The trade town of Ilinum, a bustling city full of vendors and merchants looking to sell their wares and bring in exotic products from around the world. With many trade routes going in and out of the city, bandits are a constant issue. As such escorts are paid handsomely for their services. The western trade route runs straight through a forest that is known for its high danger. Monsters and bandits make their homes in that forest. Many of the most exotic and valuable products are brought in through this trade route since the chance of finding abandoned caravans and such are rather high. Mercenaries are paid particularly well for escorting traders through this place. In recent months however, the number of attacks seems to have increased drastically. Caravans have been found with all the items still remaining but with the occupants appearing as if they had been turned into pincushions with dozens of holes all over their bodies. As such, a particularly wealthy merchant who has connections with nearly every business that comes and goes has put out a bounty. Anyone who can find the source of these attacks and take it out will be paid 500,000 gold divided among the members who had a hand in stopping who or whatever was attacking the traders.

-No godmodding or op characters because then it's just boring
-No metagaming (using knowledge gained OOC to your IC advantage)

Hey! I'm working on her character sheet yet, but I'd like to use my human ranger, Rook. I was thinking of giving her a little bit of magic (based off the ranger magic in D&D), but am ok with leaving it out for this RP if you'd prefer.
