The office was clean and tidy. No one would know that Reggie was sleeping in her office. The futon was stored in the closet and the small kitchen was cleaned from her breakfast.

As it was, she was drinking coffee, trying to tie her tie, slipping the silk this way. She was awake, but she didn’t want to be awake. It was just after eight in the morning and she wasn’t getting enough sleep. She stretched out her legs and gave up on the tie as she finished off the cup of coffee.

Her office was a nice one, even if it was in a bad part of town. She had a beautiful desk in the front area of the office, a second one in the inner office. Beside the desk and the filing cabinet, though, there wasn’t much in the outer area of the office.

The inner office was where Reggie wanted to work from - but of course, she didn’t have a secretary so she had to be in the front office to greet clients.

A man looking to be about the age of 27 years old entered the office. He wore a coat and the collar of it was up to keep his face hidden. Look like he was wearing a pair of shades over his eyes, to hide his looks even more. Samuel looked around carefully to see if anyone was in, "Hello?" He called out, his voice somewhat regal and calm like the sea. Under his coat he wore a costume that he just kept on from the play he had just did. He always kept his costumes and didn't even bother to return them.

Reggie looked up, "Can I help you?" She pulled the tie from her shoulders and fixed her collar. Wearing what she was, she could easily pass off as a man. It was her voice was did her in, though. It was like a high, clear bell. A pretty voice for sure, but she didn't have the sort of clarity in her speech that Samuel did. Instead she was just a moderately cute face with a good phone voice.

She stood up, wishing she had tucked her shirt in as she offered her hand to him.

Samuel blinked in surprise through his shades to see a woman standing before him. Even with the clothes she had on, he could tell that she was a woman. But he didn't pay attention to that right now as he reached out and took her hand firmly, "Yes, are you Detective Striker?" He asked his voice seemed somewhat shaken and also fear as well. "You must of heard about the accident last night about an actress that died on stage?" The one death he was talking about was a famous actress that suddenly died upon stage and the cops, in the newspaper, said that it was an accident that she had fell off the stage and broke her neck.

Reggie nodded, "I am Detective Striker. You can call me Reggie, if you'd prefer, though." She glanced down at the paper, the small article about the actress. It was put in sloppily. Seemed it happened late enough the paper didn't get a chance to push out a longer article. Reggie barely looked at it, but she read enough to get it.

"Was she a friend of yours?"

Samuel gave a nod of his head as he reached up to his eyes to take off his shades. He folds the shades and puts them into his coat pocket. His eyes were green as a leaves colors, his hair sandy blonde but curly as well. "She was indeed a good friend of mine. Actually, my best friend and the only one who seemed to understand me. So when those cops told me that her death was an accident I didn't believe a word! She couldn't of died that way! She was too careful and she knew everything about that theater!" He clinched his hands tightly into fist of rage.

Reggie managed to keep her brows in check, not letting her left one rocket up. She tapped her index fingers together and pulled out a pad. Even if it was an accident, she would still get paid, "So my fees are Fifty-five bucks an hour plus expenses." She crossed her legs, pulling out a paper that outlined various expenses.

Samuel watched her pull out a pad and explain the fees and expenses,"Fine..I can pay whatever you want. Just find my friend's killer! I know she was murdered!" He walks over to the window to look out onto the city streets. "I just know it..."
