Ban stood at his door, peering down the steps. Oh, what fun! Halloween was such an interesting human holiday. He had filled what normally was a bowl for burnt offerings with candy, and waited next to it for trick-or-treaters to come through. The god of balance wore his own traditional outfit, but he blended in, his cloak of dove feathers swept behind him. He just feared that kids would have difficulties climbing the misty glass steps to get the candy. He had left a sign stating that it was there, though.

His raven sitting on his shoulder, he waited...and waited...and waited some more. What a pity none of the others loved this holiday like he did!

Loki was just in his element. This feast provided him the most outstanding opportunities to play pranks and tricks to mortals and immortals alike, for once, without being blamed for the mishaps

He just couldn't help himself tricking Thor, his kinsman, into turning up at Ban's door.



"Are you sure this is where we should be?" asked Thor suspicious and confused at the decorations before them " If you are trying to evade me... there'll be a hefty price to pay" warned Thor walking forth

"Just say... trick or treat... it's how strangers greet each other this time of the year" insisted Loki in a low voice frowning at the raven he spotted on Ban's shoulder, well aware black ravens were in general a bad omen

Loki was just planning to escape Thor's watchful eyes and play tricks and jokes on anyone he stumbled into, all night long, but for now, he had to be friendly, smile and ensure Ban would keep Thor very occupied for him to sneak away



"Trick or treat!" greeted Loki with a broad smile of mischief

Ban grinned roguishly. "How about a trick?" The god chuckled, looking at the two. "I do like tricks."

He froze for a moment. "...or, am I supposed to do a trick for you?" He was very obviously joking, the raven on his shoulder watching Thor and Loki with beady eyes.

The tiny bat winged imp continued his bouncing and gliding from a flower shop to a house that very strongly felt of magic of various sorts. His ragged black hoodie and pants with his throwing knives oddly missing three out of the ten after he decided to target a bat who seemed to like him. He hated bats...or well...the normal ones. He was technically part bat but he was unique...and very bipolar about many things.

His little bat wings stopped their flapping as he saw the source of said magic and his eyes get even wider as he looked between the gods wondering if he should tuck tail and leave this place but the other side of him urged him to go ahead and try for more candy here.

"Candyyyy~!" he half hissed as his eyes locked on to the bowl of treats. While he knew what the bowl was usually used for he honestly didn't care, it's not like he hadn't eaten out of worse before. He giggled as he passed Loki, his wide green eyes looked up at the trickster god with a bit of interest but it was clear he had a huge sugar rush and didn't focus on him for long.

"Hiya!" he squeaked, he didn't quite understand why most would say trick or treat because that invited one to lose out on treats if the host chose to trick them. His eyes were deadlocked on the candy.

Ban chuckled. "Welcome, small one." He murmured, his voice somewhat musical. He reached into the container, holding out two pieces of candy for Draz.

Mina was alone. Shed gotten lost. Oh how she knew her parents must be worried, but she thought little on that. This was a grand adventure.

She climbed the stairs. She spotted Thor first and squeaked,"oh hes a big man!" her gaze went to Loki,"coool..." she then hopped up onto the porch,"Trick or Treat!" she chirped, and then noticed the bat creature. She blinked, and tilted her head in confusion.

Ban turned toward Mina. He frowned at first, seeing no adults. "Hello dear." He grinned, holding out some candy for her. "You must be a big girl, out here all alone."

"Yep! Im a very big girl. Im nine!" She says,"My mom and dad are lost. Im trying to find them. Have you seen em?" she took the candy and thanked the man, waiting for his response.

"Yee!!" The imp squealed as he was given more candy to add to his already large collection. "Thanks!!!" He said, obviously pleased. Then he darted off again almost running face first into the next visitor but thankfully his little wings had enough strength to lift him just high enough to glide over her head with a tiny startled yelp.

He needed to be more careful! ...maybe less sugar for now.

He giggled. "Indeed you are, a big, big girl indeed. I haven't seen your parents, but you can stay here while waiting for them, if you want. I don't mind." He watched Draz leave as well, smiling.

"S-shoot..." A small figure was suddenly there. He wasn't just moments before... It was like he had teleported. He glanced up at the sign, stating there was candy nearby, then at the steps. With a determined huff, the small thing scrambled up them, slipping a couple times.

Finally, Riki Scalia stood before Ban.

"E-er, trick or t-treat?" He said hopefully, holding out a dreadfully empty bag.

Ban turned from the lost kid, towards the new boy. "Hmm, how about a trick?" He chuckled lightly, although he was already reaching into the bowl of candy. making sure to grab more for this one, seeing how he seemed to lack all treats.

Mina thought a moment and shook her head,"my parents will turn up soon Im sure, and this place is a bit out of the way...If I go home they'll be there eventually." Mina turned,"Bye mister!" and she looked at the boy with the empty bag, frowning.

She took some of her own candy and slipped it in his bag,"here. I dont like Reeses." Mina says. It was a lie she loved them. But she wanted to share.

Mina then ran down the stairs and away without another word.

Ban nodded. "Be careful, and may the gods always watch over you!" He called after Mina. "Have a happy Halloween!"

Riki nodded, giving a small, and grateful smile.

"Thank y-you, sir." He said, before turning and fleeing down the steps, disappearing as quickly as he had appeared.

Ban watched him flee, a bit mystified at first at the flightiness of this trick-or-treater. But again, he merely shrugged this off, like he typically did.

Thor rubbed his chin thoughtfully.

"I'd rather a treat to be honest... when it comes to tricks... Loki keeps them coming all year around, never mind tonight!" half complained Thor turning around to see Loki had already vanished from sight nowhere to be seen or found and causing Thor to cringe irritated at his own lack of attention. He should have seen it coming after all...

"Definitely a treat, something sweet preferrably" requested Thor with a smile, patiently waiting for the candy or anything that might give him a small hint of pleasure after Loki's unexplained disappearance.

Ban nodded, handing him a few pieces of candy. "Have a happy halloween!" He grinned wide, noticing his candy levels and sighing. He snapped his fingers and the bowl refilled.

Seto squealed in joy, spotting the next house with lovely "decorated" steps and a man with a cute raven. She loved birds, and that alone was enough to make her sprint over to the house, nearly tripping over the first step. Since Halloween was full of people in disguise, she decided she could take her harpy form without fear. Her long legs were covered in tough scaly skin, ending four large talons that could easily rip through wood by simply standing on it. She had dressed herself in a crop top with a chibi bird printed on the front, and a short black skirt. Her wings were shrunk down to the size of a large songbird, black and silver feathers fluffed for warmth.

Her talons clacked on the flooring of the strange man's porch, standing up with her pillowcase reasonably full of candy.
" Trick or Treat! "
She leaned awfully close to the God, her rosy eyes bright with Halloween spirit and sugar high. She had shifted her hair to a charcoal color for the occasion.
" I love you birdie! Can I pet you?
She spoke directly to the feathered kin, emitting a few excited avian chatters, her feathers flattening so she didn't present herself as a threat.

Ban didn't realize that she was talking to his bird and grinned. "Of course you can touch him, but be careful of his beak." He warned, handing her some candy.
