I'm not sure if this is possible, but from what I know, it's not.
I'd love to be able to leave a kudos as a character on another character's page because I have anon characters and sometimes you want to tell someone how fun it was rping with that character and how well developed you think it is. But you can't.. because it'll show who your anonymous character belongs to.

You can go to the character's profile page and IF they have the Guestbook option, you can write it out there. If you do this, get it right because I don't think guestbook entries are editable.
This suggestion has been turned down in the past due to the potential of abuse with anonymous characters. Last I heard Kim talk about this, it was low-key on her radar. That was a couple of years ago though; the site's tools have been improved upon since then, so it might be possible that this is now a more viable option.
As someone who almost exclusively RPs with anonymous characters, I have been dying for this feature myself, but also understand why it doesn't exist in this form (yet). I'm very much pro-character kudos provided it doesn't dramatically increase workload for the mods!

Another reason I've never been very interested in this (particular solution) is that kudos are famously OOC communications, and throwing characters in the mix is likely to give the mods a lot of IC communications they have to prune out of kudos. As soon as characters become available anywhere, people kind of go nuts with it.
I'm much more prone to solve this by just allowing for anonymous (to the players, not the mods) kudos, instead of having them addressed from anon characters.

For the IC/OOC thing, what about having the message state that it comes from "the player of" the anonymous character? And a note on the kudos entry about it if they select that?
Otherwise, yeah, just a general anonymous option would still be preferred, whether it notes the character or the actual player for your records in case of abuse. (I recall you mentioning that even for you, you've made it difficult to identify who an anonymous character belongs to.)

I would have to agree. anoy use of kudos of those who obviously don't want people to know who they are is kind of a common decency
I think the idea of anonymous kudos vs anonymous Character kudos is a good idea. A lot of sites allow guest comments and whatnot so I'm sure a feature similar wouldn't be bad. I understand why theres a headache between the concept of leaving kudos as a character.
I personally love this idea - having an anon character being able to give a kudos. Because not every one wants to broadcast who they are or what characters belong to them.

I would be 100% okay with this!
I think I'd be a good fix just to say this kudo comes from the player of so and so, without giving away the owner!
Add my support to the 'from player of X' idea
I also agree with the anonymous player kudos.
