The drunk woman waved her hand. "Honey I barely remember where I am or why I'm here right now!" She was being truthful: right now she had entirely forgotten about her contract. She was focussed on enjoying herself until she got more information to work with.
The bar keep was not pleased to see her again. She had left she his shot glass, after all. She met him with a snarky remark and sat down.

Capell waved off the barkeep's sour attitude and he smiled at Katar. "Yeah, I'm local. I do some work here." He stretched and ordered some drinks for each of them. "So what brings you girls here, hm?" He smiled at them dashingly.
((More fail x.x sorry. My posting is lacking tonight.))

((Dude, don't worry about it! It's all fine. ^^))
"I'm looking to find some work, myself," she responded. The interaction between Ilo and the bartender were noted. Wherever the drunk woman was sitting, Katar didn't particularly feel like being in a seat next to her. So it was quite likely that Capell would end up with one lady sitting on either side of him. What a boss!
"I've been drifting from place to place for a while now to try and pick up some temporary work as a bodyguard or an escort or something. But it can be difficult without a reputation or contacts in these parts." When her drink came, she took a long, thirsty gulp from it.

Though the overall ambience of the tavern was loud, Spencer found it very easy to listen in on the new group's conversation. Already full from a previous encounter with an unfortunate townswoman, the incubus found his attention drawn to a particular gathering at the far end of the bar. The new comers. "How appropriate", he thought to himself. "And I was almost ready to leave."
A quick saunter over to the bar was all it took. He hadn't even picked which he liked best yet, but then again, he was always up for a game of surprise. Even with himself.
"I'm a bit of a drifter myself, dear.." The incubus steadied his pace and placed a hand against the back of Katar's chair, putting himself between her and Capell. "But I'd let you be my escort any day..."
Cocking and eyebrow and cracking the corner of his mouth in a smirk, Spencer let his...classy...remark sink in, while his ice blue eyes turned their attention to the intoxicated woman on Capell's other side.

Silently, a small figure sat behind the group now, watching them intently. Dark little eyes wandering from each person, as if trying to find something. The eyes moved from the intoxicated woman, knowing all to well that she might be an easy target, to the man with the cloth on his head. He seemed to have an air about him, one he was familiar with, as being a thief, but noticed that he had his money was somewhat easy to get to. The next male, having just sat down, seemed like he would be less easy to get anything from. And the final woman... well, she was smaller than the others, so it was assumed she was less of a threat.
There was a nearly inaudiable chirping sound, as the figure moved down to the floor, slinking along the wall and toward the group. A small, black rabbit-like creature neared them, slipping up unnoticed, by each of them, sniffing out their valuables before chewing through any strings that held coin purses or bags. It's long tail wrapped around the goods, and somehow seemlessly enveloped them for managable carry.

((It was explained in chat, that Ilo's "valuables" are in her pouch of infinite holding... In her cleavage. So don't expect her not to notice that she might be stolen from.))
Ilo perked up at the sound of Spencer's voice. He looked like he could be fun; not that these other people weren't, but that one girl seemed somewhat stuffy. Her eyes were shaded under her long lashes and met his with interest. She leaning forward in what might be called a provocative way and offered her un-metal-laden hand. "Ilo Howell, love. Nice to meet you." Her voice was thick and she had an accent that might be construed as British, but not quite.

Capell wasn't fond of this man swooping in to take one of his ladies. The thief was tempted to threaten the man off, but then he noticed a bunny trying to rob him. He picked up the creature swiftly by the scruff of it's neck and lifted the rabbit-like thing into the air. "Well, aren't you cute? A thieving little rabbit. I bet you'll make a good stew, hm?" His eyes flashed mischeviously. He may not be able to eat, but that didn't mean he was lying in what he said.
He smirked and then set the creature upon upon Spencer's shoulder. "A present for you." He held back a snicker and leaned back, watching Ilo and Katar for a few moments. His valuables were still perfectly fine, attached to his person. He was beginning to think he should put them away, even though it wasn't much at all.

(( Sorry, I tried to make it seem like he grabbed only the things he saw. I did a horrible job on explaining in that post, lol I was distracted.))
The creature gave an agitated chirp as Capell picked it up. And it was obvious he did not like being given as a present to a stranger, by a stranger. It gave a small hissing sound before jumping onto the table and looking to each of them, seeing if there was anything that could quickly be taken and escaped with. Nothing came to eye, so the creature jumped onto the rafters over them, as if waiting for an opportunity.

((This RP is full of the seductive types... Why do I feel like this is going to dissolve into an orgy? HA))
(( Whoa! ...Maybe. Haha))
((Oh geez, that's just what Spencer needs...more encouragement ))
Spencer was about to extend his hand to meet Ilo's when Capell intercepted and placed the rabbit on his shoulder. The creature clearly wasn't pleased by this action and jumped into the rafters only moments later, leaving tiny scratches on Spencer's bare shoulder. Hiding a scowl, he rubbed the scratch for a moment before focusing his attention to Capell.
"I'm afraid your offering doesn't want to cooperate." he remarked cooly in his baritone voice. "Oh, and forgive me for not introducing myself first; I was a bit lost for words from the lady before me."
Reaching his hand right across Capell, the incubus took Ilo's hand in his and leaned in towards her; his lips cracked in a crooked grin. "A pleasure to meet you, Miss. Ilo. My name's Spencer." Keeping his eyes on hers, Spencer leaned in and placed a gently kiss on the top of her hand; all while Capell sat between them. A Classy gentleman, indeed.

Ilo, barely flattered beamed back at him and removed her hand. "Pleasure, I'm sure." She was basking in all the attention from both Spencer and Capell. She sipped her drink and sat in silence for long moments, unfazed by the chirping rabbit thing. She was slowly sobering up, as her drink was not alcoholic and she watched those who had gathered from under her hood. She started humming her tune again.
Capell was rather tempted to take his hidden dagger and shove it right up the incubus' --...*ahem* Anyways, Capell was very putoff. "Right. Unfortunately I can't help it that your face scares off little animals." He smirked and simply fiddled with the cup in his hands. This outing for drinks had been spoiled by the unwanted company and he was on the verge of excusing himself to see if maybe he had any work to do. Anything to get away.
He didn't feel like having a battle of wits and charm with the male. He just felt like taking his dagger and making the incubus a woman. Sigh...Such wishful thinking.

The incubus mearly turned to Capell an gave him a charming smile; he had been in plenty of situations like this one before and recognized immediately where the thief's temper stemmed from. He meant no harm, nore was he here to play competition. In fact, the thrilling idea of sharing came into mind more than once, but the incubus knew better than to bring that up to one as high strung as Capell.
Though the thought was toying with his mind, and he gave it a once over before shrugging his shoulders and giving an answer. "There's no need for such hostility, my friend. I'm not a possessive type..." Turning his gaze to the newcomer, Spencer held out his hand to Andromeda and beckoned her closer. "Come join us, my dear. One can never have enough company."

Andromeda had been surprised that she had been spotted by the odd looking one, let alone at all. She had been making herself as inconspicuous as possible, sitting in the darker part of the room, giving minimal glances their way. She assumed that the few glances would go unnoticed, but it appeared she had been wrong. It drew attention to her somehow.
She looked to him, and then looked beside her, playing dumb a little. She looked back to him, pointing to herself as if asking, 'Me?', before standing up slowly and making her way toward the table. This seemed like a little much. She didn't mind being around so many people, if she knew them, but she didn't know a single thing about these people. Except that one seemed drunk, and another was blue. Their intentions were unknown, and that put her on edge, but she hid that uneasiness well, giving them all a smile.
"Ah, are you sure? Seems there aren't anymore chairs here." She glanced up to the rafters, giving a quick glare to the creature up there, before turning a little from the group. "Thanks for the offer, but I'll just head back to my seat over there."

She watched the following exchange with decreasing interest. Katar had sat silently through out the introductions of the newer people and Ilo eyed her from under her hood. She was certain everyone had discounted her for being ass-over-head drunk at the moment and she was content in that assertion. Let them think her incapable of handling herself, then if the need rose she could out handle everyone. She sat with her legs crossed, her foot bobbing like an impatient cat as Andromeda spoke and retreated.
"Well; it seems we've got an interesting gathering here."
"Well; it seems we've got an interesting gathering here."
Capell pounced at the opportunity to one-up the blue annoyance. When Andromeda spoke of there being no seats, he smirked and gently took hold of her hand, tugging her right down into her lap. "Nonsense. There's one right here." He chuckled lightly and let the girl lounge in his lap. "We're not going to let you get away that easily, missy. Come be social. It's a lot more fun that being by yourself."
His eyes strayed towards Ilo for a couple moments. Capell blatantly disregarded Spencer's words. Most of Capell's enemies were men (though there were quite a few scorned women on that list too), and this one was an incubus to boot. They simply weren't meant to get along.

Ilo met his eyes as they strayed to hers. The light purple low betraying where she was looking. She much preferred to be the center of attention; sure Spencer was fine, but having Spencer and Capell drooling over her was preferable. She leaning her head back to turn her nose up at Capell and his decision to favor this other girl.
When her hand was grabbed and she was pulled backward, she let out a somewhat surprised, but quiet yelp. "I don't usually take the most comfortable seat in the house, but if you insist," she grinned to Capell, deciding to play this out to her advantage. If she worked this right, she could actually leave with what she came for. "I am Andromeda. But, if you prefer, you can call me Captain." She grinned leaning forward a bit to look at the others.
Ilo's eye brow twitched at Andromeda's title. "What a coincidence. I am a captain of sorts as well." She extended her hand to her fellow.
