Raven looked on as someone just died in front of her. It wasn't the first time this had happened but for some odd reason this felt different. This death felt undeserved. Her eyes fell upon the hoard of mages that had clustered by the doorway. So this is one of the things they are up against. She felt that this would be a blood bath if someone didn't act quickly.
Raven then noticed that the Orc woman stood up and was huge, why didn't she notice that before? Once the woman had let out a noise that could rival the screams of hell she saw that majority of the mages were holding their ears blood seeping between their fingers. This was the moment to at least get some of the mage to be out of commission. Nothing personal, to an extent, but she did feel that some blood needed to repaid for the death of the woman.
Raven chanted in a demonic language quietly. Although she couldn't use the full extent of her demonic powers she could rely on her mother's witchery. She would make the mages see images of their worst fears, making them mostly susceptible to blows or whatever the other had in mind to do to these Asren mages.

The sudden noise prompted Alex to get to his feet. His eyes followed Assallya across the room and widened in shock at the way their leader hung there, twitching like a dead bug. His hair stood on end, though whether it was from the fright or electricity, he didn't know. The knight turned to face the intruders, only to realize with a chill up his spine that he was staring right up a loaded crossbow-- the same one, he guessed, that poor Assallya had been hit with. Next to the individual holding said weapon was another man, though he wielded a sword rather than a bow.
Alex took a deep breath and regarded the pair carefully. His helm was still on the ground, though he didn't dare bend to pick it up. To stall for time, he took a long breath and replied to Celestine.
"Right, your prince. It seems as if he's finally done something mildly intelligent with his walnut of a brain and instructed you to get rid of me." He fought to keep his voice calm, and while it sounded steady, it was very tense. His eyes looked around at his companions and was about to draw his longsword when Amirah seemed to roar from her hands. The noise was deafening and he instinctively ducked to try and escape it, but Alex kept his bearings and flung a goblet at Celestine to try and throw off her aim.
His sword left its scabbard with a slight florish as he stepped to the side and turned to face the enemy with his shoulder rather than his chest. The knight advanced quickly to take his place beside Amirah. A grunt rumbled in his throat as he took the handle in both hands and prepared to swing, only to turn into a gutteral yell that seemed far too big for the small knight as the blade went into motion. Alexander swung his sword at the nearest Astren soldier, risking a glance over his soldier after the man was cut down to yell at his companions, "You wanted to fight? Here's your chance!"

Dante stood up in an instant once one of the people in the room was killed- he wasn't expecting something like that to happen, and definitely not that fast. One of the creatures in the room screamed, and he believed that something was definitely bleeding- he had sharper hearing than a lot of other kinds, and was always weak to sound.
He knew that it was time to fight, of course: once everyone else started fighting the mages, it was time for him to put these battle claws to use. Making sure the straps holding them to his talons were tight, he leaped into the air and started at them with a screech. He should be able to do some good damage with just his claws before he would have to resort to magic, something he was less comfortable with and would prefer to use as a last resort in this battle.
He went for the closest person he could see that looked like if they were on the opposite side, hoping he was making the right choice. Getting involved in a battle- or maybe even a war- meant that he would have to stay around for a while, and maybe even lose what was left of his reputation. Despite this, something told him it was right to fight against these people, and so he did.

Foxy would look at them as her tail moved from side to side. "What happened?" She asks them
Celestine stood firm at the monk's attack, the roar almost made her step backwards, but she was able to resist the attacks worst effects. She motioned to Angrim. "Can I trust you to take on that Ork? I would deal with her myself, but I can't let the Colt get away..." Without waiting for a reply she was already adressing her troops, six of her eight mages had stood strong, but two of them were on the ground writhing in pain. Celestine made a mental not to discipline them afterwards. Only a handful of foot soldiers had stayed and even then they were in a pretty bad condition, meaning they were already out of the fight. "Lok, you and Lilly take on the bird. Cassandra, heal the wounded. Hera, help the mercenary with that Orc. Solomon and Horus, get that witch." They all nodded in confirmation of what to do.
"Now then..." Celestine held her aim at the young knight and was surprised that he would throw a goblet at her. Celestine instantly shot the goblet with her bow, the arrow piercing the goblet and sticking it to the wall. She exhaled, she had no idea whether or not Alexander could use magic and for all she knew he could of just thrown a bomb. "Do you wish to fight with melee weapons? Fine then, I will humor you." Celestine had no preference in weapons when it came to melee, often choosing what to use on the spot according to her mood. She threw her bow onto the ground, causing a loud thud as the metal clanged onto the ground. Celestine then held out her arm with an open hand, after a small incantation a longsword made of golden lightning appeared in her grasp.
"You say these things about Baldwin, but... If I remember correctly, our principality squashed your precious Confederacy like bugs. What does that say about your nations leaders?" Celestine advanced cautiously towards Alexander, she couldn't afford to underestimate this young knight. Her first swing was at Alexander's shoulder; she didn't put much weight into the swing, one knowledgeable in sword fighting could even notice what a lazy strike it was. Celestine's footwork was also clumsy, she didn't adjust her feet in order to remain balanced. This was a feint of course, some adversaries tend to let their guard down when fighting what they perceive as a lesser opponent.

Lok and Lilly
The two mages advanced towards Dante, Lok outstretched his arms and fired a small fireball at Dante's chest. Lilly ran to Dante's left and started chanting some sort of incantation.
Hera
Hera nodded to Angrim as she stepped forward. First she placed her hands on Angrim's weapon and applied a pure magical buff to the swords blade. "I'm mostly used for support magic, though I do know a few offensive spells." She informed Angrim.
Solomon and Horus
Horus began the fight with a jet of water sprouting from his hands towards Ravens arm. Solomon placed both of his hands onto the ground and began chanting, as he was chanting roots and vines began to rise up from under the floor toward Raven.

Dante stared into his attackers, clacking his beak and tapping his talons on the table. He knew that they wouldn't back off- they were trained too well for that, but he hoped that maybe they would have second doubts about fighting a large bird. He didn't know if they had folk like him around here, but if they didn't it was only better for him. He dodged the fireball one of them shot at him, although it singed the tip of his wing. He tapped it on the table to extinguish him, then leaped at the one to his left. "You should know not to throw fire when there's flammable materials around!" he called out to the other one, a useful piece of advice mixed with a warning. He broke off a table ledge, planning to light it on fire if he was attacked with flames again.
Raven laughed at the vine attempt she thought that it was cute to think that plants would harm her. With a wave of her hand she had made the vines wither to dust. She moved from the aim of the water. What did they think it would do? Melt her? She chanted something in latin summoning her father's sword and glared at them. She knew they wpuld be a challenge but she was determined to not fall here.
The orcish monk heard the Asten commander give out instructions and paused momentarily. Though most of the foot soldiers had ran away after her Dragon Roar technique and Raven's terrors, most of the mages had stood their ground. That meant rushing head first was probably out of the question, you never wanted to rush head first into a spellcaster lest they had a trap laid out for you-- that had been a lesson Amirah learned the hard way.
As the mages spread out to attack her companions, Amirah's yellow eyes narrowed when she focused on who had been ordered to fight her. A big knight in bulky armor with a mage to buff him. This was fine, Amirah knew how to deal with this.
Rather than attacking those helpless mages that were on the ground, Amirah focused on those who were still a threat to her. She dashed in with blurring speed at Angrim, closing the distance of the whole room in half a second. However, rather than barrel into him, the giant, muscular monk displayed an uncanny agility for her build. She jumped at angle right over Angrim and Hera's heads and sort of stuck on the ceiling of the room upside down.
Now being behind and directly above Angrim and Hera, Amirah propelled herself down going for a dive kick directly at the back of Hera's neck. Amirah was no slouch when fighting mages and their bodyguards, she wasn't going to waste her time fighting the knight-- she was going to target his support caster.
Striking with the side of her foot with devastating force, if Amirah's dive kick cleanly struck Hera there'd be no doubt she'd decapitate the caster, the monks didn't name that maneuver the Guillotine Kick for no reason.
"HRRRUUUAAAAAA!!!!" An explosive battle roar came from the Orc Monk just for good measure.

Alex readied his sword, narrowing his eyes at the remark about his leaders. The young knight concentrated on the fight as opposed to replying with another insult. Rather, he sharpened his focus like he would the edge of a sword and sized up his opponent. When she made the first move, the knight sidestepped such that the blade glanced off his plated shoulder. A clumsy attack-- he was fairly certain it was intended to give him a false sense of security. After all, the One-Eyed Peacock hadn't hesitated to throw down her bow and ready a sword. If she was that bad at melee combat, she would most likely have backed up, kept her distance, and tried shooting him. Or, she may have just tried to charge him, a common novice mistake.
Unfooled by her ruse, The Colt balanced himself and lowered his center of gravity. His helm still lay on the floor, but he hoped that the plates sticking up from his shoulder pieces would do enough to protect his neck. They should-- after all, this armor was made for fighting... anyhow, he didn't have time to grab his helm and would have to make do. Taking advantage of her clumsy footwork, though it was fake, he thrust the point of his sword at her abdomen while doing his best to keep his own body positioned well. Clearly, the young knight was an experienced swordsman despite his young age.

Foxy would try to find them. She was lost again from her master as her ears went down.
Celestine grimaced, she had used this tactic many times in the past, and almost every time her opponent had taken the bait. Her sword glanced off the side of the Colt's armor as the young knight went in for a thrust at her belly. Celestine instinctively summoned a parrying dagger in her off hand and managed to just barely disrupt the thrust so that it glanced off her breastplate, cutting the robe that hung over her armor. She regained her footing and backed off from Alexander. "Such an exquisite robe..."
Celestine closed back in on Alexander, this time adapting a high guard stance. She wielded her sword with two hands, the dagger disappearing once more. Celestine stepped to the right of Alexander as she cut downwards towards his head.

Lok and Lilly
Lilly finished her incantation and conjured a large stone golem that ripped itself up from the floor, the golem swung at Dante with surprising speed. She then started kicking up stones and fired them at Dante. Lok began spewing a jet of flames from his hands, catching multiple tables and even dancers in the flames.
Hera
The mage was surprised at the quickness the Orc had shown in their attack, Hera had been able to use a magic shield to protect herself, but was still sent to the floor by the sheer force of the attack.
Solomon and Horus
Solomon chanted once more as a spike of wood popped out of the ground at Raven. Horus had began focusing on the flames that had now been spreading. "Lok you dumbass! You're going to burn this whole place down!" Although Horus was doing his best to put out the flames, they were spreading too fast for him to put out, soon the whole building would be consumed in flames.
Cassandra
Cassandra had managed to heal one mage back to health, the newly healed mage quickly went to Hera's aid.
Others
The newly rejuvenated mage shot a beam of a type of sickly green magic at Amirah, but the shot went wide and missed entirely.
Guards that had heard the commotion had begun to reinforce the Astren mages, but dancers and workers from the club began to rush them as a mob, holding them back for the rebellion's leaders. This came at the cost of a lot of their lives as the guards started to hack their way through.

Raven narrowly dodged the spikes and looked around at the fire that spread. She didn't care if the enemy burned. "Wow you all are dumbasses now have fun burning you useless mages" she said and transformed into a raven flying to the broken door.
After her kick collided with the magical barrier, the Orc propelled herself backwards doing a back flip to land back on her feet. She studied the battle ground briefly, yellow eyes darting around. The establishment was now on fire and there was mob fighting outside-- this was not good.
She noticed the mage being restored back to health and moved out of the way of his spell, all while still maintaining her Dragon Style fighting stance.
Amirah was sure she and her companions could beat these mages, but it would be costly and time consuming. These were obviously very well trained fighters and even if their teamwork was clumsy they still attempted to cover each others' weaknesses.
Then the Orc got an idea... the Astren soldiers outside on the other hand were definitely fodder if they couldn't even get through a mob. All they needed was an example, a show of force to let the downtrodden population know that the Astren were not invincible.
Thus, Amirah gave an angered grin and with a blur of speed headed outside to follow Raven.
But, she was not doing it with the intention of escaping. Instead of turning and running down the streets, the giant of an Orc woman plowed into the mob of Astren soldiers, smashing their weapons aside and preventing them from killing more innocent people.
"PUSH THEM BACK!!" The orc roared. She wasn't the best at rallying cries-- she was kind of hoping Assallya and The Colt would take care of that, but with the former being dead and the other locked in combat, Amirah opted to lead by example.
Parrying a sword slash meant to kill a villager, the orc slapped aside an Astren soldier's weapon before breaking his knee with a downward kick leaving him staggered, she then followed it up with haymaker punch to the throat that collapsed his windpipe to finish him off.

Alex was increasingly aware of the growing flames around them, though he ignored them as he prepared for his next strike. "Whoa!" He yelped, bringing up his sword just in time to stop her from cleaving his head in half. They stayed like that for several seconds while Alexander shifted his weight to get his head out from under that blade. Above them, one of the supports on the ceiling shifted dangerously, and his eyes darted up, then back to his own fight. He'd have to finish this fast, otherwise both he and the One-Eyed Peacock would probably be dead.
"Out!" He cried, stepping aside swiftly and let her sword continue swinging downward. The sword scraped a few areas down his arm, resulting in several scratches and scrapes on the armor's surface. "Everyone out!" Then, taking advantage of his opponent's momentum, the young man threw his weight against Celestine like a bull.
Already, his face glistened with sweat, both from exertion and from the heat. The orange flames glinted cruelly in the armor of Celestine and himself.

Foxy would be fighting, she had an arrow stuck in her arm as she ran to Alexander Wilde. "Finally found you" She groaned in pain
Dante dodged the first few strikes the stone construct threw at him, but one attack connected and he was thrown against the wall. Quickly recovering, he picked up the stick- now flaming- and threw it at whoever looked like an enemy. The place was definitely burning- the flames had spread to the walls now, and part of the ceiling collapsed onto a table. With a screech Dante flapped his wings to extinguish any flames that could be on them, heading for the door. "Everyone out! The place's going down!" he screeched, flying after the other two that had left. Deciding not to stop now, he leaped onto one of the soldiers outside and pushed them to the ground. He felt pain from some kind of injury, but it was no time to stop now.
After taking down one of the soldiers, he realized that he may need some kind of weapon- talons would work, but not for too long. He dove for another gathering of soldiers, knocking the sword out of one of their hands and using it to block an attack from another one of them. He didn't know if the others got out of the burning building, but he hoped that if someone did they wouldn't be an enemy. The one thing he knew was that he didn't plan to fight this day, but that wasn't stopping him as he struck out at another soldier.

The battle raged around Assallya. A cacophony of violence that shook the very wall on which she was pinioned. She was largely ignored, understandable given she was no threat to anyone; her only movement being the occasional twitch of one leg. Her mouth gaped, empty blue eyes stared down at the floor past her bare dangling feet through a veil of disheveled golden hair.
Her glazed sightless eyes saw nothing of the chaos surrounding her. Did not see Amirah twisting effortlessly, moving like water and evading a sickly green ray of twisting energy.
The green bolt sailed past the orc monk and struck a glancing blow to the dead girl. For a brief moment the elven sorceress glowed green, a sickly aura slipping across her form, enveloping most of her. Then with a green flash Assallya's body was disintegrated.
There was a whiff of burning, a waft of dust and the wall was bare, only the metal arrow sticking out from the wood. What was left of Assallya, a single severed foot, fell to the floor with nary a sound.

Celestine cursed as she failed to realize what the Colt was doing until it was too late, the young knight had caught her completely off guard and threw her over his body. Celestine could only watch as she flew onto her back, but before she could recover the supports from the ceiling came crashing down onto the mages legs. Celestine let out a cry of pain as her leg snapped from the supports pressure.
Celestine grimaced at the situation she found herself in, the remains of her leg were buried under the rubble and the rest of the structure could fall at any moment. Celestine could only make a ward of lightning around herself and hope it would hold the collapse...
