Is this just an issue for me or is anyone else having this issue. Even though my Wi-fi and all works fine I can't view any youtube videos subscriptions or anything at all every video says its unavailable.
On one of my two YT tabs I keep on it says '500 Internal Server Error'
Mine is just plain saying 'Error 503', but I am on mobile, so maybe it is different? I can't see anything going on in my recommended or whatever, maybe YouTube has a virus that it is trying to fix and needs to shut down in order to do so? I don't know, I am not a thechy person, but I hope it isn't hacked!
Either way it seems theres some issue in the servers that needs fixed
I can confirm it is not just mobile, at least, my youtube is having the same problem.
Gentle programmer/sys admin reminder that most errors are just connectivity issues (perhaps on Youtube's end) or technical errors; they very rarely indicate hacking. Don't jump straight to panic on that front

Yeah, I'm having the same problem. Well hopefully it gets fixed soon!
It's probably just a major maintenance update or something like that.
It's back; for now, at least.

Haha, I do wonder what the world would be like without YouTube... Ah, ignore that last thought!
But even if it is a hacking or something, the likelihood of YouTube vanishing forever is next to nothing. A backup site could be set up far faster than it would take for everyone to give up at this point. Killing something as big, popular, and well-supported as YouTube would be exceptionally difficult and take a lot more than just a hack. Someone would probably have to physically destroy hundreds or thousands of servers and other hardware, most certainly scattered across multiple locations, all at once to even cripple YouTube enough to have to do significant rebuilding. Something like that would immediately be all over the news as a terrorist attack.

^^^ All this!
Good point to keep in mind, thank you!
