Alecto (played anonymously)

The woman was pacing restlessly in the old ruins … stopping from time to time, squinting her eyes looking beyond the horizon, hoping beyond hope to catch a glimpse of white sails glinting into the afternoon sun. The two ravens that had taken to following her everywhere she went were there, but they brought no news this time. If Alecto was not an immortal, the uncertainty would have surely killed her. As such, the fire elemental was on edge, barely able to contain her anger by clenching her fists, nails digging into her palms drawing blood … the peacefulness of the old ruins was an affront to her state of mind, and Alecto let herself incinerate a pile of old debris.

Why had she agreed to this crazy plan? What could they hope to gain by challenging the Old Gods and changing the timeline? But her blood was like boiling lava, reminding her how she had been played for a fool, and her resentment against Juno was menacing to spill over. She just knew that, if anything were to go wrong, she would get blamed, as the youngest (and honestly the wildest) of the Furies. The other goddess’ words were still fresh in her memory, and another wave of bitterness threatened to take over.

“You're roving far too freely, high on the heavens' winds, and the Father, king of steep Olympus, won't allow it. You must give way. Whatever struggle is still to come, I'll manage it myself.” (Virgil, Aeneid, trans. Robert Fagles, Book 7, ll.646-649)

Ha! That horrid Juno will get hers in due time, Alecto was sure. After all that she did on her orders no less, she was now cast aside to take the blame. There was no honor left amongst the Gods. But no matter, if the crazy plan worked they would undo everything that went wrong, and the war with the Trojans would never happen.

Red eyes scanned the horizon again, heart beating faster with every flicker of light in the distance. There, was that the sailing ship coming back? Or was that just another bird …

This seems like a fun roleplay! I’m 15 and my father is Neptune/Poseidon. Mainly Poseidon. I hope that’s ok, and I hope you’ll consider me as a RP Partner! :3
