I just kinda got curious... when do MOST countries have Thanksgiving? Early October or late November? Or neither? Or do some countries not have it?

We have it in late November...kinda

Canada has it this weekend... And I know in the US it's like the third Thursday of November or something.

I think Thankgiving is a North American (Canadian/U.S.) holiday.
It doesn't exist here in Australia.

Interesting. I think in the US it has some historical meaning, but basically you just have your family over for a big dinner and be thankful for stuff.

Eh I don't have too much to be thankful for when Thanksgiving hits for me. It will be my first one without my grandma after all. T.T

In Denmark, we don't have Thanksgiving. I know that American organisations as well as the American ambassador to Denmark usually do some Thanksgiving stuff - dinners, parties, whatever fits them, but the Danish population doesn't. We have, however adopted Black Friday as a thing over the years, and especially electronics and gadgets sell a lot on Black Friday.
We've also adopted Halloween, and rumor has it that it's surpassing our own dress-up holiday, Fastelavn, in popularity. Which is a darn shame, because Halloween does not have Fastelavnsboller(special pastry), people on horseback doing cool stuff, or whack-the-cat-off-the-barrel*. And you don't get to wake up your parents by hitting them with Birch branches. Shame.

*No actual cats are harmed.

Yeah, I was going to say... asking when "most" countries have it is a bit ahah silly, seeing as it's a North American thing. This thread will just have a bunch of US and Canadian people answering. Although Wikipedia says the Caribbean Islands and Liberia also celebrate it.

Hence why I said "Or neither?" and "Do some countries not have it?".
