The king of your kingdom decided to host a "lottery" of sorts. Every Lord and those of the Nobility was forced to enter 3 commoners with a steep price of 8 Silver coins per commoner. anyone else who wanted to enter could do so at the price of 2 Gold coins. The prize to the 6 who were chosen recieved 20% of all of the payment for entry into the lottery split amongst themselves and 2 horses with a cart capable of hauling most survival gear required. These "lucky" 6 were also Banished from the kingdom (After a 3 day period to get supplies from local shops) for 1 year and sent off into the wilderness to explore and locate any valuable resources and perhaps some of the rumored Magical Tablets hidden in the mountain range to the east. If they were to return before the year was up, their posessions would be taken, and the 6 branded as cowards and sold off to the highest of the nobility as a slave. If they returned after the year with resources and preferably the Magic Tablets, they would be praised as heroes of the kingdom. You have been chosen and with your fellow 5 winners you now inherit 8 gold coins each. Some of you paid for your own entry, wishing so dearly to have some adventure.

Nature is harsh, Especially during the winter, and It will not be forgiving. There is a good chance you character could die as a result of 'Bad Luck' or poor judgement.
This roleplay is mainly centered around survival and exploration, There will be pleanty of action for those who desire it.
Magic is rare, and Magical creatures do exist, Though they are extrememly rare, Perhaps one of the group has magical abilities, Though considering the recent hunting of magical beings in the kingdom, they will be very cautious to reveal themselves.
