Hi all~ I brought cupcakes!
Well actually... I was going to, but I kind of ate them on the way here, whoops?
Anyway, onto the introduction part... I've been a rper for many years now. But in recent years, I've not been able to do it as much as I've liked. Part of it has been that rp forums I've been in with in the past have died, or I used to be part of forums that would require a certain amount of activity to remain a member, which got too difficult for me to keep up with the more busier I've gotten. So I'm just looking for somewhere where I can try to get back into it, but also not need to post once a day or week in the case of when I'm really busy with real life. Just somewhere that I can manage better with my schedule.
In real life, I am a university student, and have two jobs outside of that. Which is why I get busy pretty often. I also live in Australia, so depending how many people from which part of the globe are here, I may be in the wrong timezone for many of you.
I enjoy doing a lot of Fantasy and Supernatural RPs. Sometimes Sci-Fi if I feel like my lack of scientific knowledge isn't going to be a problem for the rp. I might also do a book or TV series rp if I know the series enough. I very rarely do things that are based on real life, mainly because I do like letting the imagination run a bit on what can be done, and while I'm happy to abide by rules established in a rp's setting, I do like to be able to explore the "what ifs" that I can't possibly explore in reality. But maybe if someone suggests one with an interesting plot, I'll bite.
And that's about all I feel up to giving in this intro. I hope I can put in the time to get to know everyone here and also join in some interesting rps~

I actually don't mind the modern setting. Probably should have made that clear. I'm always happy with a modern setting if there's magic or paranormal things going on. Because as you say, it starts not being really reality in that case.
