Princess Melody Carol deForest was given to an old gypsy lady to smuggle away to somewhere she could grow up in safety.
She has gone through many trials and came out on top. Now that she was given her "Queendom" back by Lord Pentre, she went home to her castle. She soon started home with her husband, King Brian.
On her way home, she finds her people working 12 - 14 hours a day and 6 or 7 days a week since spring planting. Everyone was working from those who were 5 years to those who could barely stand. If one did not do their share, they were imprisoned where they did not return home.
There were no holidays and high taxes. The people are barely surviving with their meager old stale rations. None were under 5 years old..... as if there was a curse of not being able to become pregnant. Everyone were maudlin.
Upon arriving at her castle, the Keeper was not there, staff were not there, nor did anyone respond to the dull sound of the bell which Queen Melody rang.
Queen Melody now has a New Life, New Trials to go through. Who will help this young Queen take her Kingdom over?
