzzled her smooth, delightfully salty-smelling skin and lost himself in her glorious fishy breath.
Is that salmon? he wondered. A woman with good taste!
Suddenly, the alpha male charged him and smashed into him at full force. Tusks clashed and bodies pounded against one another with shocking force as Cedrick and Cesar fought for the enticing female. The female, meanwhile, rolled her eyes and sashayed up to another female.
"Let's get out of here. I'm not about to get pregnant and bring a baby walrus into shark infested waters. Anyway, I'd rather spend some time with you." she told her, and winked. The two female walruses dragged themselves awkwardly to the waters' edge and disappeared into the surf, their awkward locomotion suddenly becoming graceful in the water, and they lived happily ever after. Cedrick, however, was heartbroken. He retreated, and Cesar went back to guarding him harem of females. Cedrick was full of aches and pains all over his body from the battle, but none were as bothersome as the ache of his intense lonliness.
"I don't fit in here," he thought. Then, he remembered his time at the San Diego zoo, before he had been released into the wild. He recalled a group of people who came in one Halloween, doing cosplay and telling tales of faraway lands and romances that had people like him, awkward loners. Romances that almost always had happy endings.
"Those are my people. That's my group," he said. He swam for a fortnight, until he came to the shore, and walked over land for many days, dodging animal control officers and ferocious dogs, abd frightened felines and finally found himself at Damnationfromafar's front door.
He pounded on the door with his flipper as best he could. When the beautiful lady opened the door, her eyes lit up, and so did Cedrick's.
"I've come a long way to find you," Cedrick said, in broken English. "Will you adopt me and give me to someone who will take good care of me, and always give me a happy ending?" And she invited him in and said, "Of course, I will, you poor creature! Now you are among friends. Sit down and have some tuna and I will create a contest on the best role-playing site on the web, the Roleplay Repository."
"Thank you so much!" Cedrick said, nuzzling up to her. "I knew I could count on you!" Then he made himself comfortable on a rug in the corner and took a nap, smiling in his sleep, because he was finally home.

FIVE HOURS LEFT!
ONE HOUR REMAINING
It was a stormy night on the ice fields, a lone walrus has lost track of the others it traveled with and the night was approaching. It wasn’t safe to be alone in the fields, with orcas and..... other, things.
The lone walrus dragged itself across the ice and snow as its breathe misted and its tusks were sometimes dragged across the ice. It would look over the edge of the ice to its left as it saw shadows, nothing ever coming close enough to flee. At least, not yet.
It was the dead of night, and the walrus had travelled far yet there was no sign of its friends. Out of exhaustion, they laid on the edge of the ice and started to fall asleep. But being this close to the edge, a creature unlike any other spotted it. Before it even had time to react, a hooked jaw snapped out of the water and dragged it in by its tail. The walrus cried out for help, but it was two late. Within seconds, the snapping of the creature’s jaws ripped off its head, and back into the abyss it went with its dinner.

Thank you for your participation everyone! Your stories were all either cute, scary, heartwarming, or cute and scary at the same time!
I'll be doing another raffle probably around Christmas/New Years with a handful of items for a handful of winners. So look out for that even if it's several months away.
