"Thank you sir and yes I would love something to eat, Eve should still be sleeping so I definitely have time to eat" he said before walking towards the man near the books "The names Ace Roano nice to meet you Alex". Ace walks to the weaponry towards the back looking at each one as if it was a painting "Hey Doc anytime your ready, then I would love to eat" he said with his eyes stuck on the weapons.
Alex was so wiped out he almost fell asleep when he heard the Doc say "Food", he bolted awake. "Food?"
[They were Ace's weapons setting themselves back into wherever Ace had them before on his person, FYI] Thaddeus nodded. "Food's ready, but I'm afraid it's not much. Just some steak." He said, taking a knife from the cutting board and slicing the freshly cooked steaks into bite size chunks. He evenly distributed it all into three bowls, handing them out with a smile at Alex's reaction. Guy's kinda cute. He thought. Not bad looking either. "The shop's not much, I know, but... While I'm not the most well equipped and practical doctor, I have most of my skill in causing pain to people who wish to do so to me. My 'degree', if you will, was earned from knowing all of the vital points of the body for combat usage. I'm also a telekinetic."
[The telekinesis, by the way, is the version from the movie "Push", with the whole rainbow aura thing.]
Alex was so drained of energy that he started picking up the pieces of steak without utensils. He threw a piece of steak into the fire and mumbled. Oh gods, please accept my offering. After he was finished he laid back down on the bed staring at the ceiling. "Hey Doc, why do you stay in this dingy old workshop?"
The Question Alx had asked made a lot of sense, Doc had a hell of a lot of talent yet he said in a place that's almost off the map "Yea, I mean you have the power, skills, intelligence to make it so your not at the bottom of the barrel like every person in this part of town, Whats keeping you?"
He snorted, lighting a cigarette. "Okay. Let's think about it, well... We're in the middle of the freakin' desert. Two, those terrorists have killed every rich person and raided every bank in the city, ruining the economy. Three, why would I even want to live elsewhere when I can get by with simple basics and hard work? If I laid around all the time I'd either get really fat or really skinny, and personally I like being well built." He said as he slipped off his vest and coat again. "So, Alex, what's your story? Your blood smelled like brimstone and sugar cookies. That usually isn't normal... If I remember my aetherology and demonology correctly... Only angels and demons have the scent of cookies and brimstone." He was smirking with a playful look on his face.
((OOC: Hi! Hope it's ok if I join in. ))
A young woman walked down the streets of Steamgear. Her black hood was hiding her figure as she walked down the steam-punk streets. This place was so different from her own era. She has heard of tourists here but hasn't crashed into any yet. She hopes she wasn't.
She had a slight headache from the wind blowing against her but she didn't seem to mind. She continued walking down the street that she heard a doctor was at. She looked up, peeking out from under her hood. She saw a small building that seemed to be quite old. She didn't know exactly who lived there. She took a step forward, trying to get a better look at the building.

Glancing at the door, he noticed another presence. "Another visitor? Jeez. My house can barely hold two people..." He opened the door and looked around a bit before his pale blue eyes fell on the woman outside. "Can I help you?" He asked, scratching the back of his head lazily. Not many people in the town knew any really defining features about Thaddeus, other than his striking hair color, despite his age. Most people didn't get to see his eyes, either, but that was another striking feature that was more of a rumor. A true one, apparently.
Megami stared at the man before her until her eyes fell on his hair. She's never seen someone with such an odd hair colour before. She made her eyes dart back to the mans eyes. She walked up to the man and bowed politely.
"Sorry to disturb you, sir but I was wondering if you knew a certain doctor that lived down this street...?" She looked up at him from beneath her hood.
"Sorry to disturb you, sir but I was wondering if you knew a certain doctor that lived down this street...?" She looked up at him from beneath her hood.
"That's me. I'm the only one left alive in town." He replied, putting out his cigarette. "I have two other customers right now but I can deal with you too, or at least try. One's got a sister infected with the Windstormers' Plague, the bioweapon those a-holes have been spreading around. I'm assuming you have a similar problem."
Megami nodded, "Something of the sort." She replied then looked over his shoulder, seeing how small the inside of the building was. She looked back at him quickly and smiled, "No, please deal with the people who were here before me. I can wait. I'll come back later if you'd like." She suggested.
He shook his head. "I think they've fallen asleep or something anyway. It's quiet. What is it you need?" He asked, stretching a little bit. He seemed a bit feline-like, in the way he stretched and acted. "My name is Doctor Thaddeus Dredd. You can call me Doc, or Thad." He said softly, going inside and beckoning Megami behind him. "Come in. I just finished dinner and now I'm working on my cure. Close the door behind you and lock it please. Any weaponry, set it on the table and I'll give it back to you once I feel safe enough to." He said, jutting a thumb to the small table on one side of the room.
She followed Thad inside and immediately turned around and closed the door like he told he to. She locked it securely and then checked herself for any weapons she might have on her that she forgot she had. None. She took off her hood, revealing her long blonde hair that fell down to her waist as she did so. She looked at Thad and stared at him, seeming dumbfounded. "I-I'm sorry, I don't really know what I need." She stuttered as she scratched the back of her head. "I was never very good at....medicine and cure stuff like this." She said as she chuckled a bit. Her eyes roamed around the house, examining it. "....I do know that I might have this sickness that everyone seems to have nowadays." She said as her eyes continued to look around.
Thaddeus nodded. "Alright. Let me take a look at you." He knelt by her side, touching her cheek gently and closely observing her skin. "Vascular system..." He was looking at the blood vessels in her cheeks, evidently. "Have you been having trouble breathing? How about blood. Been bleeding anywhere unusual, like the pores, ears, eyes, or coughing up blood?" He asked, straight to the point and professional.
[*stood beside her. Sorry I imagined her as a "little girl" for a second, had a derp moment]
((OOC: Hehe, that's alright ^.^))
Megami stood there as she let him examine her. "Lets see...I've been coughing up blood quite a lot...Sometimes bleeding in my ears but no bleeding from my eyes or pores." She replied as she looked back at him.

Nodding, Thaddeus walked to his shelf, getting the same mixture of potions he'd gotten for the other fellow's sister. Antibiotics, a vial of yellow-clear liquid, human liver extract, a red-clear liquid, and painkiller, a thick blue substance."Administer the human liver extract and antibiotics through the skin, just rub it in. As for the painkiller, you can administer it orally." He told her, then took a seat on his leather chair. It was obviously an antique, a very old and well kept piece of furniture. His workshop was too, when not attacked by psycho, idiotic guys with guns and intimidating viral dilemmas.
Megami nodded, agreeing. She looked at the strange potion and tilted her head at it. She's never seen anything quite like it before. She held her hands together loosely in front of her while continuing to stand there. "Thank you." She said.
"No problem. No charge. If you come back in a little while, I should have a cure in a day or two. Some of the Windstormers attacked me earlier and destroyed my stuff... Roughed one or two up though." He said with a slight twitch at the side of his mouth, as if he wanted to laugh at the fact in triumph.
