Kailey had a long day. She was on her feet all day. She ad looking forward to getting some long waited sleep. "At least I can sleep tonight. Last night, those pesky cats kept me up all night." As she laid there, she kept thinking about work, about sitting at her desk filling papers, typing things. She couldn't get to sleep. She eventually fell into a deep sleep. She woke up in a strange room! Her head had a helmet over it. Doctors were all around her, watching screens that seemed to light up with weird colors. Was she dreaming? She didn't know. Surely this was a dream! "Morning miss Greenfield. How are we feeling today?" Asked one of the doctor's. " I don't understand. Is this a dream?" He laughed. " Miss, this is no dream." He pressed a button on the side of her helmet. She began to fell asleep again. When she woke up, she held her head in her hands. "What was that dream? I've been there before but none of the doctor's were there. And this time, one actually talked to me. Or did he? Dii make this up?" She shrugged it off as a weird dream and went into the bathroom. She brushed her hair. That's when she noticed the bruise on her arm! She touched it. "Ouch, that really hurts. Where did that come from?" She also noticed her skin was a lighter color then before. She also had dark circles under her eyes. "Wow. I could pass for a cancer patient" she thought to herself. She went to work that morning. Everyone noticed her pale skin. Some even asked if she was sick. She told them no. That night she was afraid to go back to sleep. Woukd she wake up in that strange room again? And if she did. Would she have more bruises? That night, she woke up in that room again. But this time, there was no going back! She even tried the button but nothing happened! "Where is everyone?" No one was around she took off the helmet. She could hear the sounds of clicks and beeps from the hallway. She walked to the hallway. She thought it looked like a hospital. She saw, out of the corner of her eye, there was a mirror. She looked at herself. She looked normal. No dark circles, no bruising. She saw a glass of water sitting on a table in her room. She didn't know where it came from given that there were no pipes anywhere, not even a sink. She tried slapping herself awake. Nothing. She stuck herself with her finger nails. Still nothing. She went back out to the hallway again. "Help!!! Someone!! Anyone!!! Help me please!! I don't know where I am!" No one answered. She curled up into a ball and began crying. She cried herself asleep! When she woke up, she was back in her bedroom! She was on the floor by her bed. Now she was really freaked out! ( Let me know if anyone wants to help with this!)
