In the world of the vampire, resting just beneath our own. Only to come out as our lights go out. There are many rivalries between lesser clans and noble houses that fight for domination and land for their nightly hunts.
However, none can compare to that visceral animosity that lays between the house of Báthory, and house Dracula. A centuries old feud that began in the vampire heartland of Transylvania. When, unknown to either house at the time. The leader of house Dracula,Vlad Dracula, thought to expand his lands. So he convinced the towns people in the villages surrounding the neighboring lands belonging to the Báthory family to hunt down the head of the Báthory family,at the time Elizabeth Báthory, and have her killed.
Soon after, the Báthory family spent years under the subjugation of house Dracula where they were effectively slaves. Beaten, bruised, and driven mad often. Until they took their chance and fled, eventually seeing the death of Vlad Dracula through. Ultimately reclaiming their lands by the year 1720. Lands which house Dracula claimed belonged to them by birthright.
With each family spreading their influence across the globe,this conflict has spread world wide from the Americas to east Asia. One truth is clear though, this war is eternal.
(Hey guys, it’s almost Halloween season. So I thought I’d try my hand at a monster based rp seeing as I haven’t done one in a long time. While I’d prefer paragraph role players, I’ll take what I can get. This is made to be a group rp but can be worked into a 1x1 if necessary. Some magic. Few can use it, but most of the players probably won't have it. Magical characters will likely believe that they are all alone.

Combat is expected as part of the storyline but it won't dominate the plot.
