Ash watched in the darkness as horrible humans dump nuclear waste into the river steams. She felt her dragon tattoo start to glow with the need to fix what is happening, her eyes doing the same thing. She felt a horrible sharp pain in her stomach and when she touched her stomach, she was bleeding. "Oh no, not again." She knew what was happening. Every time something happens to the waterways that would hurt mother nature badly, she would start to bleed on her stomach. She wish she could stop them now but when she looked up the men were gone, and the nuclear waste was slowly killing or mutating poor defenseless fish.
Storm darted through the skies with a longing flowing rainbow tail of light, wisp, and stardust chasing close behind like a commet. His eyes glowed and his hands were swallowed by a beautiful aura. He stayed close to the ground to avoid being detected. He frequently spun to check from all directions for any incoming dangers. When he thought he was safe he slowed down, losing his tail. He looked down at the hypnotic water systems, tons of rivers contributing to each other. Until he zoomed right back a stream of water that was murky and brown. He halted so fast that he almost fell out of the sky. He didn't think he had time to stop but his desire for helping drew him in closer. He floated down slowly until he spotted a woman cascaded in a vermillion liquid, and he knew too well what that liquid was. He pondered the likeliness of a trap, but floated over and risked it anyway.
Ash looked up at the guy coming near her. She was going to run but another wave of pain crashed through her, causing her to fall to her knees as the bleeding increased. She hated humans so much for all the pain they are causing her. She couldn't tell what the guy was but she didn't like the idea of anyone she didn't know being near her. She let out a low growl, trying to scare him off. Her voice was too weak. She was waiting for the wound to heal, it always did with in a few days. Her deep blue hid her pale face.
Storm could tell the woman was badly hurt, and was afraid. Storm stopped floating and sunk to the ground, which made his eyes stop glowing which he knew did frighten some people. He looked her in the eyes and reassured her "I only wish to help you." He didn't know what to do, and in fact had forgotten all of his powers in the intense feeling of the moment. He didn't know what caused her pain so he stuck out both of his hands, and once again they were swallowed in an aura as was his eyes, and a bubble of energy started to form around the woman. "I don't know how this happened, but this will protect you." Storm looked around for something he could use to create a healing potion, because he knew his healing spells were far too weak to help this woman.
Ash flinched, not liking the idea of being in this strange bubble like thing. "Let me out!" She choked out. "I'll heal in a few days. I don't need your help." The bleeding had already slowed to a stop. She didn't trust him, more so because she had never met anything or anyone like him. She hit the bubble form the inside, but not hard enough to break it. She looked around the area in hope that her mother might be around to help her here or something. She rarely talked, and so she had no clue how to explain to him what she was feeling.
Storm was shocked, he didn't think she was strong enough to talk, let alone scream. "Calm down, that bubble isn't going anywhere unless i choose it to, so save your strength." With that, the bubble blinked away like a fading hologram. Storm started to hover and got little closer before sinking back to the ground like the entire motion was a big leap. "Well, I'm Storm, what's your name? How can i help you?" Storm looked back at the polluted river and got sad, but his attention was thrown back to the bleeding woman, who in fact wasn't bleeding as much. "WHAT? How did you stop your bleeding?" Storm reached out to touch the wound but quickly realized it would be a bad idea and retracted his hand.
Ash stood up. "My name is Astarot. And I heal fast, I wouldn't have gotten hurt at all if those stupid humans didn't throw that waste in there." She sighed. The pain was easing, the wound was healing. Her eyes and expression sadden when she looked back at the river. "Horrible humans." She mumbled as she clenched her teeth.
"Astarot, what a beautiful name! Well I'm glad to see your alright, but your saying the waste caused this? What do you mean?" Storm looked confused and frantically darted his eyes between the newly healed woman and the polluted water way.
"I'm a water dragon, my mother is the goddess that watches over the water's of this world and with all this pollution, it is killing her and I." She sighed. she hated how little humans cared of the water they are destroying. Little did they know, they were killing themselves as well.
"WOAH! AND I THOUGHT I WAS IMPORTANT! Well anyway, I am a witch, you name a spell i know it! well......maybe not any spell...but you get the idea!" Storm put on and embarrassed smiley face and did a loop through the air. He then did small trick to prove his story. He made a "star" in his hands, then it vanished. He threw confetti out of his hands from no where, then twirled his index finger and flicked his wrist to make it point to the sky, creating a ball of light that soared up into the sky the exploded into a firework the read "ASTAROT". "See?" Storm looked satisfied.
Ash nodded. "I kinda could tell that you weren't human, just by your scent. It isn't hard, I just haven't had the chance to meet a witch before. I thought all witches were girls and the guys were wizards." She shrugged uncaring. "Do you think you could help get rid of the nuclear waste?"
Storms eyes glowed red, as did his hands and his hair started standing and flailing as if he was falling "DON'T YOU EVER CALL ME A WIZARD, THOSE INCONSIDERATE BASTARDS ONLY THINK ABOUT THEMSELVES AND WITCHES ARE AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT SPECIES!" Storm immediately stepped back. "I'm so sorry, it's just that I'm very sensitive about wizards, i don't have the best luck with them." Storm turned around to face the river. "I've never tried a nature spell like that before, but i guess i could try, but i don't know if this will be strong enough to get it all." Storm balled his hands into first and the rainbow aura engulfed them yet again. He whispered to himself and punched the air in front of him, opening his palms which released a multicolored wisp that fluttered ferociously towards the water. Upon impacted the entire populated portion of the river glowed blue. "IT'S WORKING! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!" Storm shouted as he jumped up and down. The river stopped glowing and revealed itself. When Storm turned back around he looked at the river and realized that his spell hadn't worked. Storm's spell had only gotten rid of the trash in the river such as shoes and twigs, and only a portion of the actual nuclear waste, but the water was still polluted and murky, but looked much better. Storm stared wide eyed at his failure, he hated when he tried to help someone and his spells didn't work.
She was taken back at Storm's reaction to her calling him a wizard. "I'm sorry, I really didn't know. Like I said this is the first time I have met a witch or wizard in my life time. I'm still very young for a dragon." Once all that spell casting was done, Ash sighed, but did look a little happy to see that the river was cleaner, even if was only a little. The wound was healed a tad bit. "Thank you. Since it is a bit cleaner, my wound has healed more so. It will take less time now for it to fully heal, and once it does I will get rid of the rest of the nuclear waste."
Storm looked at her wound. "So you mean that when you see water that isn't healthy, you become unhealthy too? That must be inconvenient. Well, i may not be good at spells, but I'm great at potions. I know a quick one that will patch that right up." Storm pointed at the ground and more multicolored smoke appeared revealing a pot on wooden logs set on fire. Storm smiled happily, then the pot disappeared. "It's always with me!" Storm floated up and did a quick spin, hi glowing hands leaving a trail behind them, surrounding him in a double helix before he floated back down.
"Pretty much, it is what it is. My mother has to suffer the same way." Ash sighed. "I don't really know what potions will do to me. I have never drank one before." She watched as he did his magic. "It might be better if I change into my dragon form and let it heal faster that way."
Storm looked disappointing. "No really it will be real quick, i think i have all the ingredients right with me." Storm made the pot reappear in a cloud of multicolored mist and smoke.
Ash sighed. "Fine, but if it doesn't work, then I will transform so that it will heal faster." She watched, actually impressed by his power. She knew if she touched the water near her, the wound would become worse due to it being polluted.
Storm pointed to random places spots in the air, and everywhere he did a puff of multicolored smoke would appear, and a bottle of an unidentifiable ingredient inside inside along with it. The bottles then poured, shook, drizzled, and sprinkled a portion of the contents inside. Storm talked to himself, saying the recipe as his creation came to being. "A pinch of ground Sherpa leaves..." a green powder fell from a bottle into the pot. "The soul of corrupted fairy..." A black and purple orb with a wicked sinister smile oozed out a bottle and into the pot..." several more ingredients went in before he finally looked at Astarot and said "And FINALLY.....oh...wait....you're a water dragon right? I'm afraid I'm fresh out of water dragon scales. Would you mind transforming so i could pluck one? I need it for the potion, but don't worry, after you drink it, it will grow back instantly!"
Ash was a little surprised that he needed a water dragon scale for a healing potion. "Okay." She closed her eyes and took a deep breath in. Her blue dragon tattoo slipped off her skin and wrapped around her entire body in a strange, undescribable blue light. The blue light began to to shift in form and began to shift into the form of a large Chinese dragon. The blue light disappeared and where it was stood a large, ocean blue dragon. Ash couldn't speak with her mouth in this form, but she could with her mind like most dragons. "Please be quick." she spoke in Storm's mind.
"Hold still" storm said and plucked off several shiny blue scales "Need to restock, I hope you don't mind." All but one of the scales vanished. The remaining scale fell into the pot. When it touched the liquid bright bubbles flew up from the pot. Small empty potion bottles appeared under the bubbles. The bottles opened up and prepared for what happened next. Each bubble popped and a rainbow color liquid appear out of nowhere, and glided into the bottles, not wasting a drop. The pot and all but one of the potions disappeared in a cloud of rainbow smoke and mist. "Here ya go" Storm said handing Astarot the potion. "Now don't be surprised if it turns blue before you drink it, or you glow slightly from the inside."
