Forums » Help » Push notifications only showing for forum replies?

Lately on my laptop and my desktop no matter what browser I use the push notifications only pop up for forum replies. They don't show up for PM's at all. I thought it might just be my browser which is chrome, so I tried firefox and microsoft edge. I made sure to allow popups and notifications from RPR on all three browsers; and for about a day after switching over to each all push notifications would show up but then the next day onward the notifications for PM's stopped showing up.

I also tried disabling push notifications via the settings page and deleting the devices and then adding the device again, but PM notifications still no longer shows up. I know I can do a bug report, I'm just not really sure if it's a bug; and I am wondering if anyone else is dealing with this. I don't think it's my devices because my laptop and my PC both run on two completely different operating systems. My laptop is Windows 10 and my PC is Linux Mint.

I will say that on my phone the PM notifications occasionally show up. Sometimes they won't show for a day and then the next day they will, and then won't for another two days; but on my laptop and PC they just aren't showing up at all except for the first day that I switch browsers.

Note: all notifications worked and popped up fine for two whole years. They only stopped working in the last two weeks.

I'm not well versed on the topic, however I think this might clear up some stuff? This might not apply at all and I am sorry aha.
