So, I was trying to add some artwork to my character's gallery after reducing the file size through two different file compressors. However, I got two unique little errors when I tried to upload it. The first error said "TypeError: Permission denied" before telling me "TypeError: Unable to get property 'error' of undefined or null reference." There are screenshots at the end for proof.
I don't quite understand why I would get an error telling me that I don't have permission to upload an image to my own character. I did everything the same exact way when uploading the other image I have in that character's gallery. I don't know what makes this image much different.

This happens to me sometimes too. Usually when this happens I just need to disconnect my computer/laptop from the internet then reconnect and reload the page and try again and then usually the photo uploads.
My guess is that is it something to do with the server getting loopy and being unable to understand the code for the image you're uploading.
If it still doesn't work after doing that, try converting the image to jpg if it's png or to png if it's jpg and see if that works! 😊

The one time I had this happen, I just went in and re-saved the image under a different file name and then for some reason RPR picked it up just fine.
Hope this gets resolved for you!

This isn't that you don't have permission to upload stuff to your character, it's the machine saying it can't process something. Sometimes the metadata in an image comes out weird and a computer gets confused what it's looking at. (Or it might be failing to specify that the image has to be a jpg, png, or gif.)
If renaming it doesn't work, try opening it, copying it, pasting it to a new canvas, and saving it as an entirely new image.
I'd also suggest sending a bug report to Kim. Metadata issues is something she's been getting to figure out for awhile.

Had this issue once. Yes, making a new file with the pic you want fixed it for me.
