So.... my anxiety has gotten a lot worse lately to the point where it’s making me sick and stay up all night... Does anyone have any tips for dealing with anxiety? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Do you know about those weighted blanket things? They're kinda expensive, but I hear they work well for anxiety AND insomnia. Or, if you can't use one of those, maybe just more/heavierer blankets?
You might try looking up relaxing ASMR videos on YouTube. Or sounds of waves and similar.

I've found that meditation helps, not really the spiritual kind, but the kind where you focus on your mind, and kinda create a safe place inside to soothe yourself.
I really enjoy spraying some deluted lavender oil in my room and on my bed,
It helps so much!
(Essential oils can be expensive, but they're well worth it, they are so great for a LOT of things, totally check it out: http://info.achs.edu/blog/depression-and-anxiety-can-essential-oils-help)
and put on soothing music (music also helps tremendously, I'll post a few links to music that might help you). Then I just lay down, cuddle a pillow or stuffed animal, and picture myself somewhere I would like to be. Somewhere calming and just get lost deep in it (that kind of meditation).

Staying active, eating better and sleeping well (for sleeping issues, try taking a light muscle relaxant, or some vitamin supplements from a health food store)
Sleeping supplements
L-tryptophan, chamomile and Melatonin are great, if those don't help, Im sure anyone who's worked in a health food store for a while should be able to give you other suggestions. If nothing natural works, then going to a doctor for a sleeping medication may be good.

trying to stay healthier in general definitely is good for your emotions.

Cut out things in your life that are causing you too much stress, an emotional drama that you happen to watch often or toxic relationships that drag you down (just as a couple examples). Be careful to look around and find things that you're involved in that cause you stress or anxiety that you're capable of taking out of your life (Obviously a job or school or your family is kinda mandatory).
Get out with good friends, talk with a best friend if you're comfortable doing that, or just spend time close to someone you feel safe with doing something you both enjoy. And try to do that at least once weekly.

Treat yourself.
Seriously!
While it may seem a bit selfish or self-indulgent to buy yourself some comfy and cool PJs or something that makes you feel better or more confident, it's not. In fact, taking time to treat yourself every so often is doing you and everyone else around you a huge favor. It's not selfish to keep yourself feeling confident and comfortable.

Keep a journal, write down your thoughts and feelings, it can be really relieving, especially if you don't have anyone to talk to or you aren't comfortable talking about certain things.

I know this is quite a bit, but I hope it helps!! Feel free to pm me if you need anymore suggestions or if you want someone to chat with.
I understand anxiety... :)

I suffer from anxiety too and I know how it is. I may not stay up late as much but I have attacks anywhere I go. If it’s in the middle of the street, school, or at home, I can have an attack. For me personally I would listen to calming music or any music that helps you calm down. Try to keep you mind off of what you are thinking about. I hope your anxiety gets better but I know it’s not fun
i suffer from anxiety as well, and it makes my had a shake to the point I can't use them.

~Deep breaths are really good, clears your brain.

~ counting backwards from 200. It forces you to stop what your doing go focus on the numbers.

~ if the the numbers are to easy, try the area. What are 5 things you see, 4 things you touch, 3 things you hear, 2 things you can smell, and 1 thing you can taste. Forces you to stop and look at your area.

~ sit down and focus on feeling your body. Start with your toes, then your feed, then your ankle, then your lower leg, then your knee, then your thigh, then your hips, then your stomach, then your chest, then your shoulders, then your elbows, then your wrists, then your hands, then your fingers, then your neck, then your mouth, then your nose, then your eat brows, then your ears. And every time you go to a new body part, re start. like.

' Toes. Toes, Feet. Toes, Feet, Ankle.'

And I think your get it.

~ talk to someone about it, don't hide it from everyone, people can really help.

~find some happy, funny, silly pictures and put them on your phone. So when the anxiety comes, you have something good to look at.

Those are my little tips, they don't work for everyone. Those are more for when you can't calm down, or even sleep. Weird one, holding your breath. I know, and I don't mean in a meditation kinda way. You just hold it, tense your tummy up, and wait till you can't breath and take a gasp of air. I know it's weird! But it works for me, so maybe you. For debunk it till you try.

I hope those work. Good luck.
Stay away from caffeine such as energy drinks and coffee, as that just hypes you up and gives you the jitters. (I still drink them though, I just don't care.) Instead try some chamomile tea. It works. Also look for some supplements called theanine. They contain herbs that balance out your mood and keep you tranquil. These can be found anywhere from your local pharmacy to your grocery store to a vitamin shop.

Listen to music. It doesn't have to be calming or anything. Just listen to whatever songs you like most. I personally listen to just about the heaviest music you can get some of the time, and that still takes my mind off the dreaded anxiety.

Read a book, or watch a humorous t.v. show. Laughing puts you in a good mood and releases some stress too.

Hope this helps, since I struggle with anxiety too.

Do you know where I can get essential oils? I have heard a lot of people mention them but haven’t tried them myself! Are they at a health store or do I buy them online

Yes! You can get them many different places, but I suggest checking out a specific brand called Dottera Oils, they have stores and people you can connect with and buy them from and they offer online sales too I'm sure.

Alright! Thank you so much!
dont bottle it up. If you have a trusted friend or family member please go to them. For myself I find if I keep quiet it gets worse. Sometimes when I can't muster up the courage to talk to anyone I know I use a crisis text line when things are really bad
