Kara doesn't know why she ever let them, the scientists, talk her into this Trick or Treat thing. There are so many creatures running around in costumes, shoving candy in their faces; she's overwhelmed by the possibility of conversation and 'tricks'. She's uncertain why she was sent out to do such a casual thing; was it a test on how she interacts with others?
Regardless; she's out and about, her tall body clad in a leather catsuit, matching ears on her head, her long dark hair curled around her head. As she carries a pumpkin trick or treat bucket, and heads up the pathway to the next house, her walk is a bit awkward, her eyes flit about at the other people in their costumes, wondering what their favorite treat is. Wondering what her favorite treat is. She's never had candy before.
Statistics point towards her enjoying chocolate the most; but many enjoy taffy. Would she?
It was almost exciting, thinking about trying candy for the first time once she got back to the lab - or would the candy she taken from her? She is so sick of being cooped up in the lab all of the time. Perhaps that was the reason she'd not fought very much at all when presented with the idea of trick or treating.
Her bright blue eyes take in the delightfully painted house and lights, her eyebrows raising just a bit. Her heeled boots click against the pavement as she walks up to the woman; who was also dressed as a cat - though they are two vastly different ones. It makes her smile softly.
"Trick or Treat." Kara says; her voice a bit monotone - she isn't used to talking to people other than in the lab yet.

Neriah busies herself sweeping the porch and relighting the lamp whenever the chill wind blows the light out while she waits for her next guest. When that guest finally arrives, however, it definitely isn't what she expected. By all rights, it isn't a strange looking person...exactly. She has on a fairly innocuous costume not too much different from her own. She has pretty dark hair and pale skin...is that skin? It looks like skin but there's something...off about it. This woman's eyes too. They seem too large. Too...perfect. Everything about her seems just a tad too perfect. Just that little bit off. Even the way that she walks is just that little bit more exaggerated than usual, as if she hasn't been doing it that long and needs to practice more.
Despite these initial impression and her confusion on the matter, Neriah still smiles for the woman. It isn't as if this is the strangest visitor she's has so far this evening. That laurel still rests atop the head of the first woman to approach her door. The one that glowed. "I'm just doing treats this year, I'm afraid," the red head says with a small wink as she puts her broom down, leaning it up against the wall of her house so it looks as if the ghost is sweeping. "You'll have to come back next year if you want a trick."
With that she pulled a candied apple and a bag of homemade treats, cookies and peanut brittle, out of her bowl. "So, what's your poison?"

Kara can't help but stare at the woman - she likes her costume. It looks very put together and a lot softer than her own. The womans red hair is very vibratant. Kara processes her, immeditely knowing things about her that others would never know, and that she likely wouldn't want Kara to know; but she doesn't bring it up or even think of it. She simply files it away with the billions of other people she has files on, and steps closer as the woman jokes.
She blinks and tilted her head to the side a bit before smiling softly as options are held out to her. She goes over which would be best to take; the more logical would be something homemade, baked, likely to be a little more fulfilling, but she finds herself wanting the candied apple. No one else had those.
She reached a hand out towards the candied apple with it's stick. "That looks really good." She smiled.

"Somehow the adults always go for the apples." Neriah hands the apple over quite readily, but then pauses. There's something in this woman's face. A look in those over large eyes. An unsettling nervousness that seems to vibrate through her voice that doesn't sound quite right either but at the same time sounds perfectly fine. The red head's plump pink lips purse for a moment in thought before she also holds out the bag of treats and drops it into the woman's basket.
"Here. I made way too much this year. I'm sure you can find a good home for that, hmm? Even if it's just in your belly." With a wink, Neriah turns around and takes her broom back from the ghost who, being nothing but a painting on the side of her house, had done a terrible job in her stead.
"Happy Halloween!" She says over her shoulder genially as she goes back to sweeping away the dry and tumbling leaves blowing in on the chill evening breeze.
