Alex sat up quickly. He could feel the demonic healing abilities already healing his wings. "I must go now." he said as he tried to get up.

Isobel kept him sitting there with an inhuman strength. "If you try to leave you'll only get yourself killed. You're already injured and whoever attacked you could have others with him."

Alexander did what he was told. Mhm, I'm going to have some explaining to do when the injury is healed in a day.... he thought bitterly. "What are you guys doing hiding in this warehouse?" he asked broadly.

Isobel let go of him when it seemed he wasn't going to try getting up again. She stepped back and her knees bumped up against a box. She half fell, half sat on the box. "I just needed a place to stay for the night and found this." She motioned around her.

"I have a confession.." Alexander blurted out. "I've been following you..." he finished, watching their expressions. God i'm the worst person ever Alex watched the wound on his wing close up ever so slightly.

Isobel tensed and she felt her hand drop to where her dagger was instinctively. "Why?" She asked hesitantly. Have they found me already?

"Because I saw two girls wandering the streets at night, and.... well..." he replied without finishing his sentence. Should I tell them I'm only a Half Blood freak? He chewed his bottom lip, trying to finish his sentence.

"And?" She could tell he was hiding something by the tone of his voice.

"Well... I thought you guys could use some help." he added simply. Alex glanced at his shoulder, which was almost all the way healed. He sighed and mustered up the courage to tell them. "Ok, first promise you won't kill me with your dagger... Or your other concealed weapons." he said to both girls.

Isobel raised an eyebrow. It was possible that he was trying to catch them off guard and unarmed. After a moment's thinking, she took off the dagger and sheath and unstrapped the staff on her back. She laid them down on the floor. She felt fairly confident that she and Scarlett could take Alexander as it was 2 to 1 and he was wounded.

Alex glanced at his wing again. It was now completely healed, except for a small scar. Sighing he revealed the truth. "I'm only Half Angel.. Half Demon" he said bracing himself for the worst, glancing at their weapons.

Isobel paused, waiting to see if he'd say anything else. She could tell he was telling the truth, but she really didn't have a problem with him being a Half Demon, so long as he didn't attack her. She relaxed a little. "Yeah? Well as long as we're sharing secrets...I was raised as a science experiment." She hugged her knees to her chest.

Alexander was not surprised. Much. "So weir sharing secrets now?" he asked with a grin on his face. "I once took a pair of womans underpants from the store when I was eight, and I wore them around the whole neighborhood until someone called the police." he said through bursts of laughter. Alexander untied his scabbard and tossed it beside him on the bed and sat up, waiting for Isobel.

Isobel laughed. She didn't know how Alex looked so she was wrongly imagining a small blonde boy with fluffy white wings and a pair of underwear on his head. "I had to run into a clothes shop with just a hospital gown and grab a bunch of clothes and leave as quick as I could. I ended up pushing over a row of racks and knocking over a bunch of people." She giggled as she remembered the confusion of everyone.

Alex laughed so hard his side hurt. "What about you Miss Silent?" he called in the direction of Scarlett.

"Is she ok?" Alex whispered to Isobel urgently.

Isobel shrugged. "She around guys maybe?" She'd only just met Scarlett and didn't know her that well. "By the way, my name's Isobel."

Scarlett had became lost in thought, barely listening to Isobel and Alexander. Visions of when she had her wings were ripped off played in her mind. She had felt the same amount of fear then as she did when she went outside, but she didnt want to frighten the others, "I don't really have a secret,but I guess I could share something... When I first arrived at earth, a human boy--no older than 16--had found me in the woods. When I first woke up, i started glowing, he was so freaked out that he peed his pants."

Isobel giggled. "Wow, that must have been embarrassing."

"For him, maybe." Scarlett replied with a hint of humor, then tossed her red hair over her shoulders then tied it back, "After tonight, are we going to try to find the monster or what?" Scarlett was fine with trying to track the thing that attacked Axelander; frankly she has nothing better to do but she knows it'll be safer if she has a companions.
