This past month in Whiterun has been quite different than what many are used to, people have been popping in out through random portals, and a few of them had introduced an odd tradition known as Halloween. Kids wandered around from house to house in order to get candy and other goods. The people thought it sounded interesting and decided to host their own Halloween celebration, but of course, Halloween wasn't for a few days.
To get prepared for it, they held a small Halloween festival just outside of Whiterun near the stables. The happy Khajiit siblings had decided to join them, they used their fire magic to make some cool light shows, while others passed around mead and sweet rolls. Kids ran around without a care in the world. It was a nice day, it wasn't often the people of Skyrim got a chance to relax like this. Ja'vassa and Chiara soon began handing out freshly made taffy treats and boiled creme treats.

His ears perked up as his small, tiny paws padded against the ground. The tiny perma kitten was dressed as the king of... pop? Yeah, he sure was. Only on fours, wearing a cute outfit and carrying a bucket in his mouth. A comically over sized one, but hey, he could easily carry it like it meant nothing.
His tail was in the air, indicating he was rather happy to do something like this. Often other trick or treaters would come by and stop and pet him, seeing how "cute" he was. He didn't mind that. Keanu liked the attention. Now wasn't the time to stop and get pets. It was time to get some treats. He came to his first stop, some humble place. Arrving at some step, he would paw at the door, making a cute mew noise.

((Gonna be using Amelia for this ))
Amelia was among the kids running around. She had ended up in this world a few days ago with her cat and fox and had decided to lay low there for a little while. Though, the celebration had caught her attention. Celebrations usually meant free food and sweets and she certainly wasn't going to turn that down. She didn't really do much to prepare for the celebration, mostly just cleaning herself up and changing into a nicer dress. She couldn't do much for a costume, so she just decided to go as a raccoon. Technically this was cheating as her raccoon-like ears, tail, and markings around the eyes were real, but if it could get the raccoon shifter some food, then so be it. Her cat and fox walked beside her as she simply went around the festival to see what she could see. She didn't talk much to other adults or kids, though she chattered on and on with her two animal companions, even if they didn't really respond. Eventually, she had come across a kitten and stared at the little creature, her eyes sparkling.

Hearing the sounds of activity and the lights, the lizard Umbra really couldn't resist taking a look. She didn't bother putting on a costume, hoping the fact that she was a bright purple humanlike lizard wearing black would be costume enough for her. Arms crossed and a small smile on her face, she looked around the town for anything she saw that would be of interest to her. Tempted to take something from one of the outside vendors, she shook off the thought and went back to see if she could get something she was actually supposed to have. She saw a kitten and some kind of...raccoon in the crowd, and looked at them curiously.
It was one of those nights where Llyr found himself able to go around and actually enjoy himself separate from his typical shenanigans with the Trader's Hub and those involved in that setting. He had his cloak wrapped and draped around him to help protect him from the chill that settled on the lands. A lit up celebration outside of a town in the distance was what caught this particular man's attention, and he started to make his way down that way.
People were using magic, children were out having fun, and it just looked like a good time in general as Llyr neared everyone and their merriment. He smiled to himself, the happiness that the others around here infecting him as he got into the midst of it.
The smells of sweets caught Llyr's attention even further, and he followed his nose to two feline beings who were handing out treats.

It wasn't often that Ghaurug made his way down to Whiterun from the Pale, but the Orsimer had heard of strange happenings around Whiterun as of late, so he made an exception. As he led his horse to the stables, he took in all the unfamiliar shapes crowding around the entrance to the grand city. Portals opened and closed before his eyes as all manner of being came and went, and in particular he spotted a raccoon-betmer, a house cat (possibly Alfiq?) in a costume, some sort of lizardfolk (not quite Argonian, he judged), and a man with strange attire and hair. There was also a pair of Khajiit handing out sweets, whom he gravitated towards.
"Hail, Khajiit," he said by way of greeting. "Lots of strange folk about these days. Could you tell me what all this is about? The odd-looking people, the festivities, the giving out of treats?" He licked his tusks and indicated their stock of taffy and creme treats. "By the way, these look delicious. Did you make them yourselves?"

There were people. Two leggers and some other creatures? His ears perked up again as his tail was up in the air. Now this was something he was curious about, Sitting up on twos, he tried ot get a better view at who was looking at him.
"Mew?" He questioned. He walked towards Amelia, curious and curious of her animal friends of course.

Unexpectedly, there was a massive turnout at the event, people of all races were gathered here tonight. The Khajiit and Argonians, Nords and the Altmer, and so many others. The sight warmed their heart as they continued handing out treats and goodies to the guests, but unfortunately, they weren't expecting so many people, that eventually they had run out of treats to give. "Alright... we'll get our light show started as we await for Lydia to bring our back ups." Before Ja'vassa could say much more, he was interrupted by the Orc. "This is known as Halloween, it was introduced by a strange traveler and we've incorporated here in Whiterun, we get together to eat and just forget about the wars that plague Skyrim." He explained in a happy tone. "Now if you don't mind, Ja'vassa must join up with his sister as we need to get our show up and running as we await for the next batch."
The Khajiit had moved a fair distance away from the group and decided to show off something they had only recently mastered. Ja'vassa was a master of alteration magic, so he used Telekinesis as his sister used a combination of Flames and Frostbite, thanks to her stream of magic, Ja'vassa was able to make a variety of dazzling shapes and an array of colors, some of the shapes looked like bottles of mead, others looked like the crest of Whiterun, others were just random shapes, needless to say, it made for a unique and exciting thing to watch.

Umbra knew nothing about the place or the wars they spoke of, but she did find a nice place to sit down and watch the light show. They were already out of treats- as she scolded herself for not being fast enough, she waited for something to happen and maybe some interesting people to speak to- if she was in another world, shouldn't she talk to the populace? Besides, there were some other lizard people here. She was always a fan of lizard people.
Amelia giggled as the little kitten approached her. She waved with a soft "Hi, kitty." before her attention was caught by the light show. Her eyes practically sparkled as she watched. She seemed to be absolutely enamored with the show. Her cat and fox companions sat protectively by her side as she watched the show.
Ghaurug nodded to the Khajiit as they headed off. The light show was interesting enough, he felt, but travelers from other realities were much more so, at least to him. The Orc approached the purple lizardfolk first, noting that she appeared to be waiting for something. “Well met,” he said as he approached, licking his tusks as he looked her over. Closer up, she was obviously very different from any Argonian he’d ever seen—was that hair? “Welcome to Whiterun, traveler.” Lowering his voice, he continued, “Is it true that you’re from another world?”
The prospect of all these portals opening up around Whiterun made him nervous. If the walls of the world were wearing thin, as they had twice in the past, it could only mean disaster...couldn’t it? But the lizard-woman before him didn’t appear to be dangerous. That should have reassured him, but the ancient veteran’s anxiety was only heightened by the apparent harmlessness of these “guests”.

It was not only the smells that caught Llyr's attention at this point. The light show that that was going on now as a display of magical capabilities made the elven-looking man raise his brow with interest as he neared the feline-looking beings that were showing these abilities off to passersby.
Clapping his hands none too loudly, Llyr expressed his admiration for the entertainment that the Khajiit were providing. He looked to the others that were gathered around, and noted the rather diverse gathering of individuals here. There was an orcish looking person that had approached a scaled, reptilian-like being. There was a small human that was interacting with an even smaller kitten not that far away. Other festival attendees seemed to consist of humans, elves of interesting structure, more feline-like individuals, and orcish beings that enjoyed their time here.
Turning back to the Khajiit entertainers that had been passing out the sweet rolls, Llyr went to address them: "amazing light show! Is it the two of you that have those amazing smells coming from here? Forgive me, I follow my nose many of the time, and I'm glad I did here. This event that's been organised seems fantastic!"
